We have been coming here for over 10 years and haven't been disappointed yet! This is a no-frills shrimp shop. Counter service with a fair price. The staff will bring your food to your table. You won't get fancy shrimp here, but if you love lightly, perfectly fried, delicate, curly, happy, shrimp- this place is for you! Also a MUST HAVE-- their cornbread. Trust me, just get an extra piece! Cole slaw is also my favorite! Service has always been great for me-- I DO think you get what you give! If you're nice, you get nice back. Golden rule, folks!!Whenever we're in the area, Stonington's is on the list!

Check your carry out before leaving.I did not and was missing a side.I called and will get it on the next visit but it was disappointing...

I came for fried oysters, I am trying to find good fried oysters in Orlando. Anyway, they did not have oysters the day I visited. I decided to try other stuff I came for. The shrimp is perfection, so yummy and seasoned. The CORNBREAD is amazing, I don't eat cornbread but I was told I must try it, I'm glad I did! Aaamazing, 100/10. You just gotta try it. I was not fond of the Mac n Cheese, I don't recommend it, something about the texture was off and I wouldn't order it again. But I'll be back to try other stuff based on the shrimpN cornbread, I know other options would be great. Oh and the wings were basic, if you want wings, try them! This place is a little pricey to me for the portions but food is very good.

Stoningtons is simple and to the point and I love it! We stopped in for the fried shrimp and ended up getting so much more. You walk in and order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Easy breezy. We ordered the 3 shrimp and cod with Mac and cheese and red beans and rice and the 3 shrimp w/ a crab cake with a salad and cornbread.I will start with the cornbread because it is honestly the best I've ever had! It is so soft and buttery, also full of flavor. I will honestly get that every time I order from here on out! The crab cake was good, not my favorite but it was seasoned great, and a nice size.The cod was fried lightly and seasoned wonderfully! Macaroni and cheese was in a little personal pan and was good!! Not super cheesy but definitely full of flavor and the red beans and rice had a good flavor as well! The shrimp was butterflied, lightly breaded, seasoned well and cooked to perfection! It's always the best part of the meal(aside from the cornbread)! The layout of the restaurant is plain and simple, clean, and has a nice area to dine in.

If you're a fried seafood lover, Stonington's is a must-visit! We are locals but did not know about this place until it was discovered by my in-laws during one of their visits from upstate NY...and since then, my family keeps going back for more! I've had just about everything on their menu, from their popular Fried Shrimp, Fried Cod, and even Chicken Tenders, and let me tell you--each dish was a revelation! The Fried Shrimp is seriously the best in town! The Fried Cod was equally impressive, crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The Chicken Tenders were a hit with the kids (and adults!) and just as delicious. And let's not forget the cornbread--it was the perfect sweet and savory side to round out the meal. Their other sides are just as tasty that it's so hard deciding which two sides to get when ordering their platters! The quality is consistently high, and the flavors are out of this world. The restaurant is a very simple yet clean setting with counter service that's inviting. If you eat there, they happily deliver your order to your table. This place never disappoints! Highly recommend. Trust!!!

I always have to stop here while in Orlando. It's really like a ritual for me. I came in on Friday and ordered what I normally do. The lady at the counter was polite and attentive. But onto my order, which was 1 crab cake with 3 shrimp and for my sides I got the cornbread why is that a side I have no idea but it's really good. I also got Mac and cheese and the salad again. The crab cake and shrimp were delicious. The sauce for the crab cake I did not like it this go around I'm not sure what changed. My salad was ok this time around only because the nuts tasted old to me. Once I picked them off I was good to go. All in all I'll see them in the new yr.

I've tried pretty must everything. Everything here is good , you can't go wrong especially with the special. Honest review :The chicken is average , didn't really like the wings. Rice and beans had nice spice to it but the rice lacked the flavor I was looking for. Mac and cheese is okay you can only expect must from Mac and cheese from fast food places. Like I said everything here is good. But my preference is the one below. My favorite Shrimp , corn bread , onion rings also the fries are love the hot sauce and honey mustard.

I hate to leave this review, because this is one of my favorite spots you can see by how many times I've checked in and my first review that was left. But while visiting today a huge roach crawled up on my table. It absolutely disgusted me, so much so I walked out and left my food right on the table. I mentioned it to the young lady at the register but she didn't even look surprised. I'm so sad because I will likely never be back again.

Delicious and fast!2 piece shrimp and cod with macaroni and cornbread. All of it was amazing! Will be in town for a few days and will definitely stop in again maybe for lunch next time . Friendly staff too!!!

Food ok. Went into do carry out twice and it seemed mike I was bothering them. My wife seem to have good experience but she ate in. I am the better tipper and nicer so don't know what the issue was. The person seemed more interested in their phone.
