Wow wow wow, what an incredible experience at storybook dinning. We went here to celebrate a birthday while at Disney, and were blown away. We had reservations for dinner, which I highly recommend getting in advance, and was seated fairly quickly. The waitstaff were all incredible, and were very knowledgeable about allergies, as I can't eat gluten. They went over the menu with me, and made me feel comfortable with my selections. While waiting for the food I was able to take in the atmosphere. It's beautiful done and makes you feel like you are in a magical forest, which is perfect for the theme. Throughout the three courses Snow White, dopey, and grumpy would walk around and do meet and greets with the guests. The Evil Queen would send an invitation to your table to come see her at the end of the meal. The appetizers and desserts are shared in a family style feel (apart from the allergy friendly ones for me). I loved how you can have little bites of everything, alongside a pretty hefty main meal. For me the food was incredible, with the star of the show being the pork shank. It was so flavorful and fell right off the bone. You get a lot of food for the price you pay along side the experience you are partaking in. Overall, this was one of the better character meals I have experienced and the food was definitely worth the price. This is definitely a spot I'd come back to in the future.

This has been the best character meal experience we have had this trip to Disney. Our server was absolutely FANTASTIC and fun. The character experience was a bit lacking but overall still good. Dopey and Grumpy were the highlight of the experience for us, the Queen was good too. I wasn't a fan of the appetizers. I was excited the shrimp had Bloody Mary mix, but it was pretty bland, it definitely needed some spice. The mushroom bisque wasn't great, I would have preferred just mushrooms. The preserves on the meatballs didn't improve the over mixed texture of the meatballs. The prime rib was on point, my daughter enjoyed her salmon. My toddler wanted more prime rib but honestly has ate steak all week and always wants more. I wasn't a fan of any of the desserts, the tart was the best one but definitely needed a bite of vanilla ice cream to balance it out. Overall, we would absolutely go back and definitely recommend over CRT.

Very happy with our character dining experience. We took the ferry boat from our hotel at the Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge. As every review here mentions, you get to see the Evil Queen (our highlight of the meal; she was a hoot!), Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy. Decorated like we are in the forest - it was cool. Its a pre-fixe and you cannot choose the appetizer or dessert - just the entree. Wish you can choose your own appetizer - it was rather lackluster imo - mushroom soup was so gritty - we didn't take another spoonful. My girl hates shrimp, so more for me, and the meatballs was the best thing, but she did also have her own kids menu. The desserts was also another threesome plus surprise chocolate at the end - The little mousse apples was for sure the highlight for desserts. The pork shank was good and very filling and was very happy with the prime rib. Our server was nice enough and made sure we got a picture with all of the characters. Evil Queen is hard to find to take picture anywhere in WDW, and my girl really wanted to take a pic and get her autograph, so happy we came here for that.

Storybook dining at artist point was the highlight of our trip. This is a character dining experience that was $67 per adult but it included 3 courses and we got to meet with 4 characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - Dopey (my personal favorite), Grumpy, Snow White, and the Queen. The restaurant looked like we were in the story book and in the forest where the story was taking place. While we weren't celebrating anything, it was still the BEST service my friends and I have ever had at Disney World (and we have been coming for years). The main person that this can be attributed to was our waiter, Martin (Only regret is that we forgot to take a picture with him!). His recommendations for drinks and the main course were spot on and brought out extras when we devoured everything like starved animals. We enjoyed all the food but our favorites were the Magic Mirror's Slow Braised Pork Shank (which was recommended by Martin and all 4 of us got even though we had other choices) and the Miner's Treasure for dessert. While the price point is a little high, I would still highly recommend this immersive restaurant experience.

We have done quite a few character dining experiences on Disney Property and this became one of our favorites. The interior was beautiful and we loved how the lighting enhanced everything. It was great to meet some rare characters, I don't think I've ever seen Grumpy out and about. The food was delicious, it was an elevated experience. Everyone enjoyed their meal but the slow braised pork shank was the highlight of the meal. Our server was okay, some of the service felt rushed while other areas felt very slow. I think they were trying to time it with the character interactions but it didn't always flow. Overall I would definitely eat here again, it was a wonderful meal.

