This place is always slammed for a good reason. The food here is so good. Taste just like I'm back in Hawaii. The mocha Loco is spot on. I always get mine without eggs since I'm allergic and they are always happy to accommodate. The musubi is also one of my favorites here although I did not get that last night since the local local plate is so big. I am a big fan of their macaroni salad and requested two scoops of that and just one scoop of rice and again they were happy to accommodate. It was the perfect meal to end my day. Will definitely be coming back.

We were interested to try some Hawaiian food and saw this place in Henry's depot. I liked the way the stall was set up. The lady at the stall was helpful with explaining the menu to us.We really enjoyed the food. I will say the Sandwich doesn't come with anything so the plate is a better deal. The Sandwich was so good though and there was a big piece of chicken on there. I really enjoyed the spicy katsu chicken plate too.. they give you plenty of food. The Mac salad was good. I didn't think it was too spicy either just right. I would come here again and try their other menu items.

Coming from San Jose with many awesome Hawaiian options, I was starved for anything in Port Orange where I am now. So being in Sanford and spotting this place with great reviews - oh man, I was stoked and ready to love this place. Well, the location is super cool keeping it from 1 star. It's a converted train station and pretty much an adult food court. Nice bar at one end and quite a few different cuisines available. But for my experience at this Hawaiian joint, I ordered loco moco. It's traditionally a ground steak patty on top of rice with brown gravy and a fried sunny side up egg on top. Usually savory goodness. Well, it took an extremely long time to prepare. And when I finally picked up and dug in, it was thoroughly burnt. Couldn't really taste the gravy, egg, or beef beyond the char. Seems like they're most proud of their chicken, so I clearly didn't order their specialty. Best recommendation I can say is if this is your first Hawaiian food experience, the loco moco is not representative of how good it can be.I might try this place again one day to give the chicken or Kahlua pork a shot but current desire is greatly deflated.

I had dinner here today. I had the huli huli tofu plate. It was good. I liked the sauce on the tofu. I was so happy to have a vegetarian (plant based) protein option. It was ready in 15-20 minutes but that is ok since it was made fresh.

Sweet and Salty Island Grindz stays true to its name with their ridiculously flavorful menu that they undoubtedly took their time to curate from the ground up!My girlfriend and I were instantly drawn to this little restaurant during our stroll through Henry's Depot. The food sounded amazing and the menu was very easy to read and understand so we decided to give it a try despite the countless other options we had to choose from at this bustling food haul. The worker at the front was very friendly and patient with us as well! Since I am allergic to dairy I couldn't have the mac salad that came with my dish and the worker, without me asking, said that she could substitute it for either more rice or an extra Hawaiian roll and that was awesome! I felt cared for and attended to and made me that much excited to dig into their food!Once we got our food we were instantly blown away by just the way the food looked! I ordered the katsu chicken plate and when I tell you, their chicken slathered in their tonkotsu sauce was so good it was to die for. Each bite made my mouth water and crave for more!We honestly couldn't say one bad thing about this place. Service was amazing and food was mouthwatering to the point where I forgot about the busy ambiance that was all around this food haul. I was so locked into eating my food that I felt like I was transported to another world. Can't wait to go back, definitely my go-to restaurant at Henry's Depot!!

Sweet & Salty Island Grindz located in Henry's Depot is a Sanford local favorite! The food is soooo good, full of flavor and is made to order so always comes out hot! The service is great! The server was friendly and welcoming. I tried the Hot Butter Chicken Katsu Sandwich as recommended and is viral on TikTok, it was amazing! I'm definitely revisiting and will likely have this again! There's indoor and outdoor seating. I sat inside to enjoy the people watching.

This place hits the spot every time 10 out of 10. But to be honest I have not tried all their menu yet. Here we have the Hot Butter Chicken Katsu sandwich; this is my favorite. When it first came out there was a line 100 people long before they opened so I didn't try it, but been back several times after and it does not disappoint. Can see the chicken is twice the size of the bun, and flavor wise is delicious too, and for $15, I'm quite content. This is inside Henry's Depot food hall which has several good options. Can even have coffee and desert from different places on the same sitting. So come over and have a great bite, and save room for ice cream.

I mean you got to give them credit for being one of the few Hawaiian spots out here in Florida. Found this place on Yelp and the location is inside Henry's Depot. Lots of parking and seating inside. Henry's Depot has other stalls in there, like ramen, pizza, coffee, sandwiches. A little bit of everything for everyone. My boyfriend and I ordered two Kalua pork lunch plates that came with two scoops of white rice, mac salad and a Hawaiian roll. The food didn't take too long to come out. When we opened our plates, the portions seemed a bit too small for something that costs $15-17. The Kalua pork was very ginger forward, and had like this sweet, bbq sauce mixed in with it. I was expecting Kalua pork like on Hawaii Island where it's more like shredded pork with cabbage. I didn't get much of a banana leaf taste either... just sweet BBQ sauce. The mac salad was average. The white rice had a good consistency though, very sticky.Overall - it was OK. We'll probably give it another shot with the Huli Huli chicken. I lived in Hawaii for five years so my expectations were a little bit too high. At least it's similar back home.

This counter is situated inside Henry"s Depot. I only had the Hot Butter chicken Katsu sandwich but it as very good. Not a date food. Very messy but delicious. It is about a 3 out of 10 on the spicy scale. The sandwich is huge. I took half of it home. The woman taking orders was very friendly and the food came out quickly even though they were busy. I will be going back.

We love the Huli Huli chicken plate. The chicken is so tender and the sauce is addictive. The portion size is enough for 2 people, however you'll want your own plate.
