Slap the Apple Memphis Style BBQ

Nope! We should've left when she said she didn't have brisket, shame on us. Ribs were more like fatty tips, no flavor. Jerk chicken was just grilled chicken with a hint of heat, nothing but a little grill flavor. Could've used a few more minutes on the grill. Plenty of feathers on chicken legs, two pieces also had odd bone sticking out of the top of the leg, must've been the thigh joint, I hope. Sausage, just NO! Not the right texture or taste for me and I LOVE sausage. Mac and cheese, no flavor, just noodles. Store brought potato salad. Bbq sauce taste more like sweet baked bean juice, very thin/liquid like vs a sauce. 1 star only for the convenience of having semi truck parking. Don't waste your money!

we were visiting Florida for the xmas holiday. happened upon these guys with a smoker in the parking lot of Publix Grocery . on our way into publix, they greeted us and told us about what they had. we needed cash so we told them we'd stop back on our way out. they gave us a couple of jerk chx legs to tide us over. needless to say, we ended up with $70 worth of bb ribs, three chx, two sausages and two sides. enough food for our 17 family members. also worth noting, these guys donate what they don't sell to the local homeless communities, and have a radio show called 'peace on the streets'.wonderful folks, delicious bbq, a must try if in the Orlando area.

We saw this as we were driving by, and later that day we stopped on the way back. I'm from Maine so I've never really been to a real bbq place. We got a full rack of ribs and they give you a big portion. The ribs were amazing and the guys are super friendly. We would have definitely got ribs here again if we weren't staying almost an hour away. But if you're in the area or driving by on 27 you should definitely stop by.

We stopped for this bbq on the way home. They have a big smoker grill. The food was good but really spicy. We got the couples retreat. It included ribs,chicken,sausage, and other cuts of pork. It was a large portion. The chicken could of used a few more minutes on the grill. We asked for bbq sauce on the side they squirted very little on the side of the container. We didn't get any bread with this platter. They do have seating outside by the grill.

Amazing chicken & beans. Wonderful customer service and went out of the way to ensure we were happy with our meals. Saving this as a favorite.

Stopped on my way home, I could smell it from rt. 27. It was not disappointing. Meaty, tasty, and not too sweet. Gentlemen helping me out was very much a bbq guy. Great job, and your sauce was better than SBRays....David @50floor....

RV trip back home to NC. The produce stand, Lanier's Produce, is what caught our attention. But, the smoke from that big grill is what caught my tummy. For some ribs, chicken, & sausage. Get your hand wipes ready and a piece of light bread bc the food is lip smacking good, spicy, and all that!

Excellent food and service. Very convenient. Brisket must be preordered. I will surely be doing that next time!

food was good, pricey, platter is not a platter. one side not included. pulled pork sandwich platter, side not included $20. side of potato salad $5. I was not in Ohio, but the same meal is a sit down restaurant would be at most $15. Buyer beware is my recommendation.
