Sophia's Trattoria

Loved their breakfast! I really enjoyed the frittata with butternut squash and arugula salad. Their French toast was good too!

Got to eat here twice during our stay with the Conrad, once for dinner and once for breakfast the next morning.Dinner - absolutely amazing service and food. Started with a spritzy cocktail and a Negroni. On the magical dining menu, we ordered one of each since there were four of us. Top picks: octopus pasta (the most tender octopus I've ever had and I loved it, portions were huge), beef carpaccio (def getting this again, the tender meat and sharp cheese is chefs kiss), pistachio cheesecake (MUST GET, I'm still thinking about it)Breakfast - I think their dinner is more impressive. I got the pear grain bowl and it was delish but not worth the price it felt. My fam raved about the chia seed pudding though Will be back even if we're not staying at the Conrad!

This was an ok experience. And I'm being generous with 3 stars. We ordered the tuna to start and that was good. We were given complimentary bread and that was stale and hard. As someone who makes their own bread, that was awful. The sauce had potential. We also got a side of the mushroom risotto. This was extra salty. All I tasted was salt and the risotto was a little hard. I took a bite and had to leave the rest. Finally my lasagna tasted good but I took most of it to go since the service was so slow and I had to leave. It wasn't until the next day at my house that I noticed my lasagna leftovers were all burnt. Finally the ambience was weird. There was no music or nothing and for only there being three other tables, there were lots of servers running around looking busy but yet our service was so slow and the manager was flirting with a group of women dining.Finally the tiramisu was so sad, it was mostly just crème. No restaurant has made me want to jump into the kitchen and teach them how to cook more than this.

The check-in service was horrible. Maybe management should staff the restaurant better for better service. The ambiance is nice, as it is in the Conrad Hotel. We had the breakfast buffet, which was mediocre at best--not something I would expect from Conrad.

Staying at the Conrad Orlando for the first time and decided to try the price fixe Magical Dining menu here for dinner. The sophisticated yet warm decor matched the Maldives-esque water front view and the open kitchen did not cause a hectic atmosphere as they can sometimes do. The waiter, Devone, was extremely attentive and personable. He made sure to address my allergy concerns upfront and took extra care to speak with the chef regarding needed dietary accommodations. From the drinks to the dessert and everything in between, no bite was left uneaten as the flavors and textures perfectly complemented one another. My only food critique would be that the portions were too large. If you are eating with others, I would recommend sharing an appetizer or two and entree as all alone were a meal in themselves. I look forward to dining here again next time we are in town.

This restaurant is located in the Conrad Hotel, we came for brunch and the food was good. It was nothing crazy spectacular but everything was good. It is valet only and they do validate SOME of the cost for parking but they do still make you pay a portion. The sangria was delicious!!

I finally got to visit the Conrad Orlando and had the chance to dine at the Sophia Trattoria for dinner! For starters, our server had recommended the potato puffs so we decided to give it a try and it surely did not disappoint! For entree, my boyfriend had ordered the pork ragu while I ordered the braised short rib and both entrees were amazing! For desserts we had ordered a chocolate mouse cake to share which were also good! I think adding a vanilla ice cream to this dessert would make it perfect! Overall, we enjoyed our food at Sophia! Surely we will be back with our friends next time! Servers are nice but the service was a little slow even though there was only a few customers. The place has plenty of tables and the ambiance was good!

We celebrated our five year anniversary at the Conrad this year and chose to eat here with a party of 14. We were able to make a reservation and had a small section to ourselves which was nice since we had small children with us. Alfredo was our service and he was the absolute best !! The food and drinks were amazing- we still talk about it ! Can't wait to come back !

What a great place!!I can say that I really enjoy every aspect of this place. We are staying in the hotel and wanted to nice birthday dinner for a family member I am so so glad we chose this place. The server which her name happens to be Sophia was great she helped us translate the menus and was very knowledgeable of every single thing on there. We got what was recommended and I am glad we did. To start we got the Straciatella the figs were so fresh and the cheese paired perfect. For the children we ordered the fish and ship. The fish was fried perfectly and the chips (fries) did kinda look and taste like McDonald's fries but I am not complaining. For main dish we got Casarecce this pasta was great the sauce was smooth and we got the gluten free. Strozzapreti Al Bianco this was my order it was smooth and the octopus was cooked to perfection melted properly in my mouth. I will love to get this again. We also got 2 pizzas Puglia and Campagna. The dough was so good and every topping was fresh and paired perfect. The food combinations were great this menu took time and passion. Huge congrats to who made it. There was no bland plate and no plate that I can say this was a bad idea. The restaurant it's self over looks the beautiful lagoon pool and the table was perfect for 9 of us.You can see in the kitchen and the smells coming from it were as good as the food.

"Maddie" a waitress/manager from a restaurant in the bottom floor. Restaurant name "Sophia trattoria" was rude and had an attitude every time I've spoken to her. Whether it was asking for napkins or anything. She was very impolite and pretended not to hear at certain times, while requesting something. Not sure how she got hired, if you don't want to serve people, get another job.
