Sunshine Diner is an incredibly cute, chic, and clean place to grab a bite while you wait around at MCO. Prices are definitely steep for diner meals, but the good service makes up for it. I definitely recommend going in with average diner expectations for food quality, and you won't be disappointed. And as for a budget... I'll say I spent almost $40 on just breakfast and a drink. Overall, I would definitely stop back if I had time to kill and an empty stomach.

Arrived early? Got through security quickly? Hungry, teetering on hangry? Caffeine deficit? Needing a Mimosa? Make sure you head to the Sunshine Diner by Art Smith. Located in the departures of Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. It's across gate 236. The Diner has a quick to go market and a side for table service. There is ample seating, varied with tables and booths. Singles, doubles or groups. The hostess sat us and promptly our server came over & took our drink orders, coffee, water and apple juice. The menu has plenty of options, platters, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and oatmeal. Lunch sandwiches and specialty drinks, mimosas, lattes and teas. My husband ordered baconeggandcheese, made with 3 scrambled, eggs and very crispy bacon, on a brioche bun. It is served with home fries. I got the Jose's breakfast sandwich, sunny side up egg, caremalized onions, avocado and bacon, on a croissant. Also served with home fries. Both sandwiches are good, the scrambled eggs are fluffy, the avocado fresh, the bun and croissant are toasted. The coffee was just ok. The service, excellent, attentive, friendly, efficient and quick. The prices range from $17 and up.

As far as airport food goes, it was pretty good. We only had a Cuban sandwich and an empanada but they both were pretty tasty. The food came out fast and the service was good. A nice lunch before having to grab the plane back home. The restaurant was nice and bright it was very welcoming. For those who like breakfast all day, this may be your spot.

Let's be honest: no one ever expects fine dining when we are talking about airport food. Located in Terminal C in MCO, the Sunshine Diner by chef Art Smith is a great option for fresh, restaurant quality food at relatively decent prices. I ordered the chopped salad, which was mixed greens topped with shredded cheese, roasted corn, red onions, bacon, cherry tomatoes, avocado, a sliced hard boiled egg, and topped with balsamic vinaigrette. The portion size was impressive, as was the freshness of all the ingredients. It was prepared quickly (important for airport dining) and my server was pleasant. I also got a bloody mary which was fine. The next time you're in the new Terminal C at MCO, make sure to spend your layover at the Sunshine Diner.

A really decent stop for food in Terminal C! Chef Art's reputation holds up here for me - while of course Homecoming at Disney Springs has superior quality and experience, this little airport restaurant was just what I needed! I had a Cobb salad and added coconut shrimp as the protein - the shrimp were delicious, and the salad was loaded with ingredients, not skimpy at all! I would definitely come back to try breakfast here, which seems to be their staple. Service was quick, which is always appreciated at the airport!

My niece's flight was delayed and we needed dinner. Lucky enough, her gate was by Sunshine Diner. I knew immediately we were going to eat there because I love Homecomin in Disney Springs. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of the same great drinks on the menu that Homecomin has, like the peach moonshine. The food menu is a little limited, but they have friend chicken, biscuits and mac and cheese, which are some of my favorites from Homecomin. I ended up going the healthy route and I ordered a salad and my niece ordered a cheeseburger. The salad was really fresh, it was a big portion and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions by removing certain ingredients. Even though we weren't in a rush, we were in and out in under 30 minutes.Whether I'm flying out of terminal C, or accompanying a minor, like my niece, I will definitely eat at Sunshine Diner again!

I really had a nice quiet time here i enjoyed it here. Good service good food the ambiance of a wonderful open space to the airport and it was different but enjoyable. Pleasant atmosphere. Very cozy place. I recommend this place if you just want something simple great menu options i love it because its better the franchise dull same old shit franchise food.I want to thank Tim my waiter who made my dining experience excellent Tim is a very valuable employee to sunshine dinner his work ethics are excellent he has good knowledge of the menu. I'm a very picky customer. I asked them all the questions that needed to be answered and he answered it and I made my choice according to his recommendation and I really enjoyed the food. He is very friendly, attentive and professional, and I has a good positive personality, which is very important to any diner or anything in the food industry. Thank you Tim

While the fruit cup I received was good as well as the mimosa, the service could have been better. The waiter looked like he'd rather be somewhere else. There were virtually no gluten free options. I like breakfast places that have a fair amount of hustle and bustle - which this place had. The eggs were decent but the coffee was sub par.
