Our small trio stopped in here for dinner tonight while here for work at a conference down the street. The location in Ivanhoe Village is excellent. It is centrally placed near plenty of other places to grab a drink or bite to eat and also to enjoy the lake. It is a more intimate place with maybe ten tables, and it has a great view of the kitchen and sushi bar. Our group ordered some miso soup, the shrimp dumplings (Shrimp Shumai) and a hand full of of rolls - Mango Tango (without cream cheese), Heaven, spicy tuna, and California. They all came out beautifully presented on a wood platter. Everything we had was delicious! The Mango Tango roll had the sweetest mango pieces perfectly paired with the salmon. The classic spicy tuna and California roll were fresh and on point. The Heaven roll had the coconut shrimpIn the middle of the roll mixed with some avocado. All around excellent service and delicious food! There are plenty of non-sushi options as well such as Japanese dishes or noodle soups. Ta-Ke has some of the most adventurous types of sushi, but they are well worth the try.

Always wanted to try this place! In such a nice and cute area of town, Ivanhoe Village! There is street parking out front. The restaurant itself is tiny! Intimate little place, super cool. Only about 30 seats or so, but more tables outside. I placed a Togo order and it was ready quick. I had 2 spicy tuna tolls. The prices were excellent and very affordable!! The presentation was nice, but I think overall the flavor just wasn't there. I usually order spicy tuna roll everywhere I go and I think this ranked lower on my list. I might try something else next time I come. Service was quick and friendly. Give it a try!

don't be in a hurry when you get here. It's fairly slow service so you can enjoy yourself. Slow down, relax. It is a very chill environment. Inside it has welcoming shapes, and colors. You will like the inside style of this place. It's very relaxing.

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to get sushi. Whenever I am craving sushi I always make sure to stop by. I have been coming here for almost 4 years and I will continue to stop by. Their staff has become like family to us. We started off with Jimmy as our server everyday who we love!!! He is always so welcoming! We now have Kathy as our server each time we come & she has been so amazing, always so friendly and so sweet! The ambiance is very calming, great for a date night. I always RAVE about this place because it is truly one of my favorite places to grab a bite.

Nice little hole in the wall place. Had some indoor and some outdoor seating. Prices are very reasonable and the food tasted good. My husband had a Lion King Roll which was brought to our table lit on fire! It was really yummy! He also had a Tonkatsu Ramen, the flavor of the broth was delicious, the noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork was tender and flavorful as well and lastly I had a Mushu Roll. The Mushu roll definitely had a kick to it so if you like a bit of spice to your food this roll is for you! Nice little gem for a quick bite. The only downside I can mention is trying to find street parking is a bit of a challenge but don't let that stop you from trying this place!

Another 5 star experience at Ta-Ke! The staff here were accommodating of our last minute large party, and I couldn't be happier with our choice to return here. Some highlights were the lion king roll and the double trouble roll. The staff were more than accommodating to our special requests and changes to items, and were very timely and attentive to us. When you come here, you MUST get the house salad with ginger dressing. We were drinking the dressing with a spoon - no joke! The ambiance is intimate and personal and overall a great place to spend time with friends / family and enjoy a tasty meal accompanied by great service.
