This is a locals only place that I walked to from my hotel. So thankful to have found it. Pretty much give you the meat and tortilla then you get to dress up however you like with the salsa bar! Would come back again!

Taco Norteño is a weekly favorite for my husband and me. We always do takeout and typically order tacos--usually a mix of carne asada and al pastor. While the carne asada can be a bit dry, the al pastor is consistently flavorful, so it's my go-to.Another standout is the nachos. The portion is huge, often lasting a couple of days. I've also tried the al pastor torta, which was tasty but a little too greasy and cheesy for me to get regularly.I always get a side of beans and rice. They're not necessarily my favorite and can be inconsistent, but they're good enough to save as leftovers. What really sets Taco Norteño apart is the salsa bar. There are so many options, and over time, I've figured out which salsas pair best with each dish. It's honestly keeps us coming back. While some dishes aren't perfect, Taco Norteño offers great flavors and generous portions making it a reliable takeout spot for us!

"Hole in the wall" kind of feel but then also is like a fast-food Mexican style vibe.Friendly and lots of seating with inside and 3 tables outside. Sauce bar!!! With toppings such as salsas and cilantro & onions..And get-it-yourself chips inside. (Dine-in only)My family and I enjoyed the tacos, asada was our favorite out of the meat options. The rice & beans were good. The horchata was a miss for me unfortunately, it tasted a little soapy? Nobody wanted to drink it and I was upset I spent $5 on it so I was really trying to like it but it wasn't working...Overall, it was priced a little more than the "street" tacos we usually get, but I'm sure the overhead/restaurant bills are rough now too so I will support when I can.

Taco Norteno is a little building on West Colonial Drive (State Road 50) in Winyet Garden, Florida that would be easy to miss. However, if you were to miss it, you would miss out on a great place for tacos and other Mexican favorites. The ordering process is that you order at a counter and they give you a number (kind of like a barbecue place) and you grab a table. They bring you your food (and I will say in a quick amount of time). I encourage that you swing by the salsa bar table and help yourself to their variety of salsas, onions, cilantro, etc. and properly dress your taco. I also like that they had sour cream and lettuce if you happen to like an Americanized taco. I personally am not a fan, but I know a lot who prefer to add lettuce and sour cream. The tacos here are definitely Solis and they are decently priced. The tacos are about three dollars a piece. I saw a burrito at a table next to me and the burritos looked good, as well.I definitely recommend this place for some solid Mexican food and I give it five stars.

Ordered one of my usuals not thinking twice until I got the cost :/ they have always been reasonably priced but... and this was one of the selling points for me because the really is no ambiance. When she said 18. For a burrito and a small drink it caught me off guard. At this point I can go eat at Azteca for less with fantastic ambiance and great food. Unfortunately they have priced me out :(

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. The ambiance is just plain restaurant with a tv. Nothing fancy. Plain seasoned entrees with avocado. There is a stand with a variety of sauces and lime. I had grilled chicken and onions with rice and pinto beans. Had avocado and lettuce and tomato with corn tortillas. My son had an assortment of tacos. He really like Mexican food. My meal was average. I never know what to order. Prices are reasonable. Service is fast and friendly. Had an assortment of me I an beers and soft drinks. It was fresh and tasty

While in Orlando first time visiting, and I enjoyed the spot almost decided not to come, but a friend who frequents here suggested the tacos, which definitely did not disappoint. You can pick any of your protein. They offer options of hard shell, soft corn or flour tacos. what I enjoyed most was the condiments buffet for you to top your tacos and other food. The tacos were very tasty and seasoned.

There prices have almost doubled in the last year and a half. This was our favorite mexican restaurant. I understand inflationary pressure but we can't justify paying $15 for a Torta that was $8 not that long ago.

The plate I ordered was terrible. Steak Ranchero w/ rice and beans. Rice and beans was ok, the steak was a different matter. I didn't care for it. They have a big salsa assortment in a salsa bar. I don't think I'll be coming back. Dining area was clean and tidy. Service staff was polite enough. Another thing your order at the counter and they have the debit card reader with an automatic 20% gratuity as the option. My $23. Plate and Mexican Coke wound up costing me $36.Definitely not worth it.
