Great place for brunch with some creative menu items like a mimosa flight and bacon flight. We got a sweet starter to split between 4 people and tried the breakfast tacos, which were delicious.Busy on Sundays - reservations are recommended and we're glad we had one!Parking is very difficult in the area especially on Sundays with the farmers market. If you park in the garage (likely you'll have to) it's $4 for 0-1 hours, $8 1-2 hours, and increases from there.

stopped by Soco in Thornton Park for takeout and ordered their famous dumplings. They're listed as a small plate with a two-count for $17, but here's a tip: if you ask nicely, they can make it an entrée with four dumplings for $36. While it might seem pricey, they are absolutely worth it--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor!The restaurant was nearly empty when I went, but I think it was just the time of day. Regardless, the food quality speaks for itself.

The ambiance was perfect for work networking gathering . The servers were friendly and attentive: The three course meal came out very timely and was savory. From the appetizers to the dessert ... it was perfect !!

5 stars for brunch. Everything we had was really really good - the "bacon, egg and cheese" shrimp & grits, crispy fried chicken and French toast, and especially the Soco style chicken and dumplings! We walked in on a Saturday afternoon in November and it seemed pretty lively, but we were able to be seated immediately outdoors. Service was friendly too.

popped in just for drinks and dessert the other night. The bar was packed, so we sat at a table. They seemed a bit understaffed, but our server and the hostesses were nice and working very hard. The dessert was just ok. Very meh The weirdest part was the tableware. They dropped off napkins (not folded, just draped on the table across from us), the spoons we got were obviously oversized soup spoons that did not work for the dainty dessert containers and the stem wear was...interesting. We chatted about coming back to try dinner soon, but the prices did not seem to match the menu items. We'll definitely give it a try again, but maybe just get it to go.

Like everyone else I am here to rave about the chicken and dumplins and biscuits! I was incredibly surprised! These are not your average dumplins. Beautiful mushroom sauce and lots of stuffing inside! Appreciated that the wine list had an Alexis wine as well! The service was friendly and warm and was easy to get a spot at the table even on a Saturday night!

We always enjoy coming to Soco. It's a bit of a drive but always worth it. The ambience is one of the nicest in downtown Orlando. It feels very clean and sophisticated. The food options, presentation and quality are great. We've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. They also have a variety of options, ranging from southern staples to healthier options, and everything in between. I really appreciated their mocktail menu. And then the service is consistently great. We will keep coming back to support as we love Soco!

First time here for brunch. I felt a little bad for the wait staff as we had a bit of a chaotic bunch with seven adults, and three little kids, but our server, Whitney was professional, attentive, and very accommodating. A bottle of champagne for mimosas was a very reasonable $19 with accompanying choice of juices, including orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and cranberry. The Food was extremely tasty. I went with a choice of vegetarian tacos; the tortillas were flour but of a very interesting consistency; however, I really liked them a lot! The cheesy grits were super good also ! Other than a couple of mix ups with drinks, this was a very enjoyable experience!

After a frustrating brunch reservation elsewhere, SoCo came to the rescue! Despite not having reservations, they seated us immediately, even during their busy brunch service, which was a nice surprise.Their menu offers creative twists on Southern classics, and I decided on the avocado toast. Our server, Arianna, suggested adding salmon, and she was spot on--so tasty! My only complaint is that I wish there had been more on my plate. I kicked off brunch with a refreshing cold brew and then, of course, tried the mimosas. The cranberry mimosa was the perfect touch to round out the meal.Overall, SoCo delivered great service, a fun menu, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area looking for a solid brunch spot!
