This was just okay. Our server was excellent. But the menu lacks quantity and normal food items. Although the pricing was fairly cheap, it's just eh. Hard to find things to enjoy. The drink selection was large but again nothing to write home about. It's extremely loud in this restaurant.Good reminder: parties of 6 of higher gets a gratuity fee!

A piece of California has landed in Orlando's backyard. This fantastic dining location is bright and filled with plants, beautifully capturing its unique aesthetic. The restaurant is quite large and features two bars, cookie bar and multiple dining rooms. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. The cornbread was creamy, and the butter was softly whipped. While it may not be Boston, the lobster was meaty and tossed in warm butter, paired with thin fries, making it a perfect dish. Our server was friendly and attentive. We sat in the middle of the atrium, which tended to get a little loud, but we could still hear everyone's conversations at the table. This restaurant is a top choice for dining at Disney Springs.

Another great experience at this restaurant in Disney Springs. Finland was our server and she was very informed on all the gluten-free alternatives. My wife had the crispy Baja fish tacos, which she really enjoyed. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, which was quite dry and not tender. Also the portion size of the actual chicken was small. I'll be back as, in most prior visits, it was a 'home run.' Overall a great visit due to the fish tacos and the A++ service and attentiveness from Phelan.

Needed to try this new place at Disney Springs and I'm so glad we did! Service was lacking but I think that was our one particular server and not indicative of the whole. Food however was delicious!FOOD: very good! The lobster enchiladas I got were so tasty. Very surprised they were t served with rice or some accompaniment since so many of their dishes did. But the fries my wife got with her steak frites more than made up for it. The steak was also tender and delicious as was the béarnaise that came with it. I absolutely loved their lemonade potato salad deviled eggs!SERVICE: Really lacking. Portion sizes were good if not pricey and our appetizer came out long after our main course. But what really affected us was the poor service by our server. While she only checked on us once (conveniently when we were done with the meal), we saw her talking with a co-worker within sight of us but never could flag her down because she never turned her attention away from her conversation. For the cost of the meal we should've had better service. I get much better service at Waffle House and those people are BUSY! Oh and she took forever to take our order. We saw the other servers about 20 times more than we saw her.COST: Definitely pricey. Like I said the lobster enchiladas should have had a side with it. And the food in general was hit or miss on cost (the steak frites seemed like a bargain). But the food was good enough that we will be back and just hope for a better server.

This is not a bad spot to grab a bite. Anywhere in Disney Springs is going to be absolutely fucking rediculous in terms of prices ... sit down restaurants should run a credit check before you order because I think my first car cost less than dinner for four people at Springs. This spot is bo different ... $20 soups, $30 burgers and salads, $20 pancakes. The food here is good ... which is saying a lot for Springs, where most restaurants are average at Midtown Manhatten values. I had their Cobb salad ... kind of hard to fuck up ... but places often do. It was $20 before the addition of grilled chicken, which added $12.95. So after taxes and tip, it was a $40 salad. Three years ago I'd have laughed at you if you even said such a thing existed but here we are when a $40 chicken salad almost seems normal.I sat at the bar and washed down my Cobb with a few $12 local beers. Yep ... $12 each. The chicken was just okay ... I'd have done the Wagyu (rolls eyes) steak for $16 if I had it to do kvwr again. Bacon was minced and more chewy than crunchy ... dressing was horrid. It tasted like pure oil. I switched it for blue cheese dressing, which was better. The vibe here is cool ... it feels like California. Laid back, even when bustling ... open ... airy and with thumping lounge music in the background. They have a back wall of windows, which open to reveal a lake view and a patio if you want true lakeside dining. Not as good and open air as Boathouse ... but better food. The bartender/waitress was all business but very efficient and hard working. She didn't need to write down my order and it came out perfect. She delivered on all my requests.I would probably return if I was at Springs again. Due to the price and the interesring menu, I am not sure that this would appeal to all ... but on a Sunday at 11 a.m. it was packed with a long wait, so I guess it is popular. The bar all the way in the back had plenty of open seats, so if you are solo or a couple, its very likely you can skip the line and find a seat at the bar with views of the water. There is also a location in Terminal C at Orlando Airport but likely not as good.

