Tacos and tequila is one of my favorite neighborhood go-to's. It needed a little work getting up and running and really good on its feet after the transition. I think they have finally found their groove and we will continue to enjoy the yummy food off the expensive menu but in an updated atmosphere. The bright colors and cozy booths make it perfect for dates, family, or group dinners.There's always something for everyone in the family. My new favorite item is the birria soup (the lunch portion is huge). Our server was delightful and she had so many great recommendations. The fajitas are always yummy and you have to love a good sizzle!!!! Hoping you have as good of an experience as I/we do and I hope you find a new favorite item off the menu too.

We arrived around 6:30-7pm on a Friday night and it was very busy. We were just a party of two and we seated within about 10 minutes. Our server was very kind and super sweet and we ordered a couple of drinks to start.My husband got the Carne Asada and I opted for the Meri y Terri. Both were excellent. Because of how busy they were, you could definitely tell that their kitchen was in the weeds as it did take a much longer time for the food to come out then in the past, but the food was excellent.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Salsa was SO fresh and yummy. Prices were on point for the location. Most things seemed prepared as ordered. Only issue was my husbands plate never came out until the rest of the table was done eating. They messed up his order and as soon as the waitress set the food down she saw the mistake - an allergy mistake so she immediately removed it from the table. Came over 4x to say "sir it's coming right out" and it took over 30 min. So he did not even finish his food bc he felt bad about us waiting so long for him. No apology or convenience offered by any of the staff. Had a nice looking outdoor space but too cold to sit out there. Good parking. Cash or card. Bathroom onsite.

I randomly stopped by this restaurant, and it happened to be Taco Tuesday! $3 tacos and $5 margaritas (real margaritas that don't taste like syrup). Simple but authentic tacos. Looking forward to going again. It's in a plaza, so not easy to view from the road; but give it a try. Quiet restaurant, filled with booths and a bar. The waitress/ bartender was attentive; I enjoyed my lunch.

I love this place! Always good dinner and the best margaritas. I recommend the watermelon margarita. This time I decided I wanted something small so just got the app sampler. So much food. They always serve big portions. The sampler had jalepeno poppers which were in need of more cheese but a good crunch, beef nachos with their amazing queso, chicken flautas which were so full of chicken, and one of the best cheese quesadillas I have ever had. I need to come for dessert some time. I hear their flan is amazing.

The wife and I decided to try this place for her birthday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We started with the birria nachos that were loaded with meat and tasted delicious. We also order mixed drinks that were also good. For both of our meals we had the tacos. My wife had taco supremes and I had street tacos. To top it off, they gave my wife a shot of Tequila as they and Happy Birthday. We most definitely will be back.

I like to go to lunch late, it was 2:30 PM when I arrived. The dining room had multiple tables available. There were two parties of four at this time of day. I placed my order for chili rellenos after being served the chips and salsa. Drink menu offered a Paloma.... My new favorite. The cheese rellenos arrived, and though hot, it held two bars of unmelted cheese. I pulled those out and set aside. The chili was also covered in melted cheese so it was not missed. Beans and rice are phenomenal! As I ate the dining room filled with an additional four parties ready to enjoy a late lunch. Will go back to try the tamales and enchiladas!...and a Paloma!

The absolute best Mexican restaurant in the world!!!!! My husband and I frequent Tacos & Tequila every Tuesday and occasionally a few other nights a week. On Tuesday, you can't beat their taco and margarita specials. You can get a street taco for $3 or a supreme taco for $3.50. Margaritas are only $5 and are generously made! The birria tacos are my favorite, but there are several options to choose from and you can't go wrong with any! While their house salsa is amazing, their avocado salsa is the best salsa I have ever had. It is SPICY!!! though, so be prepared. While their tacos are delicious and phenomenal, the casa special is my favorite thing on the menu. With so many flavors, you can't go wrong with this classic Mexican dish. Good deals, great service, and tasty food!

We met some friends to try this place for dinner and WOW our whole party was extremely impressed with this place! They said they margaritas were some of the best they had had. We started with queso fundido, which was amazing and that crunchy burnt cheese left in the skillet? Definitely scrape that up with your fork and don't leave it behind. SO good. And now for the main event! Shame on me, I didn't get a single picture, it was that good we just dug right in. Taquitos - great portion, the shredded beef was nice + tender, great flavor. The sauce that comes smothered on top was a green sauce with an explosion of different flavors, SO good. Pozole - out of this world. Broth with also a great depth of flavors + a nice amount of spice. Tender chunks of pork that just melted in your mouth... it was phenomenal Chimichanga- delicious, great portion, great flavorCarne asada - yum! Tender, marinated very well and also an explosion of flavors. Overall, every single entree was something we would order again and I already want to go back there and eat! Desserts - DO IT. We got the dulce de leche churros + a fried ice cream. Both amazing. The churros had these little pockets of dulce de leche in the middle, gah... don't pass them up!

So we have been going to Tacos & Tequila since it was the previous name (same owners, food, different name). The food quality has always been very good. They have a nice size menu and authentic Mexican. Don't forget the drinks or smoothies; yum!The service is awesome. We also order take out or delivery. Not delivery is routed via DoorDash but until the point of handoff; they are very good and friendly. Ambiance is fairly loud, friendly place with authentic Mexican feel. Cool place to hang out, bring family or a date.
