We had them today at work during our food truck Thursday. I had two beef tacos and the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was delicious but the tacos are only average. I don't like corn tortillas and they featured them on the tacos so they didn't strike me as excellent. Plus $15 for tacos and a quesadilla was a little pricey...just my opinion.Overall they were OK...nothing special.

Too pricey and the food is mediocre at best. Was so excited when we (here at work) were given the first menu the day before they would arrive, showing two tacos for $3 then today we got an updated menu showing the same Price for one. Ridiculous. The quesadilla I ordered was TINY and had about 6 tiny cubes of meat in it. I eat at Tepeyac In Saint Cloud and they're flavorful tacos are $1.75 and packed with delicious meat. Oh well. You eat and learn.

Why must you only be a food truck? Whaaaaa! Tacos Mazatlan make tacos that remind me of the tacos I used to eat in LA. They serve their tacos on two corn tortillas, with fresh cilantro, and a lime quarter to squeeze over the top. I tried both the carne asada and the al pastor tacos and absolutely loved them. My husband got a chorizo quesadilla (not your regular quesadilla) and it was super yummy too. My kids had a chicken quesadilla and it was just as tasty as the rest of their food. I am totally hooked on tacos Mazatlan and will be following their truck whenever I can. You should do the same! The truck is clean, the service is good, but most importantly, the flavor is on point.

This food truck came to my work, and I was so excited because I have been craving GOOD Mexican food for awhile. I ordered two carne asada tacos with rice and black beans, and a horchata. The tacos were pretty good, steak was seasoned well, I only wished they were a little larger for $3.50 a pop. The rice wasn't the best, but the black beans were pretty good, especially with a hint of the hot sauce they had on the counter. The worst part of this meal was the horchata. It was $3 for essentially a kid sized drink. Not to mention, it tasted like chalk, because it's made from powder. Maybe I'm spoiled because I grew up with homemade (or at least better mixed) horchata, but it was disgusting. I'm now back in my office, $15 poorer and still STARVING. Taco Bell may not be authentic Mexican, but even a $5 deal box is more satisfying than this.

Ah, where do I start!? I've been following this food truck for days and I couldn't wait for the opportunity to bite into one of these blissful tacos! First things first, I love how you can follow their every move on their Instagram page! It made finding them that much easier. They have a few different options to choose from! I had to order almost one of each! (Passed on veggie and tofu, no thank you!) oh and I snagged one of their Orange sodas, yum! We ordered the El Pastor (pork), Chicken and steak! The staff was extremely friendly and seemed excited to see us! When the tacos came out, they were served hot and on fresh corn tortillas -- calling my name of course! The steak was my first bite.. the flavor was out of this world, and the crisp on the outside of the steak pieces make the taco. The next one I tried was the chicken. It was good but nothing really stuck to me... now the highlight of my afternoon was the El Pastor! It was topped with cool pineapple junks and was PACKED with flavor! Now for the reason I gave only 4 stars: I am definitely NOT a fan of Corn tortillas! I want some flour, some gluten! Lol but overall the tacos were good! I just ask that you be a bit more thorough, because for example, I didn't know there were sauces to use on your tacos until probably almost 2 tacos in! Other than that, the food was great and the drinks were cold!

Mexican Food truck. I ordered the chorizo quesadillas, rice and black beans for under $10. Reminds me of the mexican food I get back home in Chicago. They use corn tortillas which I prefer over the flour tortillas.

Husband & I came to Orlando for an OC game, and found this taco truck located right outside the stadium. As we got there early and hadn't had lunch, that seemed like as good a time as any to try some tacos. They offer tacos, Gorditas, and quesadillas and several different meats (asada, pollo, barbacoa, and carnitas). We ordered a combo of three tacos and a drink (Cokes and Jarritos). They're served the same way I've gotten tacos from food trucks in CA - double corn tortilla, meat, cilantro, and onions, with a lime quarter on the side. I thought the flavor of the meat was AMAZING, but I wish there would have been more in each taco, especially for the price. That seems a bit steep at 3.50 per taco, but I guess that's what you get from a food truck in Orlando, outside of a sports arena. Having said that, I would definitely eat here again.

Being a native Chicagoan, and a now taco-starved Floridian, I was obviously elated when I read about a 'Chicago-style' taco truck. I've hit this truck five times now and here is my honest review. First off, they serve a proper taco. Double corn tortilla, meat, cilantro and onions with complimentary salsa. That is the definition of a Chicago street taco. Now if you are going to go full on Mexican street taco, then you are just talking meat and salsa. So please, any review that harps about the lack of lettuce or tomato, or Gods forbid- sour cream! Please educate yourself about tacos and do the world a favor by deleting your review. Now the tortilla is an El Milagro corn tortilla. Just like you will find in Chicago. This fact brought a tear to my eye with my first bite. I immediately could taste the fact that they are serving a superior tortilla.I have tried the steak, chorizo and pork tacos. The steak are my favorite. There has been one visit where the steak was dry, but other than that one anomaly, the steak is pretty tasty. Now the chorizo is super salty, like chorizo should be. I wouldn't mind cutting the bite of the mexican sausage with some cheese. I know that is a bit gringo of me, but I think it would taste heavenly. I can't say I'm a big fan of the pineapple in the pork, but hey, to each his own. The quesadillas are small yet amazing. Perfect for the little ones. Now the salsas are easily superior to anything your will find in Florida. This is where Mazatlan knocks it out of the park. The salsa has intense flavor. Both the green and red are fantastic. I could drink the stuff from a milk jug if I could. Best of all it is free! Black Rooster could learn a thing or two from this place. Now I will admit the tacos are on the pricey side. Three tacos and a coke are going to run you about 14$. I'm willing to pay the price for a slice of home. I do wish the kid at the window had a bit more spark or personality. All in all Tacos Mazatlan makes the world a better place. I wish them good fortune.

The food here today was excellent. I and my two friends really enjoyed the quesadillas and tacos since we tried a little bit of everything. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the workers are not friendly and do not smile. So the customer service is not warm and welcoming but the food sure is good. I would definitely come back but hopefully they will be smiling this time. Or at least act like they want customers.
