3rd time here. Man. I'm gonna be spending a ton of my money here. Same wonderful earthy smell coming in. Kind staff. Player 2 and I brought our daughter here and she fell in love with the butter chicken. Chicken vindaloo medium spice level and butter chicken mild spice level tonight with garlic naan bread. Oh! Vegetable samosa for appetizer. Hot dang this is good. Ok Vindaloo is more tomato ish. Some lemon maybe? Vinegar? Definitely more spice. The butter chicken...bruh. Rich, earthy, curry flavor. Smooth. Damn it was good. Garlic naan is over the top. On their online menu I saw something called chile naan where the naan has spicy green chilies in it. It isn't on the regular menu so I asked about it and they have it. . Now I have an excuse to come back. So happy with this place man.

Spice is ironically named. I went for the lunch buffet, and nothing was spicy. The biryani, which traditionally packs a punch, had zero kick to it. I was disappointed to be honest. Also most of the chicken dishes were saucy on the outside but dry on the inside. And the naan was dry and flavorless. If you're unsure about trying Indian, or don't like strong flavors, this might be a good way to dip your toe in the water. Maybe the buffet is bland compared to the regular menu. I'll never know.

Absolutely enchanted by their food. The Spice Indian Grill is a restaurant across from the UCF campus on Alafaya. It has plenty of parking space as they are in a strip mall. Their service is always courteous and food comes to you very quickly, at the right temperature and heat (spice). We ordered garlic naan, my husband ordered Chili chicken and I ordered Bakhara- an overnight cooked lentil stew. Their ambiance is casual, they have two tv monitors where they play Indian soaps and on the other world landscape and great scenery clips. They serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Always a great place to dine in - booths and self standing chairs/tables. They have a great menu and offer an amazing buffet on the weekends.

Ok so let me start by saying I prefer North Indian cuisine and that my fav spot is hard to beat in SoCal.That said this spot is a strong 3, naan is a 4 and Pilaf Rice is a 2 and Tikka Masala chicken is a 3ish. The Tikka Masala curry is more tomatoe-y than what I'm used to.The service is a 5++! Fantastic people and so so nice! Food came super fast at 6pm on a Friday night. Parking is easy as it's in a plaza. Very close to UCF and a better food option in the area.I'd come back if in the area for sure.

On a Sunday night the restaurant was nearly empty so we enjoyed quick service. To start, we received a complimentary appetizer something like fried/toasted rice and spices (much like a light and crispy rice chip) served with 3 delicious sauces. We also ordered a meat appetizer with chicken cooked various ways and it was simply okay. It tasted good but wasn't something I'd order again. Onto the mains, I ordered chicken vindaloo and my bf got lamb korma. My sauce felt very rich with a good amount of spice, and it came with a decent amount of chicken. Only complaint is some bits of chicken breast were pretty dry-- either smaller cubes or chicken thighs instead would've been even more delicious. As for the lamb korma-- I found myself wishing I'd ordered that dish! It was so creamy and flavorful and wonderfully nutty because of the cashews. The tender lamb also didn't taste gamey to me at all which is why I usually don't order it. Also, rice is unlimited. Some places charge for extra sides! Overall I enjoyed the visit and would like to come back and try the buffet at some point.

Some of the best Indian you can find near UCF. the food is amazing quality and they actually cater the spice level to the customer. This makes this Indian restaurant approachable to newcomers but still great to people more okay with spice. It's also super fun and homely inside the restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

A solid buffet with all the standard offerings you'd expect. Their specialty, and the best thing at the buffet, is their chili chicken which is sort of a spicy version of Chinese orange chicken. Deep fried chicken with chili and green peppers and onions. Great with rice and naan. Everything else is standard buffet quality. We've never been for dinner. The dining room is mostly booths. Nothing fancy. And the service is attentive. Definitely worth many visits to sate your Indian cravings!

The only Indian restaurant on the east side of the city. Tabla? Have you seen how ridiculous their prices are? Ahmed? Have you tasted their food?In an area starving for culinary attention, Spice carries more than its weight.I might be a little biased because they take good care of my special requests and always make sure I'm happy. Favorites are Kadai anything, Saag anything and Salmon Tikka. Lamb is always cooked very tender, a rare find in my travels. What little tandoor I've had has been unremarkable because it's not my thing, and Malai Salmon packs a punch of salt. Madras is good, but I prefer Kadai when I want savory rather than tomato-dairy.

Service was excellent. Pitcher of cold water always on table and refilled as needed. Ordered vegetable samosa and a shrimp dish for appetizers. Samosa crust thin and flaky and stuffed with tasty mix. Shrimp could have been bigger and more tender but the sauce was amazing. Main dish of chicken tika made in tandoori oven was best ever. The seasoning on the chicken fantastic and so tasty and the chicken cooked perfectly. We also had the chicken tiki marsala with great sauce and also perfectly cooked chicken. An onion naan was also tasty. Even though we didn't try it they now have an add menu with south India food. Will definitely try it next time.
