While in Orlando for work we had a craving for Thai food so we went to Yelp (of course) to look for a good restaurant. The reviews were spot on. This place is authentic, staff is friendly, service is good, food is great! Great service from Rita! Wow! What a disappointment. I used to work at Carmax and would frequently eat lunch at Spice Thai and the food was very good. I'm originally from NY and we have great Thai food. This was close to the Thai I would get on NY. It's have no clue what's happened in the last few years. No flavor whatsoever. The Pas Thai was a pink clump of noodles with pink flavorless chicken. The Fried Rice tastes like white rice and the potstickers were mediocre. I was so upset. Never eating here again.

Almost did not go there. Strip center and not one person in there..........5 minutes later place was packed. Everyone looked like they were Thai, guess this place is authentic.Started out with the spring rolls and steamed dumplings. Spring rolls were you normal except it was 500 degrees hotter than lava.We had the Pinapple Fried rice with chicken. Absolutely the best I have ever had. All medium hot and perfect. Spicy but not too hot. My friend had the Pad Thai and said it was fantastic.Great service and very clean and do not pass this place up. Outside looks sketchy, but inside is nice and this is authentic and the real deal. Service made the meal too.

We came straight from the Orlando airport for a Wednesday evening dinner around 7 pm. There were already a good number of tables seated so it took a few minutes to get our drinks, but staff is friendly and even offered us chopsticks. We ordered green papaya salad medium spicy which was delicious and made my mouth tingly warm. We also got the fried chicken wontons with a tasty dipping sauce that I kept for my fried tofu in my drunken noodle dish. We also got the summer rolls which came with a delicious peanut sauce. My husband got the Basil duck which came on a sizzling plate. My son got the steak Masaman curry which was a huge serving. We ended up have some leftovers and full bellies for a wonderful start of my birthday week celebration in Orlando.

Spice Thai may not win any awards for its decor, but don't let that deter you,the food more than compensates for the lack of visual appeal. Visiting about an hour before closing, we experienced a relaxed atmosphere without feeling rushed. The service was attentive, and our food arrived quickly.My husband ordered the yellow curry with chicken at medium spice, which he found to be perfectly spiced and delicious. I had the garlic and pepper sautéed with chicken, which was equally satisfying. Despite the unassuming appearance of the restaurant, the quality of the dishes makes it a worthwhile dining spot.

I came here with my coworkers on a rare lunch break (teacher life). With a vegan and 3 non-vegans I was looking for a spot that everyone would enjoy. Spice Thai was a hit! The lunch special for $10.95 was a great way to try a small appetizer and a meal. I got the Fried Krab Cheese and it came with two. I also got the Chicken Chili Jam. Medium was not too spicy, next time I will get hot. Our server was quick and refilled our waters multiple times. There is only indoor seating and plenty of booths and tables. Not too much decor, but clean and welcoming. There was an 18% service fee included on our bill for a table of 4.