The host asked if we were celebrating anything and it was our 12 year anniversary so she gave us Happily Ever After buttons, wrong 12 "ears" for Mickey ears, and drew fun little hearts etc. on them. The draw for this place is the atmosphere and getting to meet the characters. We met Dopey, Grumpy, and Snow White. There was also a line for taking photos with the evil queen. But the food is also actually quite good, as we'd heard. We started with the smoking mirror scotch cocktails which were surprisingly quite nice. Smoky from the actual smoke wafting in the glass, but more on the nose, rather than the peaty quality of some scotches. I prefer less peaty scotch so that was good for me. Sweet but not overly - we both really enjoyed it. Appetizers came quickly. Each table gets one of each with some for each person. The mushroom soup was flavorful and creamy without just tasting of cream, great pronounced mushroom flavor. The meatballs are poultry , so they're less rich than beef or pork, but still quite flavorful without being spicy and they sit in a cranberry sauce which is absolutely delightful. Sweet but not sugary. I'm not usually a fan of shrimp cocktail but the shrimp was good quality and it was a nice sauce. We were offered seconds and I wish I'd refused since I was so full by the end, but they were too good to pass up. My husband ordered the vegetarian Stroll through nature gnocchi. It was good and less rich than I'd feared. He liked it but it was a lot of just one flavor. I usually avoid pork but it's one of my favorite meats so I splurged here for the first time in over four years and it was well worth the splurge. Succulent, tender, fall off the bone slow braised pork shank. I love polenta and it was even better with the red wine demi and juicy spinach. My husband hates polenta and liked it. The desserts were better than we expected since we don't like uber rich or sweet desserts. They were interesting with nice textures and not too rich. But they were a little sweet for us so we couldn't quite finish them all.

Every time we visit Disney World, we make reservations for a different dining experience. Since it had been a while since we had one with characters and we had never been to Wilderness Lodge, we selected Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. As soon as we were seated, we spotted Dopey and Grumpy making their way around along with Snow White. The price fixed menu for $65 a person includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We enjoyed the wild mushroom bisque although the portion was small. I loved my prime rib roast entree with horseradish-mashed potatoes. The prime rib was perfectly cooked although there was some fat I had to cut off. My husband had the Brother's Grimm Herb Chicken, and he was able to substitute the cauliflower purée. My favorite part of the meal was the shared desserts. We each got a Miner's Treasure (cookies 'n cream panna cotta), a Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart, and a "Poison" Apple with a dark chocolate-apple mousse center. They were each unique and delicious. On top of the delicious food, we loved getting pictures with Dopey, Grumpy (my favorite), and the charming Snow White. The evil queen does not walk around. Instead, you are invited to go up and visit her for a photo. She played the part well, and photos were taken for us. Overall, while expensive, we enjoyed the food and character opportunities. The restaurant is also pretty inside with lights and branches on the ceiling. Our server was attentive and friendly and acknowledged our anniversary along with the rest of the characters.

Storybook Dining is at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Reservations are 100% a must! The place was packed! Menu is prix fixe. The first course is Shared Appetizers. Wild Mushroom Bisque was good, but a little gritty, Wicked Shrimp Cocktail and Hunter's Harvest (Turkey and chicken meatballs)For the entrees we chose the Cottage Beef Stroganoff, the Royal Prime Rib Roast, A Stroll through Nature (gnocchi with veggies) and the Magic Mirror's Slow-braised Pork Shank. Big portions and the food was so good! Desserts were shared and the Gooseberry Tart was my favorite! Character interaction here was wonderful! Grump and Dopey and Snow White came to our table and spent quite a bit of time at each table. The Evil Queen was wonderful! The restaurant is quite cozy and cast members were very nice!

This was our fave character experience! The Evil Queen was FANTASTIC! Wish all seven dwarves were there- it's just two which is dumb. Should include a printed photo for the price! Food and service was extraordinary! It's billed as an enchanted forest and there was a little lighted leaves, but overall dining room could be decorated much cooler. The character experiences little laminated card with autographs they hand you is a waste of paper and stupid. All being said we loved it overall!
