This is a Puerto Rican spot that is delicious that I had to get breakfast and lunch in the same day. I started off with their breakfast sandwich on a Cuban bread which was a 10/10. I got a runny egg so it was perfect the way the sandwich was made. Then for lunch I got a beef empanada which reminded me of how my great grandma made it from San Juan. It was perfectly seasoned and didn't have olives or anything extra, just ate that with mayo ketchup. The cashiers were nice and if we needed to be explain the menu they are willing to help. There is seating inside and outside for the Lake Nona location and a perfect spot to eat at.

My wife took me out for a Father's Day breakfast, and I was excited to get a breakfast burrito and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, the cashier informed me they were out of tortillas, so I switched to a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The food was delicious, although the quesito we ordered could've been crispier. I asked about the happy hour special, but the staff seemed unsure of the details, only mentioning it runs from 2 PM to close on weekdays. This lack of knowledge was a bit disappointing. Additionally, during our three visits, the tables have consistently been on the dirty side, which detracts from the overall experience. Despite these issues, the restaurant serves great food and won't disappoint if you decide to dine here. I just hope they improve their staff training and cleanliness.

I'm not from the area. I'm more to the south of Florida, was in the area dropping off a friend at Orlando airport. I decided to get some Puerto Rican food (in my area is rare to find) and all I have to say is WOW. I order the Tripleta Jibarito sandwich and oh my. This was perfection. I had mine with the sorullitos, and after tasting the sorullitos I wished I could had bought an extra side order. Besides the food the place is immaculate clean. Love the wall art and pictures representing the island of PR. The vibe was perfect. It felt good to be around my people, but the most important thing is the honesty of the workers. Do you know that while there I used the bathroom. I guess while drying my hands my husband's wedding band which I wear in my pointer finger (he passed away a month ago) must've slipped out. I make the drive back home, which is 1 1/2 hours and a few hours later I noticed that my ring was not on my finger. I bawled like a baby. Anyway after searching around the house and car, I decided to call the restaurant, and lo and behold someone had found it and gave it to one of the staff. His name is Grabiel. Talk about honest people. Gabriel, if you are reading this thank you from the bottom of my heart. My husband of 35 years never took of this ring, so me wearing it keeps me connected to him. Thank you to the person that found it and returned it. You all made my day. I had my sister which lives 20 minutes away pick it up. I don't care what they say my people are the best!! Honest, caring and hardworking.

So excited to have found this place! Only tried a few things -- guava y queso pastelito, quesito, alcapurria (which I haven't had in years) and papa rellena. Soooo yum! Service was fast and friendly. And the prices were very reasonable. They have a great menu that I hope to try soon. Will definitely come back.

Hi I recently visited Tainos Bakery from Lake Nona and ordered a Mofongo with carne frita. The meat was good but the Mofongo had no taste at all.

So excited Taínos is here now! The best off bakery, cafe, frappes, and ready to eat hot food. Want to get a quick bite in total Puerto Rican awesomeness, then search no further! No wonder this is their 5th and newest location. Noise level is standard, and may hold a one on one meeting, if you don't mind the wonderful beats of drums and trumpets as they play Salsa. I so wanted to get up and dance to the old school sounds of Frankie Ruiz and Lalo Rodríguez. They do have tropical juices, but only the orange juice is fresh squeezed. What did I try? I had a pionono empanadilla (empanada stuffed with sweet plantains and ground beef) and it was just right! I also had a passion fruit container juice. All good. Took some quesitos home that I'm sure will not disappoint.

It was our first time here, and won't be the last. My wife and I were in a rush, so we split a breakfast sandwich and a couple of empanadas. The Bistro sandwich on Midnight (Medianoche) bread was very tasty. The bread is as sweet as described, so if you're not into sweet bread stick with the sourdough. The pizza empanada was a bit greasy for us while the chicken was less and tastier. Interior and ambience was pleasant, just plan to search for a seat during peak times. The food came out fairly quick for how busy it was at the time.

Came in twice this week to get a farina to find out there was none. Not sure if it's this location but it doesn't feel the same with the service. I guess I will make El Meson my go to breakfast spot. Not to mention prices are better.

A nice addition to this busy plaza's variety. If you're looking for a quick and filling bite I definitely suggest them. So far I've had a few sandwiches and no regrets. The size is big that many only eat half and take the rest for later. The porkys Bbq is a perfect mix of meats with a sweet savory taste. The jibaritos are great when you have them fresh, using plantain instead of bread it's a nice healthier change up. I would have given the fifth star but sometimes there's a language issues as my Spanish is terrible, and sometimes they have to hunt someone from the back to translate my order but it's worth it for a tasty, filling meal at a nice price.
