Sobik's Subs

You don't see many Sobik's Subs around anymore. I haven't seen one beyond this particular location in years upon years, possibly even over a decade.Today's special was either a cod sandwich or a cod basket. I decided to go a healthier route and got a turkey sub. Overall, the sub wasn't bad. So I will say, I definitely have had better.They're not far off of both Interstate 417 and Interstate 4, so it is a good place to get off and grab a quick meal and get back on the highway if you are traveling.There was a bit of a line, but it was lunch time so that is to be expected. Honestly, I'm between giving it three stars and four stars. However, I'm going to go up a point and go with four stars simply because this particular location has stood the test of time and has survived what I have seen so many other so many Sobik's Subs fall to the side as other national sub chains have grown in the market.

Ordered a quick sandwich while on break. Not bad, you can tell they just went through a lunch rush and I was at the tail end. I ordered an 8" turkey and Swiss sub with toppings. Ordering line has limited space for Covid measures so I would suggest delivery or pick up. Everyone wore masks and signs were everywhere for policy and procedures. On the other hand, my sandwich was just okay, possibly needs some love but not the worse sandwich I ever had and customer service was mediocre.

Stay away from this place. Prices are out of control. You can get a much bigger portion at LaSpadas for much less. This was the most pathetic salad I've seen for 13.99. Never coming back.

Never got to order. There were two parties ahead of me when I got there (5 total people), and during the 20 minutes I was waiting for them to get through those, I read reviews for LaSpada's (had never heard of them before today but they are awesome) and went there instead. If you have a ton of free time, maybe give Sobik's a try. I don't though.

Ordered for pickup via Uber eats. When I got there they tried to hand me my order with only 1 of 2 sandwiches and I had to wait for them to make the second. Instead of French fries, I got bland tater tots. I ordered 2 Ultimate Steak & Cheese subs, both were missing green peppers, one was missing mushrooms too. Besides that, the sandwiches were flavorless. They tasted like all the ingredients had been boiled.Very poor experience.

1st. time there (10.02.22)..Went to Harbor Freight and on the way back my wife & I decided to stop in and check out the place as we like Subs .. Ordered a 12" Club Sub Wheat bread.. As LORI cut it open I said I like lots of Mayo on my sub.. She started spreading it on and I said I'll say when there's enough, then she proceeded to ask me is that enough after a few seconds when I said more she said sarcastically "Should I put the whole tin on it? As if she owns the place and wants to save 20cents worth of Mayo! What a ridiculous thing to say to a paying customer as on the wall it says they serve you like you like it.. I should have just said are you making it for me or for you? And also have said, stuff it up your ying yang and walked out! Though it tasted ok, We won't ever go back.. It's going to be Manzoni's (WOW!), Laspada's (YES!) or Subway again as they make it as the customer likes it.,..Roger D.H.

I should have tried Sobik's Friday special of "Steak and Fries for $7.99" as that's what I believe they are known for. Well, maybe next time! It was about 10am on a Friday when we stumbled upon Sobik's, so it wasn't strange that were literally no customers there (which was fine by us due to the COVID-19 situation). As soon as we entered the place looked spotless and there was a worker doing spot cleaning which was another good sign. They were fully staffed and ready to create sandwich masterpieces. I saw a picture of a Reuben by the entry line that looked incredible and swayed me enough to want to try it. In about 5 minutes out came this picturesque Reuben ready to be devoured. It was slightly pressed and toasted to perfection. It was delicious but very small for about $9. My thought is to go for the specials of the day so you feel better about the prices. Otherwise it was good. They also seem to have a very diverse menu selection. I'd be willing to bet everything is good and don't mind going back to try other items.

When you order food and half your order comes, you get flustered. The steak and cheese use to be thick and juicy, not this time.So being miffed about 2 subs delivered and 2 subs and fries...NOT!!!WTA...You order delivery for a reason!!They refuse to make it right. How many excuses...we got at least 6!In today's world, Unacceptable, bad business, not concerned about recurring customers... you have definitely lost some customers...without doubt, AS OF TODAY

NEVER EAT HERE. I came in to get two subs. Kid with the curly hair def was high on the job. Makes my sandwich then gives it to the Uber eats driver?! Then says he's gonna remake it. My sub was soggy and wet. Everything was falling apart. Looked like dog food honestly. If I can rate this place a negative stars I would. Never again
