Simple Soup N Sammich

I was taking the auto train at the Amtrak station and ordered from this food truck.The woman taking orders was super friendly and helped me decide on what to eat. Everything looked very good. She suggested the hot dog and I went with the bacon wrapped hot dog, but without the onions. She was also kind enough to let me try the chips which came with the hot dog, or if I wanted to upgrade to fries for $1. The chip tasted okay, so I ordered the fries. She said the order would be ready in about 15 minutes. Within 20 minutes she called my name and my order was ready. I stopped by the condiment table where they had packets, which was great for traveling. I noticed there wasn't bacon on the hot dog, but that didn't ruin it. I still enjoyed the hot dog and fries. I would order it again, despite the fries not being very crispy. The hot dog was juicy and had a nice skin.The hot dog and fries were $9, which I think was pretty reasonable. You can add a tip if you're paying with the card. If you're taking the train, it seems they accept orders until 3:15.

This place was super yummy. My bf and I both got chicken Phillies, a cup of their chicken and smoked Gouda soup, and a strawberry lemonade. The chicken Phillies are made to order so it's definitely fresh. The chicken is great and the cheese is perfectly melted on top. They throw on their homemade chips too on top and on the bottom. The soup was very creamy and would have made a great dip! We dipped our chips into the soup. The strawberry lemonade was delicious too. Very glad we stumbled upon this. Can't wait to try something else.

I had the gyro with the sauce, onions and lettuce I was so shocked at how delicious the gyro was it came with fries as well and let me tell you they were very seasoned and I loved it ! I also ordered the fried shrimp with French fries the shrimp was so crispy I ate all 12 and I also ate all of my gyro! Everything was sooo on point ! PLEASE COME BACK AGAIN ! This is our first food truck in this community in 4 years I'm very excited!

Sitting here waiting for the Autotrain headed north and outside is a food truck. My wife had the Cuban with fries and I had the gyro with fries. Huge portions and the food was great. Value, fantastic! Additionally, the woman taking the order was nice and friendly as was the owner/cook. If they are here next summer when we come through I'm buying from them again!

I had dinner from Simple Soup N Sammich during the Sanford Jingle Jam. The gentlemen that took my order and made the meal were both so friendly. They were quick and so helpful. They went above and beyond when they saw I had too much in my hand and offered to repackage my food in a different container to allow for me to hold it easier. The food was so good! I ordered the Chicken Philly and it was cheesy and made just how I ordered it. The bread was also so fresh. I got a side of homemade chips and upgraded to loaded chips and they did not disappoint. Great experience overall.

I recently attended an event hosted by Chef Machon and Simple Soup N Sammich, and it was amazing! The catfish was delicious and I would love to plan another event in the near future. The menu was outstanding, and I can still taste it. Your staff was incredible, and their hard work showed through the food and service.st

I had the best, most creative, soul food combination that ever had today at Simple Soup and Sammich. I had the Soul Wrap with catfish, greens, rice and beans. Wrapped up and seasoned to perfection. If you're lucky enough to find this truck I recommend you try the SOUL WRAP