What a lovely restaurant! The service was quick and attentive. The steak frites were delicious and fulll of flavor. The signature guacamole was fresh (and if you aren't a cilantro lover like me it's barely in it)! My husband and son really enjoyed the cheese pizza. The restaurant gave off summer lake house vibes! It was very clean and filled with plants. There was no wait for inside seating but a 45 minute wait for outside seating. I recommend reservations!

Super cute, big and amazing! Easy process for reservations ( which I highly recommend, groups over 6 or 8 had to do the party packages or walk in )Server ( Ashley ) was amazing ! Food was so good. And a bakery??? 10/10 Couple different seating areas. ( indoor and out ) And loved the open glass kitchen to see what's going on. Drinks a little pricey but everything was great. And we celebrated a birthday and the gave us a cookie

Wonderful lunch at Disney Spring's Summer House on the Lake. We found two seats at the back bar, with a busy but friendly bartender, and quickly got down to business! Hubby ordered a "Crisp Bois" beer, which was super delicious, while I had a fruity delicious drink - don't remember the name. Disappointed that the Warm Edamame was only on the dinner menu, we skipped the appetizer. We ordered the Costa Mesa salad to split, with an order of Truffle Fries. The salad came perfectly split with two beautiful plates! I'd love to have had more plant protein, but not available here. The salad was tasty, however, so we were happy. The truffle fries were shoestring, which is not my fave. I'd like more substantial bites for my truffle taste. They were good, but came with a weird sauce in which to dip them that did not go with the truffle flavor. After tasting it, we left the rest. Beautiful, cool day, overlooking a picturesque lake, in a serene environment with yummy food and drink...couldn't have been a better lunch place!

Summer House on the Lake Restaurant:This was our first time eating in the restaurant. We had a reservation for 7pm on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy. We waited about 20 minutes. I imagine the weekend is even busier, so a reservation is definitely needed. It's really beautiful inside. Very bright and lively, but not chaotic. It has a very upscale vibe, without feeling the need to change out of park clothes. Overall this was a hit for us. The service was good, the food was excellent, and we felt like the quality justified the prices. I'd say this is one of the best restaurants in Disney Springs and will be top of our list when we go back in September! The cheesy dream puffs may not look appetizing, but looks are deceiving in this case. These popovers are light and airy, with the perfect amount of cheesiness. The dipping sauce is like a country southern gravy you'd find on biscuits where I'm from. The gravy is what brings it all together. I could have licked the bowl clean! You MUST try these! This pizza surprisingly very well done in that the crust was crispy (I hate soggy pizza crust) and seasoned, the tomato sauce was bright with the right amount of acidity, and the mozzarella was creamy. I would have liked a little more mozzarella. We will probably try the pepperoni next time. The spaghetti and meatballs was a favorite of our party. The pasta tastes homemade and the pomodoro was the perfect sauce. The meatballs were juicy and well seasoned. I would definitely order this again! The skirt steak was perfectly medium rare as requested. It was tender and flavorful. The fries were crispy. The dipping sauce for the fries was similar to a mix of honey mustard and bbq sauce. The butternut squash ravioli is hard to describe. I really enjoyed the ravioli themselves. They were al dente with a beautiful butternut squash filling that was creamy. The brown butter added some depth. However the sauce that the ravioli is on was kind of sweet and it seemed out of place in the dish. I would have preferred a cream or tomato based sauce or even a pesto, but it didn't work with the dish. Summer House Cookie Bar:This place has solid offerings and variety to meet anyone's current sweet cravings. My favorites are the lemon cookie (tart/sour, lemon glaze, soft), brownie (it's like fudge and brownie batter had a beautiful baby! It's moist, almost gooey, super soft), and brown butter Rice Krispie treat (slightly salty, sweet, gooey marshmallow. I have 2-3 during my stay). My husband likes the M&M cookie (it's a little crunchy, soft in the center, standard cookie). The atomosphere is so pretty and there's rarely a wait. We stop here every trip. Don't waste your time waiting in other lines for mediocre cookies and treats, when you can get great tasting sweets for lower prices and significantly higher quality.
