This place is one local favorite.Live band.Cheap drinks.Locals.Not the place for those who don't like smoking.people smoke and you will inhale second hand smoke.But this is my favorite.

Hands down top three dive bars in Orlando! Mostly because it's a live music venue, and on any given evening, you can hear some incredible live music. I typically frequent this venue on Monday evenings when the Ogolvie Trio is in full effect! They are a live cover band, typically covering soul and R&B music from the early 2000s, including a couple of their own jams. It's tucked into a secret basement, which is really nice for summers in Orlando by keeping it cool. The drinks are pretty affordable, typical domestic beer is about five bucks, a good tequila and soda is about 8 bucks! There's no food at this venue, however they allow you to bring food in, so that's a nice touch. Always incredible service, very moody speakeasy vibes, and genuinely a good time!

Sooooo grateful for this place and, per a few locals we met at a show the next day, a holdout in the area to good old regular bars. We wandered around this area of downtown and it was clubs and lines and cover charges galore - think Ybor City in Tampa circa 2003. Walked in one place.. right back out and the girls working the door said "yea we didn't think you'd like it" and directed us here at our request "of a basic old school bar where we can just have some drinks and chill". Atmosphere was perfect for what this place is.. friendly as hell staff and most importantly unpretentious & welcoming. Didn't go for 5 stars just because they had fancier beers on tap and my beer tastes are simple as hell.

We stumbled upon Tanqueray's on a night out in Downtown Orlando. We noticed a staircase leading down to beneath ground level of the building, and though I live in Florida I'm always intrigued by 'basements.' The bouncer ID'd us, and we made our way inside, immediately welcomed by the smell of cigarettes and Rock music. Not a fan of the smoke, but the music was great. They host live music, with calendars and dates posted inside. The drinks were good, full bar, beers on tap, and skilled bartenders. The ambiance is intimate and definitely dive-y. Just don't expect to eat here, just drink and enjoy the tunes! Cheap drinks, great entertainment, and a nice way to start a little pregame before the downtown crawl!

This place is quite the hidden gem. I've lived in Orlando for 5 years and have passed by it numerous times. Decided to pop in for the first time tonight and what a cool spot. The live band "Ancient Sun" is crushing some classic rock. It's tough to find good live music spots downtown. My one and only complaint... the ceilings lol. This is constructive criticism to the owner: please invest in at least spray painting the 80s office vibe ceiling tiles that make me feel like I'm sitting at a cubicle.

Down some flight of stairs. Definition of a drive bar. Really strange older music - i put money in the jute box. And made request Because it was so bad. I think someone was requesting songs on phone. I liked playing darts. You need cash for darts. Bar tenders were nice. Bathrooms were ok. Very chill feel -drinks 7-10$

Hey you guyssssss! This place is an oldie but goodie, there was a live band, the bar tenders were all attentive and made good drinks. My all time fav is the pac man game lol! That was fun to battle with my friends. This place almost reminds me of a speak easy. When bar hoping downtown Orlando add this one to the list. No cover and good drinks!

A great and cheap underground bar on Orange! My boyfriend and I stumbled across this bar when we were walking downtown in the florida heat, then all of a sudden we feel this super cold breeze coming from a staircase. We went downstairs, and discovered a cool wooden cigarette bar. We're not smokers, but we didn't mind the smell. The drinks, M-F from 5-8pm, the whole tab is 50% off! We were so surprised. We ordered 11 beers for $22! It was so crazy we came back here the next day. Shoutout to David and Jereme as bar tenders. So friendly, so quick and very welcoming. The restrooms here are also so clean. The cleanest restrooms in downtown for sure. We'll be back, we love our happy hour!

Security guard wednesday night aggressively grabbed me and threw me out saying i was "not allowed back here" after trying to report him to the bartender/manager after he tried to bribe the people behind me for 100$ after allegedly taking their "fake".I frequent this bar and have nothing against the establishment except for their vetting of security personnel. Hopefully they don't continue to work with this individual.

I had the best time ever I had always seen and read the reviews about tanquerade but never had the opportunity to go. I will be back again and be bringing a few friends with me the drinks were awesome price was right love the band I had a great time
