Shin Jung Korean Restaurant

My new favorite go-to kbbq experience when I'm in Orlando. There was no wait when me and four of my friends got there. We got the Combo B for 5 and it was so good. The bibimbap was so delicious. We added the Japchae because we weren't sure all of the food was enough for us because WE CAN EAT. Everything I ate was so good and there really was just enough food for 5. We split the check 5 ways and it was just around $30-40.

Great Korean BBQ and other standards -- service is prompt and efficient while the atmosphere is pleasant but very active and a bit noisy but it was packed because it's a popular place with great food

I truly enjoyed Shin Jung! It was super clean inside and didn't smell super strong like most kbbq places. The food was great and all of the meats we picked had great amount of taste. We payed about $50-$60 a person and had so much food including an appetizer sample and bibimbab to share. Everyone left full and satisfied with leftovers! Service was great and attentive. The server recommended ways to eat the meat and even brought out more pairings as we ran out. I think it was one of my favorite kbbq experiences to be honest. If you don't like someone hover though you may not enjoy that. Anyways, they are a part of bite 30 so I actually plan on returning again soon!

The restaurant is smaller but well designed and clean. The entire interior is well designed and not too busy. I ordered the seafood pancake appetizer and had the Japchae. My date ordered the dolsolt/bibimbad. Both were absolutely delicious. The small servings of Korean potato salad, kimchi, fish, Etc, were all delicious too. I definitely ordered way too food for two people but the left overs were also wonderful. This is one of my favorite Korean places I've been to so far. I hope to return soon.

I've been coming here for a while (before and after their fire!) and they are one of the tastiest KBBQ in town! Most recently, I went for their new(?) lunch specials since I had the day off of work. They do a 4 person KBBQ for $80 (and an up charge for "better" meats). This is a great deal if you go with 4 ppl (you can go with less) since you get a choice of teobokki or Mandu; choice between stew and bibimbap/dolsot; choice of 3 marinated meats; choice of 1 unmarinated meat or veggie; and unlimited banchan. There was more than enough food and good quality too.

I love coming to Shin Jung Korean, I use to come more before they be built but I'm happy to say the interior looks clean and new but the same set up, which is nice and familiar. I started with green tea which was much needed on this cold day. To eat we ordered fried beef dumplings which were very juicy and tasty. For dinner we had the beef bulgogi and kalbi short rib. The meat was very tender and loved all the sides, my favorite side was the cucumber kimchi. The service was ok but it was late so I'm assuming our waiter was tired, the food speaks for itself. She wasn't needed but never for anything I asked for. Overall, one of my favorite places for Korean.

This place is pretty good. It's a bit small, but it's cool to cook the food. You get a sort of stove in front of you, and I like the idea. The service is nice and food doesn't take too long. Good place overall.

I went here with a friend. I've driven past it so many times. Seeing it in the Michelin Guide, walking past it, I've had many opportunities to go here and somehow I have always ended up somewhere else. I am so shocked it took so long until I finally tried this amazing restaurant. It's on the Michelin guide for a reason. It's good. My friend and I both agreed it looked cozy and has an intimate air to it. I don't know if it was because this particular day I visited that it was freezing in Orlando but the restaurant was rather cold so plan to bring a jacket. We did not get Kbbq and neither did anyone else in the restaurant at the time. So our clothes were saved. I ordered a beef soondubu which was DELICIOUS. I loved every part of it. The quality of the beef was delicious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it warmed me up perfectly. My friend ordered the one of the cold noodles which I NEED to get next time. I tried some and it was delicious as well. Seriously I loved almost everything I got from this place. I ordered fried dumplings (beef) and I wasn't a big fan of them but they were hot and crispy. Just personally not a fan. The server was nice and attentive. Seriously this place is a great spot to meet friends for a late night meal or a lunch date with friends. I need to come back again with a big group.

Came here for Bite 30. So much food! We were more than stuffed and we didn't even eat it all! Everything was interesting and delicious! We started with the beef and chive dumplings and the cabbage and mushroom dumplings, both really good. Every meal also comes with an array of about 10 bowls of Korean nibbles and refills are free! Next we had the certified angus wet aged which you cook on your little grill at your table, we also had the dolsot bibimbap. The angus was more flavorful. Each of these entrees also comes with a bowl of noodle soup. For dessert we went with the hotteok which was a cinnamony Korean pancake with ice cream that tasted like a churros, so yummy!! We also had the toasted rice ice cream and it was delightful, so light and tasty! They also have an orange blossom tea that was so good!! Definitely will be back!

Our lunch was excellent! Antonio helped us navigate the menu and provided wonderful service. The portions were generous and tasted amazing. I appreciated that the menu highlighted GF items and the staff is happy to accommodate allergies. We will definitely return!
