Smokey Jay's BBQ

My family LOVES Smokey Jay's ! We have been long term fans since trying the BBQ cups at lake Eola about 5-6 years ago. Since then we have used them for catering birthdays , baby shower and summer events for my husband's football team. The service is amazing and the food is always delicious! We support them any chance we get and love that we can now go and sit down and chat in their restaurant.5 stars all around from Coach Benson's Family

I was looking for a soulfood/BBQ in the East side of Orlando and they came up in the search. It's a quaint location tucked inside of a strip mall. When I was greeted with friendly smiles and service. First off...never go to a restaurant hungry after a day of errands. I ordered ribs/chicken combo, wings, fried orka, lima beans and key lime cake. The food is REAL good and everything is homemade (cakes made by the owner's mother). The only thing for me was that the orka and beans had a little too much salt for my liking.Overall the food was really good. The staff are super friendly and I'll be back to try more items on the menu. I'm glad there's some restaurant diversity coming to the East side of Orlando.

Hands down the best bbq in East Orlando. Huge portions and the bbq sauce is to die for. We loved everything we ate, and the owners make you feel like family. They are located off of Colonial Drive in East Orlando and also have a food truck on Sundays at Lake Eola off of Washington Street. Y'all really need to check them out. Finger licking good bbq.

Best Barbecue in Orlando hands-down! Such a hidden gem!We went for lunch and had the beef brisket, barbecue chicken, smoked sausage, and ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh! And not to mention went perfect with the mustard based barbecue sauce!The ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned. The briskets were in chunks, but was very tender also! We also had sides of mac and cheese, bbq beans, yams, collars greens, and corn bread! Everything was delicious and homemade. The beans had a hint of cinnamon which added a unique flavor to it. Always love to see yams on a menu too! Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for really good barbecue!

such great bbq had to try some after passing their stand at the lake eola market because it smelled so great. The gentleman that took my order was supperrr nice. The mac and cheese was some of the best mac i have ever had. The sauce they put on the meat is gassss. We will definitely be taking our family to the restaurant to let them try.

Real smoked and seasoned BBQ with a fantastic house sauce. Everything was great but the yams, beans, brisket, and sauce were exceptional. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The store itself was pretty small and casual and I appreciated the seating to eat-in instead of being takeout only.

Attention to Service and speed to get my food order out after the system didnt populate my order. Food was amazing. We ordered the pork ribs with mac n cheese and a side of baked beans which were both amazing. The chopped brisket was tender and flavorful. Def would recommend them again

Food was exceptional! Came on a Saturday afternoon and service was quick, place was nice, and the food quality was amazing, my group got the brisket and chicken and cleared our plates! Very tender and flavorful

Had them cater a party. I must say everything tasted wonderful and the mac&cheese was beyond amazing. Will use them again.
