First time at Sushi99! The ambiance is very modern and restaurant was very clean. Our waitress was very nice but not very attentive. We were there at 2 o'clock so it's was not very busy. We started with miso soup that was brought to our table, very hot and tasted good!We requested a holiday roll that was delicious! Our table had the phoenix specialty roll and a sweetheart roll! Both were large portions, we had to take some of it home! Overall I was very pleased!

We did not eat there, we attempted to order via GrubHub+. We were at my son's house in Port Orange. An order was dropped off just before the delivery time, but it was a much smaller order. Our order was nearly $150 and this order was only 2 items.We tried contacting GrubHub who just wanted to issue a refund and be done with it, but we were hungry. GrubHub attempted to contact the driver and the restaurant and then after having us on hold for quite a while said they still suggest a refund and can't reach the driver.We called Sushi 99 on Dunlawton and they were so friendly and accommodating!!! They redid our order, ready in 15-20 minutes. This time we picked it up ourselves!To the food - this sushi was all very fresh and the sashimi cuts were generous. We got the Sashimi Deluxe, spicy tuna roll, (both in "the other order") and the following: 3. Yellowtail Roll4. Spicy Tuna Roll10. Alaska Roll11. Spicy Scallop Roll5. Salmon Skin & Cucumber Roll12. Spicy Scallop Sushi (very generous topping, could not fit in my mouth!)8. Rainbow Roll - large and fresh6. Conch sashimi23. Amazing Roll - probably our favorite with eelThey were out of spicy tobiko unfortunately.I recommend all these selections. Except maybe the conch. As usual exceeded expectations for takeout. Fresh, large, and unique rolls. I'm currently in my happy food coma after a great takeout order. Beautiful presentation even with takeout! I'm so happy the quality and consistency continues at this location. Plus huge thank you for putting in a few cheaters and low sodium soy! This made life easier for the kids and is my preferred soy. Most sushi places never hand out low sodium soy for takeout, so it's much appreciated!

I absolutely love the sushi at sushi 99. We've been to several different sushi restaurants in the area, and sushi 99 is our favorite. Flavors are great along with the white sauce. We always get the food quickly and with any changes we requested. Love getting the clear soup when we dine in. 10/10

Been going there since they opened but tonite sealed a no go again for me. A server that couldn't understand English which lead to a rare steak order being served well done and tough. Second server.... Still not a rare steak. Not good to piss off locals
