Food is great, price is reasonable, and the service is quick.They do a great job at accommodating my shellfish allergy. I love that they have an area with low traditional tables. They also have regular tables and booths. Open until pretty late

By far one of the worst sushi restaurants around. Passed by this place everyday and wanted to give it a shot... never ever again. Let's just start off with the hand roll... was suppose to get a spicy tuna hand roll but instead I got two THIN slices of tuna and a roll with mainly hard white rice (picture is included). We ordered the edamame and it was mushy and came out after my sushi. You can tell it was thrown into a microwave We got the Vanessa roll and black jack roll - again mouth full of rice and little to no fish. Definitely not sushi rice but hard dry white rice! I also don't understand why there was a side salad served with the Vanessa roll - never seen that combination before. I guess they just throwing anything on to the plate. business must be rough but trying to be cheap on your fish isn't going to bring anyone back. Or the sushi chefs just don't know how to roll properly because my goodness look at that sushi roll...Service was subpar at best.. our waitress never came back after sushi was dropped but she was really quick to bring the check when we had to asked another server. Either way, now I know why this place always look dead on the weekends... better sushi places down the street!

Unfortunately I was disappointed by this place as a sushi lover . When you walk in it is very cute with cute word lights . Me and my friends each for an appetizer and a roll . I got the firecracker shrimp was was basically just buffalo shrimp not what I would expect at a sushi place . My friend got the crab croquettes did not taste like crab Rangoon at all and was just mostly cheese . The rolls came out sloppy and not put together in a nice aesthetic way . My roll was very basic and not as expected . They also tried to charge 1$ for shrimp sauce ??? At a sushi place.

I absolutely love this place! The location in Winter Park is awesome, and the decor is gorgeous with dimmed lights and neon signs giving it great vibes.I had the krabstick salad and the spicy tuna roll, and both were delicious. The ingredients were super fresh, and everything was perfectly prepared and seasoned. It's the first time I've been to a sushi spot where I asked for a riceless roll and got exactly what I wanted. So happy they could make that happen!Given the cool atmosphere and amazing food, I expected the prices to be way higher, but they were just right (though still on the higher end).The service was great too. Our server gave us fantastic recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.Highly recommend Sushi Sake and can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

I came here for lunch with my coworker. I have been here before. The inside of the restaurant is very cute. I love the floor seating they have available. This is more of a fusion restaurant than an authentic Japanese restaurant. They play reggaeton here, I was surprised but enjoyed it. The staff here were nice and quick.I got the Hibachi Shrimp Lunch Special. It came with a Miso soup which was okay. The fried rice was good with the white sauce and I enjoyed the shrimp. The food tastes like if you were to make hibachi at home. Not bad but not quite the same.I don't think I will be returning here. The food is not bad but not great. Just doesn't taste authentic, not that it claims to be but it also does not have its own twist that makes it good.

We've been wanting to visit Sushi Sake for some time now and finally got to go for lunch. The experience was good overall. Our waitress, Bella, was amazing! She was nice and fast. The interior is a vibe and the aesthetic is nice. Plus, their chairs are super comfortable. For appetizers, we got the krab Rangoon croquettes and the tuna tartare on tostones. The appetizers were five stars! Absolutely gorgeous, flavorful, and a great portion size. The croquettes were warm with a beautiful crisp outside and gooey meaty inside. The flavor was rich and the sauce and cremas served with it really elevated the flavors. The tostones were perfection and the tartare was so bright and fresh. These two dishes were truly stunning. Perhaps the appetizers being so stellar got my expectations too high, but we were a little underwhelmed with our entrees. I got the spicy conch roll. We also had the chicken hibachi, angel roll, and stir fried noodles. The spicy conch roll was very plain and nothing too special. It was good, but the conch was a little chewy and the overall flavor was simple. The noodles had a flavor that I couldn't quite place and didn't love. The chicken hibachi was definitely the favorite. While everything was fine, it didn't wow me the way I hoped it would. There is a lot of good sushi in this area, so while my roll was perfectly fine, it wasn't a stand out compared to others.Additionally, there was only one waitress servicing the entire dining room during lunch, so service lagged a bit just because one person was doing everything. Sushi Sake is a good spot. A little more flare and an extra server would resolve any apprehension at calling this a 5 star spot.

This place is a very quaint, classy, and dimly lit restaurant. This was my first time here and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful in letting us know everything we needed to know from the dishes to the wine selection. We chose the Miami heat roll and spider roll with fried rice. Both rolls were good but the Miami Heat stole the show, it was a hot and tasty roll. I never had a roll that tastes quite like that. The fried rice is a regular side dish but it was sooo good! The rice was so soft and flavorful, I could've eaten it by itself and be happy with that. The wine was also very tasty and unique. This place was a win win, no complaints. Great dinner date or family dinner spot. I can't wait to try more of the unique rolls.

I went all the way to Houston and met a lady that told me about this place, o couldn't wait to try it when I got back.The decor is really nice, this place can easily be a nice date spot. I ordered:Lobster Roll Chef's Specialty Roll with Lobster Temp, Asparagus, Cucumber and Avocado Topped with Our Special Crunch, Tobiko and a Touch of Spicy Mayo & Eel SaucePineapple Fried RiceSteak and Shrimp sautéed with Pineapple Everything was delicious, the service was just ok, nothing stood out and I didn't feel appreciated, even though there was barely anyone in there I didn't feel well tended to. The food is 5 stars service 3.

I've been craving sushi while pregnant (of course) and we decided to order takeout from Sushi Sake since they have lots of fully cooked/non-raw roll options available. I went with the Angel roll (shrimp tempura, krab salad, masago, cream cheese, topped with avocado, spicy mayo, eel sauce and crunchies. The roll had good textures and definitely scratched that sushi itch. My husband got the Kendall roll (tuna, hamachi, salmon, white fish, krabstick, masago, and avocado) which he really enjoyed. We also got an order of the chicken fried rice to share. One roll each doesn't usually satisfy us, but we were surprisingly full and had the rice leftover for the next day. There's definitely a lot of other menu items that I would have preferred over what I got, so I'm excited to give them another try once baby arrives and I can eat all the raw things again.

Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Food is consistently good both dine in and carry out. A little pricey however
