Can't go wrong with this place! It is conveniently next to Lotte Market which I frequent for my weekly groceries.Their service is very quick and the staff attentive. They have an expansive dining area which is nice. Their prices are comparable to other KBBQ spots around the area but I really like the quality of their meats and banchan here. If you're not looking for all you can eat, they also have an ala carte menu and options that do not involve KBBQ! I tried their tofu soup set and my waiter was very attentive and gave me a tip to add some barley tea (which is complimentary) to the bottom of my stone pot rice as an additional porridge for my meal. A definite go to!

Complimentary BBQ smellWhatI got the seafood pancake which seem a bit more on the burnt side but nonetheless it was tasty. It was loaded with seafood. I also got the tofu soup with seafood and hot stone rice. The hot stone rice was interesting, it was very hot and then got burned... remember to stir it up so it doesn't burn! Unless you want the crisp rice to add into the soup. The soup was pretty good, there was a decent amount of seafood and tofu, plus the egg! I was able to select the protein to add, which I did seafood. I also got the squid stir fry, it was also very tasty, I like that it came on a hotplate so it stayed hot all the time. It was spicy and a bit more on the sweet side.EnvironmentLocated in the Lotte plaza, so there is quite a bit of parking available outside for free. The inside had a lot of seating, there is also BBQ available, and they seat you accordingly. Niceness of the staffvery nice staff tough could be forgetful and attentive when we needed more banchans. But overall they are friendly.DollarIt was decently priced, everything was at least 12$. Great portion for sharing

SGD is a famous Korean tofu stew franchise so the taste is pretty standardized across the restaurants. Hence, I am never disappointed with the classic soon tofu they serve here along with rice cooked in hotstone pot (the best part about this place). Also conveniently located next to lotte market, so can go Asian grocery shopping before or after dining here. Overall, solid option to consider when you are nearby!

Located in the same plaza as Lotte Supermarket we were a little skeptical of going to this restaurant since the previous owner/restaurant wasn't that great. However it was pretty good! Food was good, we had the AYCE bbq buffet which also came with the egg, side dishes, soybean soup, etc. The variety was great and quality of food the same. Service was excellent as well.

We found the beef bulgogi well marinated and the thinly sliced pork belly tastier than other K-BBQ places. The soft tofu and glass noodles sides were enough to fill you up. Service was quick, the empty plates were removed right away clearing the table for more food to cook of wanted. For 2 people, 4 orders of meat and 3 side dishes were enough. The condiments/banchan were all good and I think can be refilled as requested. Casual ambiance, it wasn't smoky but you'll still smell like bbq just not as much or strong unlike other places which was a plus.

A great place to get some quick Korean food! Not that this is necessarily a super casual spot but the service is so fast! The banchan is brought out pretty quickly and they had a lot of my favorites: fish cake, cucumbers, and mashed potatoes! The soondubu came out sizzling hot with rice in a stone pot. And it was so satisfying to hear the bowl sizzle and have that crispy rice at the end. It also came with a good amount of meat. The ulmyeon was so filling and they really did not skimp on the seafood. It was hot and homey with just a touch of spice to warm you up. And the noodles were perfectly chewy without being soggy.

A relatively new restaurant right in front of Lotte, it's a great spot to have a meal before or after grocery shopping. They offer a good variety of Korean dishes including bbq, soondubu jjigae, bibimbap, naengmyeon, and more. Soondubu jjigae seems to be their speciality, you can choose what protein you want for your stew (beef, seafood, pork, dumplings, etc), how spicy you want it, and whether you want rice or noodles with it. They also provide similar choices to go with their bibimbap. They also offer a variety of bento sets and appetizers like tteokbokki, japchae, and pajeon and so it's definitely a great place to go if everyone wants to eat something a little different. The banchan was great! Lots of different stuff. And they even provided hot boricha with our meal. The place has a nice bright, spacious interior and was very clean. All the staff were exceedingly nice and were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. Definitely a solid Korean restaurant!

I have been excited to try So Gong Dong Tofu and BBQ, which is in the same plaza as Lotte market after seeing tons of hype on social media. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were promptly greeted and seated. The inside was clean and inviting, without the overpowering smoky smell that can sometimes be present at KBBQ restaurants. Each table has it's own ventilation system, which I am sure helps. There was a carafe of hot barley tea at the table, which was delicious. We opted for to order from the regular menu instead of doing the self cook at your own table option. The server brought out and assortment of banchan, and everything was fresh and delicious. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi bento box, which came with rice, noodles, salad, spring roll, shrimp and a pork dumpling. The portions were huge and everything was very tasty and hot! My husband got the beef bibimbap in a stone bowl and it came out sizzling and was wonderful! We left feeling full and happy. I can't wait to go back to try the KBBQ. Service was friendly and prompt, and the menu was easy to understand with tons of options for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian choices.

Incredibly friendly service and unlimited small plates while you wait.. and you don't wait long. The restaurant is incredibly clean(including the washrooms) and the service was so helpful and friendly. We visited right after lunch rush so it was quiet. Everything was delicious and incredibly filling. This Korean establishment is definitely a hidden gem. Found in the parking lot of Lotte, it's a great place to fill up so you don't overspend at the grocery afterwards:)

We spotted this restaurant when looking for a Korean restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a beef sundubu jjigae and a beef sundubu with ramen + la galbi combo. It was such a good deal for the la galbi as it was only ~$10 to $15 extra. The la galbi by itself costs $30. The food was excellent and we also got 6 different complimentary side dishes. We were here on a weekday evening and there were a few tables already seated but service was still fast. We definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon!
