Sunrise Asian Restaurant

We've had food from Sunrise a few times over the last several years when visiting my parents in The Villages. This was our first time dining in. It was Christmas day, and we appreciated that they were open and had a variety of vegetarian options to suit our needs.The food is okay. Not great. It does the job but was missing some flavor we'd hoped for. We had vegetable how mein, vegetable fried rice, and vegetables and tofu in brown sauce. All serviceable, but nothing "wow."It's also awfully bright in there, with just a few small tables in their dining space decorated with posters of Chinese food. It's not a great atmosphere, and you'd probably be better off getting takeout.The food came out quickly. (Though they forgot an item which came later.) Not our greatest experience. There's another nearby Chinese food place we'd try before coming back here.

It is just ok!Nothing special.The shrimp fried rice was disappointing..The shrimp were minuscule and the dish had no taste.The lowmaine was soy sauce dominated.

This is a typical Asian fast food place. Menu boards above the order counter. Pictures on the walls. A view of the kitchen from the cash register. Our food tasted great. The place is clean and the noise level is normal. Prices are a little high but you get soup with your meal. We will return when we want a quick bite.

We've done take out from here twice so far and it's the best we've had in the area to date. The Good:1) Everything we've tried so far has been delicious - steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, four seasons, egg roll, hot and sour soup; 2) Our order is always ready when I get there3) Staff is super friendly 4) Bright and cheery inside and convenient locationThe Bad:1) I don't have any yet - it's the best we've tried so far and we've tried a couple since moving here

Great food. Friendly staff. A little on the pricier side then I was expecting, but it was enough food for 2 meals. Great location to our new neighborhood.My kids love the area so having good Chinese is a plus.

This is THE BEST Chinese place in sumter county and all the villages. I've tried them all. This is it. Service, food, warm smell and vibes. We love everything here.

I'm going with 3 stars. We got carry out. It's just your basic Chinese joint. The food was just what you would expect. The pork fried rice recipe must be written on the Great Wall, and everyone who comes to America must know it by heart. I wouldn't say anything was spectacular, but nothing was bad or smelly or not fresh. If you want the standard Chinese food carry-out options, this place is for you.

Great food. Great hard working, friendly people.I like everything especially their egg rolls, Pad Thai and Szechuan dishes.

They used to be much better. We no longer go there because there ate more vegetables in the dinners than meat. Hoping that htye go back to the way they cooked a few years ago.

Good food & different items on the menu. Service is good & very courteous. It is mostly Take Out but there are a few tables.
