We celebrated our anniversary at Sushi Saint, and it was an unforgettable experience!Hand Rolls & Maki: Got Uni, spicy tuna, eel, scallop hand rolls. The hand rolls were perfection--warm, crisp seaweed enveloping the freshest fish imaginable. Each bite felt handcrafted with love. The maki rolls were equally stunning, with creative combinations of flavors and textures.Service: Impeccable and probably the best out of thousands of restaurants we have been to together. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed excited to help us celebrate our special day. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert and champagne! Thank you Josh and Victoria for making it special.Atmosphere: Elegant, yet cozy. The lighting was soft and romantic, and the minimalist decor added to the zen-like vibe. It was intimate without being pretentious--a perfect backdrop for our celebration.Sushi Saint exceeded all our expectations. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a high-quality sushi experience, this is the place to go. We can't wait to return!

We had high expectations for Sushi Saint after seeing it featured in the Michelin Guide, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. My fiancé visited for Valentine's Day, anticipating top-tier sushi, but the quality did not live up to the hype. We tried the Crunchy Spicy Tuna, Truffle Salmon, and Crab & Wagyu Maki, but none of them impressed. The sushi tasted overly fishy, which raised concerns about freshness and quality something that should be a given at this price point. The Crab & Wagyu Maki felt like an unique combination but didn't blend well, the Truffle Salmon was overpowered by truffle rather than enhancing the fish, and the Crunchy Spicy Tuna lacked depth in flavor. For a place with Michelin recognition, we expected more refined flavors and better ingredient quality. While the ambiance and service were decent, the food itself the most important part just didn't deliver. Given the Michelin mention and the premium pricing, we hoped for a more exceptional dining experience. Unfortunately, we wouldn't return based on this visit.

To start, we came for happy hour and were seated very quickly at the bar, which was recommended by the hostess for first timers. We were handed the main menu but not the happy hour one despite it being happy hour time (?). We ordered the Ave Maria set, szechuan cucumbers, and a hamachi maki. The hand rolls are truly amazing. All the flavors worked so well together and the fish was extremely fresh. The cucumbers were also the star of the show because we basically licked the plate clean of the chili oil. We had ordered the hamachi maki off of the happy hour menu (a screenshot we found online), but to our surprise we got back a hamachi wasabi roll which was still very delicious. Well...so we thought it was hamachi. One of the chefs handed us another roll explaining that the first one was messed up and was salmon. We told him it was ok and didn't mind the mess up. Since everything was so delicious we went ahead and asked for a to go order of the hamachi maki, salmon maki, and szechuan cucumbers. We paid the bill and left, but when we got home there were a few surprises. First, we did not realize that the fresh wasabi was $8. When the waitress had come over asking us if we wanted fresh wasabi we just assumed it was a normal part of the meal. Next, the waiter misunderstood us when we said hamachi maki and instead we were charged for the hamachi wasabi roll. When we opened our to go box there were 3 maki rolls and no cucumber which was quite disappointing. The rolls were very small which is normal for maki but was a little confusing because of what we received and the misunderstanding in the restaurant. I really want to give this place another chance because the food was that delicious. I'm hoping that was just an off day for them

This was an amazing hand roll place! The scallops, salmon, and blue fin hand rolls were my favorite. The fish was so soft and yummy. I prefer the hand rolls because it had more flavor-compared to the spicy tuna roll. The Japanese elote had interesting flavors but a must try. Our waiter was very friendly and kind the whole time. It was a relaxing and chill vibe in there.

It is located in an unexpected warehouse type location, next to Valencia College for Accelerated Training. Parking is limited; I don't like to pay for parking, so I avoided the lot, & found a space on the street. The decor inside is okay, but not great, just okay. The waitress was nice, but 18% gratuity is automatically tacked on the bill. Sashimi appetizer is tasty, extremely slightly seared with cilantro micro-greens. Sushi roll was okay. Service was fast. It's okay. I wouldn't return unless for the 12 course dinner which we're all sold out for today. Ordering a la cart is overpriced, not worth it in my opinion. The fish broth with a slight miso flavor & lime zest was complimentary & a nice surprise. Overall it's overpriced though. I was a half hour late for the lunch special.

We've been going to sushi Saint pretty regularly. I love their space and decorations, and their service is always really good. I think I prefer sitting at the bar to the lounge - even though the lounge has more appetizer options, there's something so nice about being right there where the action is. Their drinks haven't really been my thing (I usually go for light and refreshing and most of their drinks are heavy and/or very sweet). Recently, we tried their Tako fritters, and they were really good! I'd love to say we'll keep coming back here regularly, but I'm starting to struggle with their pricing - the last couple of times we visited, we've been spending the same amount and leaving hungry. I'm not sure if our appetites have grown, but I've found that we can go to Seito or Totoya and spend the same amount and leave perfectly full. It's hard to justify, no matter how fresh and delicious the food is. I love this place, and I know I'll be back eventually, but the era of being a regular is coming to a close.

Soseki, but weren't fans of the hot food there, so we were interested to try this hand-roll concept. The location is a bit funky, in the back of an industrial building off a parking lot, but the interior is nice. It's divided into several distinct areas, including booths, a sushi counter, and a private room. We sat at the counter. The secret to hand rolls is temperature and timing. The rice must be at the perfect temperature, the nori wrapper fresh from the warming box to ensure its crispness, and the whole assemblage delivered within seconds. Sushi Saint excels at this. And unlike other hand roll concepts we've tried, this is definitely not an assemblage place where the rolls are largely constructed from already prepared tartares. Here they are delicately assembled one ingredient at a time, and the results show the difference. There are a number of preset combos that are slightly less expensive than ordering ala carte, but once you know your favorites it's easy to order just those. We started with a wonderful sunomono. The cucumber was elevated by the inclusion of onions and ginger. Our favorite rolls were:Akami Hamachi SalmonIkura Unagi The wine list focuses on sakes, but there are also several wines and sake-based cocktails.Service was fast and friendly.

I had a great dinner here. We happened to arrive during happy hour, and it was the perfect time to enjoy some great food and drinks. When we first arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant, though one other guest came in while we were eating. It wasn't crowded at all, even though it was a weekday around 6 PM.The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful--definitely one of the best I've had in a while. We also tried the corn appetizer, which was delicious and packed with flavor. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but with happy hour specials, it felt much more reasonable. The ambiance is beautiful--very aesthetically pleasing and relaxing, and the staff was friendly and attentive. One thing to note: they don't offer typical sushi condiments like eel sauce or shrimp sauce, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi in a laid-back atmosphere!

Finally got to try this place after having it on my list since they opened. I went here with my cousin for her birthday. The experience was worth every penny! The A la carte menu was amazing! We tried a bunch of hand rolls and appetizers and it was awesome. The lounge area was very nice. I love the contemporary/art deco vibe with Japanese decor. The cucumber appetizers we had were very good! The samurai ones, with the chili crisps were my favorite. The cool flavor of the cucumbers with the spicy chili was perfect. The hand rolls we had were amazing too! The Wagu melted in your mouth when you chewed it, it was perfect. My favorite hand roll. Besides, that was the tofu, which was surprisingly amazing.I would definitely recommend this place for a girls night out or a bougie treat yourself meal

Good spot but not as informative and thorough with explanations during the dining experience. I don't eat sushi frequently and I would've appreciate a little more guidance. Nice space overall though- clean, bright interior, good bar seating. Not busy on Sunday afternoon so it was a nice stop for a quick, small bite. I liked the edamame and I got the 3 roll platter (vegetarian). Ginger and wasabi optional adders round out the flavors nicely.
