(Overall: A) - I loved how Epcot fully immersed the space theme of this restaurant, starting from the entrance that was a liftoff simulation better than all the paid tall building sightseeing attractions available elsewhere; the restaurant is decorated with a very smartly designed wine cellar that fits well with the theme at was truly breathtaking. The food matched in this regard, being presentation first, with the flavors having a lot more variance that could be fine tuned a bit better. The staff here I felt were much better compared to other establishments within Disney, frequently checking in and providing very clear and thoughtful communication. Highly recommend this spot if you're able to get a reservation.(Neptuna Tartare: A) - For a space themed restaurant, I felt like this dish perfectly fit the theme with the Panipuri which was quite smart! I do see the vision of this dish, but I feel like there are significant opportunities to improve the dish. Specifically, each indivdual component is not well tuned, as in the tuna is bland and the passionfruit is too sweet, but when you combine all the flavors together, they taste almost good -- instead, if each individual component were better tuned, this would be for sure a signature dish.(Rocket Flame Seared Tuna: A) - I was honestly quite concerned about the completeness of a Ahi main, but the roasted tomato and eggplant definitely delivered in that regard. There is sweetness, acidity, and saline coming through this dish and the tuna is properly cooked, making this quite an impressive dish.(Chili Garlic Broccolini: C) - The broccolini was well roasted in such a way that they are tender yet still maintain integrity. Unfortunately, the garlic and chili flavor the name of this dish claims to have is drowned out by an overwhelming butter flavor.Food: EPresentation: +1Price: EAtmosphere: +2Service: +1Menu: +1Overall: 5 starsInsta/Yelp/Beli/TikTok: @amei_eats

Space 220 is located at EPCOT and is the hardest reservation to get. I honestly don't know why after our experience. This is a restaurant and lounge, two separate dining, located in the same space. If you are looking for a reservation, you need to look for either the restaurant or the lounge, depending on what you want.We visited the lounge, so my review is about the lounge. The theme here is space. You go up to the space center to enjoy your dining and then head back to earth when you are done. In the lounge, you have a special menu as well as the option to order ala cart from the regular menu. If you dine in the regular restaurant, then you have to order from the price fix menu. I will say that my positives are the theming 100% and our particular server. She was beyond amazing, and I am so glad we had her. She was honestly the only polite person we interacted with. Some of the other highlights included my drink, which was their version of an espresso martini however it had astronaut ice cream on top. Very cool and very good. I also thought the portion sizes for my husband's appetizer, pork belly, was very large. I don't know how that was an appetizer, it could have been a meal. My negatives are a lot. I'm not sure how often I would want to go back here. I made the reservation for 4 people. We had another friend join us with her child so I tried to increase it to 6, but I could not locate a reservation. When we checked in, I asked if we could add the other adult and child and worse case, the child could sit in her mom or dad's lap. She told us no problem but then tried to check us in for almost 10 minutes. At one point I said if you can't its ok. She again told us "No problem, I'm just trying to figure it out". She asked the other host for help, explaining that we needed a new reservation. I interrupted and said no, we have one, we are just adding more. He said as well, "No problem" and showed her how to do it. They told us to go inside. When we got inside the hostess inside told us to sit down. We sat there for around 15 minutes as we watched group after group being called (all of whom arrived after us). I finally went up and asked, she checked my name and said, "oh party of 4, I see you". I explained what happened outside and that we have 5 plus a child. She said she could not accommodate 5 or 6 in the lounge. I explained that is not what we were told outside. So, she called her leader. Her leader came over stating the same thing. I explained the whole situation; said we would wait if needed and her parents could hold her on their lap. She tried to explain that the table only seats 4. I asked if we could add a chair to which we were told no. I also explained we had been told different information outside and now I had to tell a child they could not go who was very excited to go to space. They were not budging. I understand what she was saying however, we were told yes, then no from the next person, then when we sat down, we mentioned it to our server and she goes, "We can totally add a chair, we make exceptions all the time"! WHAT! That is where I got really upset. My other issue was that the lounge was not full. We had 3 empty tables around us that we could have pushed together or at least sat close to each other. And as we sat there, a large family came to the lounge and put 4 kids at a table and then the 4 adults at a different table and our table was sandwiched in-between. It was not consistent, and we were very mad. The food was ok, my husband ordered the pork belly which he enjoyed, and it was very large. MY sister ordered sliders, and I ordered the calamari, and we shared truffle fries. All of these came from the lounge menu. We were not told her sliders also came with fries, so we had a lot of food. The truffle fries were good, they needed salt and a dip. Her sliders were tasty and a good size. My calamari was very small and raw. These needed to be cooked more. I should have sent them back to be honest, but I was already upset with the seating situation. The portion was terribly small as well for the price. My other issue is the lounge tables are smaller, but their plates are GIGANTIC. We were struggling and at one point I just held my plate of calamari. I understand theming but know the space and adjust appropriately. MY husband ordered their Black Hole Old Fashioned, and he hated it. It was watery and very little liquor. Overall, I'm not sure if I would come back. They do have bar seating; you can wait in line and try and get a table. But to be honest, the restaurant and the lounge was not full, so why is it impossible to find a reservation? I actually tried to go to their website and find a contact to email about our experience, but I could not. I honestly hope they see this. Their customer service was terrible! The food they served me was undercooked and almost raw. I think this place is overhyped. Yes, it is a super cool place to go. You literally feel like you are in space.

