Southeast Eatery

We have been eating at Southeast for years. Their food and service is always great. Recently remodeled due to hurricane damage. It's even better than before hurricane Milton. Large portions of great food.

Great breakfast spot near Legoland! Affordable and great service. It was my son's birthday and the waitress made it special for him.Nice decor inside and the food was yummy. I got the biscuits and gravy that really enjoyed.Definitely be back if I am in the area.

The restaurant is ruled by a rude owner picture below. She has lost a lot of full-time patron because of her rudeness. Also, she has raised the prices so high. It's one of the most expensive places to eat in all of Polk County and tell the truth. The food is not as good as it used to be, she has bought a lowerof food. She also will not hire male waiters because she thinks that that attracts gay people.Aléjate de este lugar. La dueña es muy grosera y la única persona que le gusta es ella misma. Ella se cree una reina y dirige un imperio, muy deteriorado. Imperio, es muy triste porque este solía ser un muy buen lugar para ir a comer y el horario muy conveniente lo cambia todo.

My friends and I stopped here for breakfast and everything was delicious. You get a large portion at a decent price. The waitress we had was attentive and gave good recommendations. A place for homemade cooking.

Food is good service is always excellent but the prices sure went up it seems like they went a few dollars or more per meal.

Quick Update: Diners BEWARE!! This restaurant cares NOTHING about you or any of their customers. Long story short; for the sum of $9, which we refused to pay because our order was wrong and they wanted $5 to add gyro meat to their "Greek omelette." The owner notified the police, who filed a case with Florida's Atty. General, charging us with a dash and run. Mind you, we sipped a couple sips of coffee and noticed the omelette was missing gyro meat. We left $10 for the coffee, but that wouldn't do for the owner. If could give them 0 stars I would. One star is generous. We ordered Greek omelette. Not knowing they have 2 kinds! Their Greek omelette has tomatoes and feta cheese in it. That's it. The gyro Greek omelette is what a normal Greek omelette has in it. Gyro meat, tomatoes, feta cheese and onions. Rather than redoing the omelette, the cook wanted to charge $5.00 to give us gyro meat. Whoever heard of such a thing! Obviously the customer is not considered very important here. Any reputable restaurant will make sure the customer is happy. We gave them $10 for our coffee. They insisted we pay the $19 charge for an omelette we didn't want! We left with threats that they'd report us to police. They wrote down our license number. Good luck with that! How about looking out for your paying customers? Don't waste your time or money here. The food is expensive at $15-17 for any omelette. Much better places in Winter Haven for great food, reasonably priced food and great customer service. Just beware of this horrible restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem for Legoland travelers. Great customer service and the food was delicious. The breakfast quesadillas were delicious, and they were very flexible for my picky niece. Wish I lived in town to make it my favorite breakfast stop!

Disgusting worst corned beef sandwich ever. Greasy , tough and skimpy thin sandwich. Very overpriced for the quality and quantity of food here. Bad food and dirty floor diner, would not recommend and I will never go back .

Breakfast was delicious! Had the Alex Special. 2eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon and 2 sausage. Great price!

Restaurant owner should consider changing her attitude to attract customers. It doesn't matter where the customer is from, or what color of the skin is, each customer deserves to be treated with respect.
