This location somewhat recently went through a major renovation, including completely gutting the interior and upgrades to the guest dining room. The result (as least to me) is definitely a "better than average" quick service experience . . . and they still offer a late-night convenience for this part of town. For my visit I did find the dining room to be clean, and the guest area pretty organized. The food tasted just like I find at almost every Taco Bell location in most cities. It used to get some very harsh reviews, and most of those were probably deserved, but . . . I encourage anyone in the Universal Studios area to give them a second chance. I'm not a huge fan of Taco Bell in general, but I certainly will return here if the craving returns.

All around the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. The cashier didn't know why he was doing and he wasn't talking through the transaction to confirm the order he just blankly stared at us. Then half of our food was missing and when we told them it took an additional 25 minutes to get the rest of our food (meanwhile no one was in the lobby or drive thru). And once we did finally get our food, it was wrong. Absolutely terrible.

Reading other reviews, I seem to be far from alone. I pulled into this Taco Bell at 11:24 PM. It is now 11:58. Why am I still in this line? Why hasn't this line moved? These are the questions I'm pondering now instead of larger life altering questions. This stinks. Be better. Care. Or, shut down and find people that do. Awful. This is my literal last time giving this location my money. PS. It is now midnight.

The cashier that helped me drive through her name was Joe, great personality, and very genuine. This means she really cares about her job and cares about every guest that are coming into the store and also coming to drive up. For the morning that I was having she boosted my spirits. I would never come here again. I went around 10 PM and all we did was wait. Once we got to order she had told us that we need to wait. Once she was ready to take our order, we informed her that we have two orders and then she proceeded to tell us to wait again. Finally once we ordered we went to the window and BIG SURPRISE.... We had to wait again:/ 0/10 experience
