Side Chik

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. So, let's get into it. Side Chik is in connection to ChiKin. It is a Mexican Korean fusion take on street food. You order at the counter on a touch screen monitor and pay there as well. We found a seat at a table on the Side Chik side. You can also sit on the ChiKin side if you wish, and the fountain drink machine is also located over there. We watched as our food was prepared. The cook had attention to detail, and our food came out so hot and fresh. He was very personable and spoke to us a bit, which was nice.We started with chips and queso. The chips had a good crisp, and the queso was very creamy. I ordered the 2 tacos with one being the soy garlic carnitas and the other being hot honey bbq shrimp. Both I had topped with lettuce, pickled onions, and salsa and sour cream on the side. The tacos were FILLED with meat. For an order of just 2 tacos, they were very filling. The flavors were amazing. My friend got the soy garlic carnitas quesadilla, which was massive. He raved about the cheese used and how creamy that also was. The quesadillas could easily feed 2 people.Thank you for your great food and service!

I met my friends at Side Chik for dinner. It's new and we were excited to try it. It's kind of like an Asian fusion Chipotle. You can choose a bowl, tacos, burrito or nachos. They have similar toppings to chipotle but there are more meat and salsa options. I went with a bowl and bulgogi chicken. They cook the chicken to order, which I loved. As for the food overall, it was good but it didn't blow me away. The chicken was tasty but it was really salty and some of the chicken was a little chewy. We also ordered chips and kimchi queso and the chips were fresh with a yummy seasoning. The chips were the best part of the meal.As for the service, it was exceptional. The guy at the counter could tell it was our first time so he gave us samples of all the salsa. He also brought our food to our table when it was ready.Of course, it's on Mills so parking is incredibly difficult. The restaurant is also not easily accessible for disabled people as there are stairs leading up to it. I'm on crutches and it was a little difficult to enter and exit.Overall, it was good but for the price and considering I wasn't blown away by the food, I'm not rushing to go back but I'd give it another try.

A great place to visit before hitting up the night life around Mills. I've been to the main restaurant Chi-Ken that's attached so this was a great addition with some Mexican/ Korean fusion menu options. The staff was incredible and friendly, always checking up on us to make sure the food was good. I got the bulgogi burrito, which was a great size to keep me full through out the night. Parking like most things on Mills can be a little tough. You have to find the free side parking and walk over but if your going to stay in the Mills area it's a perfect spot to grab some quick food. Glad I stopped by.

Tired there Bolgogi taco and it was life changing. The service was fast and easy to place your order. Same vibes as Chi-Kin and convient that I was able to order from both places and eat both.

Service was top notch. Food is super fresh! Love the name of the restaurant! The decorations inside the restaurant make the environment feel very comfortable. Love all the chicken signs they have up. They are too funny. The kimchi they use is just amazing and the chipotle sauce is prestigious! Their kimchi queso is amazing too! Will definitely be back!!

Delicious custom made bowls. Lots of choices and options for unlimited combinations. The gentleman behind the counter - Q - is super friendly and accommodating.

Korean meets Mexican- I'm here for it! Plenty of options to choose and customize your order, everything tasted amazing! Q was behind the counter and was the absolute sweetest, he was so patient and advised us his favorites and did not miss! Coming back for sure for the quick service and tasty food!

New fast casual spot that's a perfect addition to the Mills 50 area! You choose between a burrito, bowl, quesadillas, nachos, or tacos, then select your protein (or you can do half and half with two), your choice of toppings and then one of four sauces. We tried the jalapeño and the chipotle sauce and both were quite good. Burrito was awesome and would definitely order again! Staff answered all our questions and could not have been nicer. Forgot to take pics... but I'll be back!

Food was delicious and different: Mex/Korean fusion. Service was excellent.We each had bowls with different combinations. We also had chips and kimchi queso.

We came today for our first time not knowing what to get, and both guys here, Q & Pat hooked us up. Super friendly and welcoming, it's definitely a vibe. And of course the food is DELICIOUSSS 100/10
