If you think Donuts and BBQ don't go together, you're 100% correct. WTF were they thinking? If they called this Smoke OR Donuts, then I'm 100% on board (like it's a train or something). I Choo Choo Choose one or the other, but not Both. The platter with brisket and pork belly was good. The brisket was legit good brisket, but the pork belly was a bit tough and overdone. The sides and pickles and other stuff they added were all good and made for a good presentation and filling lunch.I enjoyed the Donut and I enjoyed the BBQ, but the combination donut/bbq sandwich just didn't work. Nothing was good enough where I crave going back though.

The smoke and donuts cafe is so quaint and welcoming!! It gives a small town down home vibe despite being in the heart of downtown Orlando. I do love the friendly and super knowledgeable staff such as Ian who took time to guide us through the menu. Their bbq turkey is sooo yummmy!! I found their Brussels sprouts equally delicious and also perfectly balanced in crispiness and juicy.

I've driven by this place several times and today decided to stop and try for lunch. It's Saturday and we were welcomed immediately by the Owner Ian (who co-owns with his wife). We let him know it was our first time here and he gave us two menus and let us know after each meal you get a free fresh glazed donut. Already off to a great start! After 11 AM they serve their full menu plus a brunch menu on weekends only. They have a robust BBQ menu from platters to sandwiches and everything done in-house including their sauces. Plus, you can order house baked donuts and even build your own with toppings of your choice. It's very casual, and they have a pretty stocked bar and serve espresso drinks. After we ordered at the counter, took our number and sat down, we were given a pork rind to nosh while we sat. Now, I don't care for them, but other diners seem to enjoy and it was a nice and amuse-bouche ;) I'm a sucker for brunch so I ordered the Smoked Turkey Breast, egg and cheese sandwich with runny yolk. It was PHENOMENAL! For only $12 (in today's inflated economy) I was presented with a soft, large potato bun housing tender, perfectly seasoned turkey carved - not deli-style and sliced - thick and juicy steak-cut style. Melted on top was a thick Gouda cheese slice, a perfectly cooked "runny" egg topped with fresh cranberry sauce. I can't say enough about my meal, the presentation and service! They are very intentional to let you know you do NOT bus your own table, they take care of everything even though you order at a counter. The after meal treat of a glazed donut was not only tasty and fresh, but a nice and unique touch and ending to a fantastic lunch. They just started a rewards program for birthdays and texts for specials. I will definitely be going back!

We came here for lunch on a Saturday & loved it! They offer a free hot glazed donut with every bbq order right now, which we didn't realize until they walked out with them after we sat down. The best donut I've ever had, and I don't usually like glazed donuts. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Brussels sprouts, and my husband ordered slice brisket with a side of Mac & cheese and baked beans. They have sauces on the side that you can add if you like as well. Everything was very tasty and we will definitely be back!

So, I've been dying to try this place. Like for awhile. Worked out today. I hate the lack of parking that was offered, but for a good meal, I'll suck it up. The vibes inside are cool and there's patio seating for anyone who wants some fresh air. Orange donut: pretty good. Soft and full, flavor was pretty bangin too. Probably my favorite thing about the meal. Honey corn fritters: these were a fail for me. They were just alright. Didn't remind me of grabbing a corn fritter from big mommas house. They were lacking something. Pork rinds: these were so good. It was sweet hearing the cracking as they were brought to the table was sweet! The dipping sauce was nice too I ordered the meat sampler. Brisket, smoked sausage, and smoked Turkey. The smoked Turkey was my favorite thing on the menu. The flavor was great with the spiced rub on the top. The smoked sausage was alright. But the brisket was pretty good! Juicy? Yes. Full of flavor? YesThis place is pretty cool. The donuts were ballin and the meat was phenomenal. The sides were not great. Idk if I talked about the max and cheese but I made better Mac the night before. So, that was a bummer. I'm obviously gonna come back and give the other sides a try because the meats were that good. Overall a solid 4 out of 5 for me. Oh yeah; the cornbread was cold. That was a bummer.

I'm shocked how bad this place was. I was sure I'd be getting a tasty meal. Boy oh boy was I wrong. My spouse got the side dish sampler. She got mac and cheese, green beans, and fries. The only side that wasn't garbage were the fries. They were just plain old boring fries. The green beans tasted like it had the slightest hint of lemon and nothing else. The mac and cheese tasted like mac and salt.I got the turkey platter. I had the mac and cheese with it and it was as bad as my spouses. I also got fries that were the 2nd best thing on my plate. The best was the tiny square of corn bread that tasted like it had just come out of the fridge or freezer. The cherry on top was that the BBQ sauce wasn't anything special either. We also got donuts. They were okay. Nothing special and definitely not worth $5+ per donut. I'm still so surprised at how bad this place was. But the staff were all super friendly and it was clean. Speaking of things that aren't hot. My turkey was just warmer than room temperature with a cold goo on it. The menu said it was butter but it was just flavorless goo. Much like the flavorless turkey.

My daughter and I finally got to make it to smoke & donuts. We have been eyeing it since we saw the construction. We got two donuts and it did not disappoint unfortunately we did not get to try their BBQ but will be coming back soon to try it. The donuts are so good they are more in the clary side but still really good.

So I finally tried Smoke & Donuts after many suggestions to do so. I however only had enough room left in my belly for one donut. The donut was delicious. I am however giving a 4 out of 5 star rating though because my donut was not hot like I was expecting. I will say, I got the build your own donut and loved the generous amount of toppings provided on my donut. But if you are looking for just a sprinkle of sprinkles, or touch of glaze, maybe just get their plain jane donut. You pay $1 per topping so they give you your whole $1 worth!I would also like to say that although I have not tried it myself, I have heard multiple times over that their smoked turkey is outstanding.

Ate lunch here with two friends yesterday. One was running late and the manager asked if we wanted him to keep her food under a heat lamp for her, which we thought was so nice and thoughtful. I was a big fan of Smoke and Donuts when they were at A La Cart. Happy they have their own brick and mortar now! It's very cute inside and is a great place to meet friends or have a solo meal. I got the brisket platter which comes with two sides and cornbread plus some pickles and onions. It was a little more than what I typically like to spend for a weekday lunch but I had leftovers and was able to make two meals out of it, so actually it wasn't bad. They do have lunch specials and lots of other sandwiches which are more typical lunch pricing. The brisket was great and actually my favorite part of the meal was the green beans! I would rush back for those green beans, which is not something I'd ever think I'd hear myself say. They also do catering and I used them for Thanksgiving 2022 and they were great. Their donuts are also delicious (and I'm not a donut person). Check them out if you haven't already!
