Steak ’n Shake

Haven't been here in quite some time, but they've changed it up quite a bit... You now order your food at a kiosk pick a seat and they call your number, also they have a scanning mechanism that allows you to serve your drinks from the fountain, I've never seen anything like that before. The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious. Everything was great.

The food is good and delicious, the service was fast.. the ambiance is good nice and clean today

Depends who is the griller grilling the steak burgers but steak and shake is by far the cheapest to get freshly made diner style burger meals.$4 gets you 4-5 options of burger meals with the famous thin fries. No fast food can beat that price! Especially freshly made burgers!$7-$8 gets you the full meal with drink.Less than $2 gets you onion rings which are delicious or cheese fries!Any regular or specialty milkshakes are $4.99. They renovated this restaurant after covid and it looks more updated. They do not have servers any longer taking or serving orders. They have touch screens to place all orders. Orders are distributed through a staff calling out the name of the diner. That is when you pick up your food from the counter. Fountain drink is self served. We will be regulars here with the $4 burger meals!

I love steak N shake and so does my boy Shiloh.Our go toos are single steak burger for Shiloh, garlic steak burger because I LOVE garlic, and the fresco melt so so yummy! The burgers are always made fresh, I've been a customer with Steak 'n Shake for years. Come between 2-4 for half prices shakes!!!

The burgers are pretty good and decently priced. The fries are meh and I would definitely avoid the chili. However the service there is amazing and the staff are so kind. I went to change my chili and they not only did it with no problem one of the employees came out to apologize for it and explain the change in their chili. She was just so, so, so sweet. I would go back there for sure, beats the burgers from the surrounding chains. Better priced.

This location is doing take out and drive through only. They have removed all the tables inside and I asked the server if they were remodeling. Nope he said they are permanently discontinuing dine in service so to go and drive through only.I have a love hate relationship with this chain. I have fond memories of going to this place as a kid after Christmas shopping and to the drive in (they had carhops) as a teenager in Central Illinois. The one saving grace of this location was the longstanding servers who provided great experiences. The take out at this location was always 50/50. There was even odds they would mess up your order so you had to check it before leaving.Since COVID they have discontinued the real fruit shakes so they just have the fake tasting strawberry one now. In a pinch this place will do. It was Thanksgiving and most places were closed, I got my husband some fries and a large drink. It was ready in a flash and exactly what I ordered.

My first time trying and I thought it was very yummy. The hamburger was not soggy or greasy which is perfect. The fries were very very skinny and small. The milk shake was tall which I thought was cool. 4 starts because management need to take care of the ceilings. It smells very musty/moisty/mold. I was a bit concerned eating there b/c the ceilings looks very bad.

Explained order 3 times! Did not get our sauces our straws and both our burgers were messed up. None of them were supposed to have ketchup and they said the order was right. Spent 30 on a order and couldn't eat the burger. Allergic to tomato's!

Decent burgers and great fries. Also shakes are very good but I can't get them anymore because my stomach has gone to war on dairy, sadly. The one time I said to heck with it and tried the Shake it was great. Service has been exceptional both times we've gone. The burger patties are somewhat different than what you would normally see. They are thinner and have a lot of holes in the patty. They taste very good though.

We don't have a steak and shake in my state so it was our first time trying it. Omg the garlic steak burger was the fastest I've ever ate a burger in my whole life it was so good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was really clean!