If you're looking for a unique, unforgettable experience - book Space 220 for dinner! It's a prix-fixe 3-course dinner where you choose your own appetizer, main meal, and dessert. They have many appealing options, so it was tough to decide. Thankful I had my husband with me so I could try more items! I started with the cauliflower and my husband started with the calamari. Neither blew us away, as we felt we had tasted similar dishes before. Moving onto the main course, I had the short rib and my husband had the pork chop. The short rib was tender and delicious, but the real star of the plate was the cheddar grits underneath. I am still thinking about them!! The pork chop was good, but the Korean BBQ glaze was a bit spicy. Lastly, for dessert I had the Sol which was chocolate & hazelnut, while my husband had the Lunar Carrot Cake. Both were delicious but by the time the dessert was served we were stuffed!! The atmosphere and service were out of this work (ba dum tissssss!). Our service did a nice job of checking in on us and refilled beverages as he saw them getting low. It was fun to look out the windows at Space but we didn't have the best view of Earth since we were on the side of the restaurant and the better view is right in the middle. I strongly recommended you try to get this highly coveted reservation on your next Epcot day!

It can definitely be hard to snag a reservation here but if you can I definitely recommend it! I went for dinner and loved the atmosphere. Everyone from check in to the time you leave really embraces the space theme which was so fun! Our waiter was the best, made us laugh every time he came by to ask "are you happy?" and service was quick. The food, a prefixed 3 course meal at $79/adult was delicious and we left stuffed! I chose the tuna tartare served in pani puri shells, filet mignon and the sol dessert. The filet mignon melted in my mouth and was probably the best I've had! I did not go with any kids but I think any kid would love the space theme. The only small annoyance was it took a while for the elevator to bring us back down after. It is a great spot for a sit down dinner and break during a long park day!

This was the best food we had at Disney World, no competition! The experience starts with an "elevator" taking you into space, the experience is fun, so look up and down and really get into it! The space itself is so cool. A moving space visual outside your "window," watch for astronauts and other cool things! There is a good view from any table. It is a fixed menu, and we went for lunch to save $20. For apps, I got the beet salad and it was one of the best I have ever had! They carmelized the goat cheese, had crunchy salts, just divine. My boyfriend liked his calamari a lot too. Presentation on both was lovely! For mains, my boyfriend loved his burger. I got the ahi tuna and it was so good! the texture, flavor, and presentation were all incredible. I am gluten free and found that I had several great options to choose from. The cool, quiet, dark, peaceful atmosphere was a PERFECT break from the hustle of the park. I will be back on my next visit!

I can't comprehend some of the negative reviews on this restaurant. Out of all the Disney restaurants that require a reservation this was one of the coolest most unique experiences I have ever had dining. If anyone has ever seen the show "The 100" it gave me vibes of being on the Ark. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. While the food is expensive (just like every Disney restaurant) I felt like it lived up to the quality. You certainly will get more bang for your buck coming at lunchtime when the crowd isn't crazy and the prices are more reasonable. If I had to nitpick anything here it's that you can clearly see the green "exit" signs from the back of the "space station" which kind of messed with the immersion for me. And I really wish they let you keep the space station tickets you took to get into the restaurant. But like I said this is nitpicking and totally not a deal breaker for me. If I went back to Disney this would definitely be high on my priority list to try again.

hat a phenomenal experience. Had two Of the very best servers, Charles and Brittany. Both extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. The drinks, food and atmosphere was so great. Beautiful "ride" up to space really set the tone. Brittany took our drink orders right away and was so patient and sweet with our questions. Charles then came by to make sure all was okay and if we needed anything else. Drinks came quickly and were so delicious (and strong). Food came shortly after and we had steak and fries, Salmon and greens and fried mushroom! That was of this world amazing. Kids had Mac n cheese( yes I know basic) but they loved it. They got to color and watch the astrodog make an appearance. Desserts were great. Birthday cake ice cream and plain vanilla gelato. It was an over all amazing experience. Charles made sure to check in, in between and bring us some great sauces for our steak. The service was really top notch.

SUCH a fun experience. I love how you enter a room and "sky rocket to space" for a meal. Once you get up to the space station, you feel like you really were transported. Our server was super friendly and awesome, she even gave us a free anniversary special dessert. The set menu has so many great options. Got the wagyu beef carpaccio, so good. Then for my main course, I got the miso salmon, also delicious with an amazing sauce. The tempura fried mushroom was wonderful. Then it was time to go home to Earth. Will definitely be returning!

I came knowing it's a one and done for most people. This was a gift for my dad's 70th birthday who loves space and he enjoyed it, but wasn't over the top impressed. My 4 year old even said, I know we didn't go to real outer space. So as far as the ambiance, I feel like more could have been done to make it truly immersive. It was cute, but nothing to blow you away. As far as the food....meh. I'm not blown away by really any of the Disney food, but this was below average. I tend to find most of the restaurants use the same pieces of salmon, chicken, meat, etc. I opted for the salmon however, I wish I had gone with a different dish. It was probably the weakest piece of fish I've had in a very very long time. My 4-year-old had the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatball was some type of chicken meatball that was honestly disgusting. The apps were fine, nothing to complain about. While this has a few cool elements,, I would say this is a skip.

Space 220 is an all-round amazing experience! From the beginning, we had a wonderful check-in experience with Trish from Long Island, NY....she is so kind, friendly, fun, and helpful, and we truly enjoyed visiting with her while we were waiting for our reservation time. She even remembered us from previous visits....it's always nice to see her friendly face! Melanie (Bartender) was fabulous....great drinks and she was very kind, energetic, and personable! Lacey from NY, NY,, who took care of us during our dining experience in the lounge area, was so friendly and fantastic! Lacey ensured that our time in "Space" was absolutely perfect! As a vegetarian, I had several questions, and she was very knowledgeable and made some fantastic recommendations ... the Grow Zone Sprouts Salad, highly recommended by Lacey, is now my favorite Space 220 menu item! We look forward to visiting Space 220 during our next (and EVERY) visit to WDW! Thank you so much again to Trish, Lacey, and Melanie!
