Talkin' Tacos SoDo

I find myself returning to this location specially because of the wonderful service! You can't really go wrong with these craft tacos but the steak out is probably my favorite at the moment. If you're into chess you should check them out on a Thursday evening!

This place is pretty cool but after midnight it's a shit show. I enjoy the Birria Ramen EVERYTIME! This time I decided to try something new. Worse decision.I Ordered both Caribbean Carne Tacos and Chicken Achiote Tacos. Before I could even place my order, (not to be rude) the younger Hispanic lady was complaining about who was going to cover her shift. Apparently she had to leave before midnight and I was about to order my food at 3:36. I enjoyed the Caribbean Carne Tacos even though the avocado ranch sauce was super excessive... so when my Chicken Achiote Tacos came out I already knew I wasn't going to enjoy them because they were also drenched with the avocado ranch sauce and were super oily. I immediately addressed my concern with the lady who's in a rush to leave. Her and the chef discussed my concern in Spanish and didn't communicate with me at all soooooo I proceeded to sit down and wait. Why? Because I assumed my order was going to get fixed. Right? Wrong. I had another young lady approach me ( a heart tattooed on her face, super sweet) trying to address the situation and just understand what was wrong with my order. I proceeded to inform her that my second set of tacos were drenched in the sauce and that I returned my tacos to the front to be fixed. She confirmed that she would make sure that was taken care of and 7min went by and again she approached me (same young lady with the heart tattooed on her face) That she's getting different stories from the chefs and cashier.. Mentioning that I ATE ALL MY TACOS and was looking to get another set. One, I can't even eat 6 tacos let alone request more at almost 12 o',clock at night... huh? Anyways.. fast forward one of the chefs finally remade my tacos after trying to confront both the cashier and chefs on where my Chicken Achiote Tacos went that I asked to be remade. Everyone looking clueless..... mind you everyone is looking at me like I'm the problem when, someone could have just communicated that they didn't want to remake my food instead of throwing it in the TRASH.Yet making me feel bad because now I ate all the tacos and they don't know what I'm talking about. Mind you I left the hospital just to go back to the hospital and it's just soooo inconsiderate when literally all someone could have done was show me some respect and address the problem with me . Anyways, thanks.. to the staff for remaking me my food. Thank you to the lady who has a heart tattoo for trying to assist even after calling her manger and letting me know that they weren't answering and she didn't know how to respond to the situation. Thank you to the younger Hispanic lady for "offering me a free drink." Though I kindly declined. But above all thank you to the chef that remade my food ( the one wearing the glasses) because the younger Hispanic chef (again not being rude) was too busy talking and singing then proceeded to look at me crazy when I was trying to locate my tacos that needed to be remade. Won't catch me here again. It was nice while it lasted.

I decided to order take out so I used the QR code to get to my location and order. The online system offered a $7 discount for a $20 purchase as a VIP member. I ordered the $14.99 Taco Trio (2 Birria and 1 Carne Asada). I added the Street Corn in a Cup ($6.99) so it was liking getting the side for free! (We love free!)The order was ready nearly 10 minutes before my scheduled time (4pm), which was great as I just arrived in the parking lot. A text message is sent to you when your order is ready. Pickup was easy and quick. However, the Take Out bag is stapled closed so I never bothered to check the order. I got home and the bag did NOT contain the usual consommé for the Birria tacos.I called the location and asked if a small cup of consommé was still provided with the Birria tacos. The gentleman checked on it and apologized for not including it with the Taco Trio. He said I could come back to get it, but I declined. The consommé here definitely makes the Birria tacos. As such, I gave this location 4 stars for the take out service (as the tacos and street corn were great!)

I really enjoyed the food I tried. I ordered the Cali burrito and the street corn in a cup. It was delicious.I went to pick up my food at 1 AM and there were plenty of people there as well. It seemed like a great after our spot to grab food late night. Either the owner or a manager assisted me and was a really helpful. I appreciate appreciated it a lot. I've been back several times since discovering this place in November 2024. I would recommend it to friends and I will keep coming as the service and food are good I've only ever gone to pick up my food so I haven't dialed in but the times that I've gone to pick up my food. The ambience has been great. There's music playing. There are lots of black light painting everywhere. It's definitely a vibe.

Was able to experience this restaurant through Uber Eats and was not disappointed. Food was very tasty and fresh. My favorite was the Birria Grilled cheese. It was huge and loaded with meat. The shrimp burrito was a close second. It too was really huge and filled with shrimp. The flavor explosion in my mouth was fantastic! The taco trio was my least favorite but it wasn't bad at all. I recommend and would eat from here again. If the food was this good off uber eats I can imagine that going there in person would be even more awesome and fresh.

The food here is amazing and they have the best tacos in Orlando!! I love the birria bun before and the ramen the first time I went here. Really delicious and so much flavor on them! Today was change it up, we got loaded nachos a the sauce is amazing, it was sweet which I love! We also ordered The Taco Trios, I got shrimp, mahi and birria of course very filling got full with the trio. We also got horchata, it was sweet. I'll keep coming back for more delicious food. I recommend it to anyone!! The staff are friendly and make sure we were doing okay. I love the place how it is, colorful for sure! It's clean and neat. They clean up for you as well. Great food!

Talkin' Tacos is hands down the best taco spot around. I go once a week, and every time, the tacos blow me away. The flavors and toppings are on point, perfectly balanced--like a chef's kiss in every bite. I've even catered them for my office a few times, and they're always a hit. Seriously, no other taco compares. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

Honest review. Good for what it is. Definitely not worth the $15 for 3 "street" tacos. As a Southern California native and with Mexico being next door from there, street tacos are like the life line of the state. You'll find some of the best.. if not the best tacos there. So I am dubbing myself Miss Taco Connoisseur.Talkin Tacos is the kind of spot that you'd stumble into on a good night after hanging out with friends. The restaurant operates perfectly. In synced. Fast and efficient.Food is subpar. Would I go back? Probably not. Just so happens they're halal and I was craving tacos, so I gave it a try. My first time coming here was a pretty cool experience! It was quiet so I was able to go right up to the kiosk and add in my order. I wasn't quite sure what to get, so I decided to try a bit of everything! For the meal I ended up ordering a steak burrito, the Elote (with Takis), and the mangonada. The burrito was larger than I was prepared for so I shared it with my hubby. It was cooked and prepped very well and tasted on point! The Elote was interesting to try with the Takis on top but I think next time I'll order it without them. Finally the mangonada drink! It was good but I feel like it didn't have a strong enough mango taste for my liking. Overall I had a good experience here and I would go back, although I'd change up my order a bit to save some $$$

11am lunch with no other customers in the building- looked like a few catering orders. Dine in: order at kiosk. Ordered: chips and queso, birria tacos, corn, French fries and 3 separate tacos. Queso wasn't warm at all- majority of chips were stale. Tasted like cheap velveta cheese. Birria tacos and consume had no flavor at allMahi taco was good- lots of toppingStreet corn was good French fries were okay but no fresh at all For $60 and a nice tip added this was not worth it. Disappointed to say the least
