Quiet Sunday afternoon. Only us and our server/cook Andre.Service was fast and efficient, Andre did a great job and was working hard! The restaurant was clean, well lit, and temperature was great. The cheeseburger loaded fries had great flavor, I would definitely order again.The wings were ok, they were well prepared but we didn't love the flavor or texture. Wife agreed she wouldn't re order, but we would revisit. 3.5 stars All in all it a cool little spot right off highway 27

This small little hole in the wall in Davenport has been much talked about in our community. My wife and I decided to go there on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed, there was no customers in the dining room. We were greeted and told that we could sit anywhere.We soon found out that all of their drinks come in cans with no offer of ice only a straw. My wife and I both ordered the main lobster roll. It was priced in the $22 range and we were super excited for a new lobster. Roll shop close to our home. When the entrées came out, we were shocked at how small the lobster rolls truly were. The taste was very good. The bun was buttered, and the lobster was tasty and refreshing. The fries were crisp and seasoned well too.I'm not sure that I will go back to this place only due to the fact that it was not a good value.

My husband and I went for my birthday and enjoyed ourselves tremendously! Service and food was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Skippers I highly Reccomend to All Food is delicious! Restaurant and Facilities are all very clean and they staff are all very friendly!!!

Skippers Down East Galley 43360 Highway 27Davenport Fl 33837For those of you who know this area Skippers is next door to Mannino's Pizzeria in that hidden strip mall across Highway 27 from Posner Square. Some say Manninos has been there for a long time. My guess is that Skippers isn't going to make it through to Easter Sunday! The quality is better than I expected, but the quantity of lobster meat in either the Connecticut Lobster Roll or the Maine Lobster Roll was hardly recognizable. If we lose Skippers it will be their own fault. They are charging $23.00 for about 2 ounces of lobster with french fries and coleslaw. That's equal to $184.00 per pound of lobster.Don't blame it on the overhead, or the cost of labor. There were at least four employees and the owners daughter on duty with only four of us in the restaurant. Four more came as we left. I hope they had more earlier and we were just at the end of the night crowd. (5:41 pm) I would much rather go to Bar Harbor Seafood Company in Orlando (near Costco) and buy the lobster myself. It doesn't take a graduate of the American Culinary Institute to make Lobster Rolls.Skippers, I'll skip the next time.

had an amazing meal for lunch. lobster club came out perfect, bread crispy, generous portion of meat. had the baked beans and coleslaw, both different and delish! had a great server (Amy) who let me try a couple of their signature sauces and dips and had a very sweet demeanor, she was so attentive! . Their menu is creative and offers exactly what you're looking for. can't wait to go back again!

Hostess was great but that's about where it ends. Calamari was rubbery and tasted stale as could be. The Connecticut Roll was dissatisfying. 90% butter 5% bread and 5% lobster meat. My wife did enjoy the Maine roll so between that and the service. I won't give it 1 star. Unfortunately we are disappointed that this was one of the few places serving lobster rolls. Hoping they improve

I stopped by a few weeks ago to get a copy of their menu which was not available and noticed they had seafood chowder as a special that day so I ordered a bowl for takeout. I was very impressed by the portion, flavor and amount of seafood. The price was $15 which I feel is high although it is comparable with Celebration Town Tavern.Last night I placed the same order and was extremely disappointed since the portion was half of the original order. I can't speak to the flavor or amount of seafood since I bought it for a friend.

Food was amazing. The service was excellent. Loved the lobster roll. Definitely will be back. Really enjoyed it.

Finally made it to Skippers & I am beyond impressed! The venue looked beautiful; how creative and cozy. The staff was excellent; they greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and were quick to make recommendations and answer all of my questions. Payment for my Togo order was simple and done with a QR code - pretty cool! I ordered a Maine Lobster Roll, with fries and coleslaw. Hot buttery roll & cold lobster that was seasoned PERFECTLY. The fries were fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly which of course complements the crunchy/cold slaw. Skippers is a great addition to our area and we can't wait til the next time!
