We made a last minute reservation and was luckily able to get one. We were sat promptly. For our drinks, we ordered the Violet Sake and the Shochu Squeeze. Both drinks were good but the Violet Sake was my favorite. We ordered the Grilled Waygu Gyoza and the Sashimi Moriawase. Everything was delicious and the staff was just so friendly.Everything was great quality and I would recommend trying to make a reservation here.

Food was alright, but very expensive. The restaurant seemed pretty busy, so reservations are definitely recommended. The seating is mainly booths, with counter seating surrounding the sushi chefs in the center of the restaurant. Since the food here is double the price of similar food that you can get elsewhere, we ordered just two small dishes.Unagi don: One small piece of unagi on top of a bowl of sushi rice. This is supposedly one of the more popular dishes here. The unagi was just ok - it tasted like the frozen stuff that you can buy at an Asian supermarket. Sushi rice was fine.Deep fried Philadelphia roll: Tasted like a Philadelphia roll. Would be pretty good if it was a reasonable price, but I think this cost $24. It was still one of the cheapest items on the menu.Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant. The quality of the menu items doesn't justify the insane price. Our food was tasted alright/good, but the price caused me emotional damage.

Awful experience and I'd never return. Worst experience of any Disney park restaurant across my visits over the last 20 years. We had reservations. Upon arrival, the hostess took my name and I asked for a table by the window. I indicated that I'm willing to wait. She said "I can take the request, but it's not guaranteed". Again, I reiterated that I'm willing to wait. She repeated herself again. After two minutes, I was called and our table was ready. Our server, Hana S., took us to a table right next to one by a window. I asked if we could sit there. Hana said, "I'm sorry, that is for another customer". WTHeck?! How is another customer able to reserve a table by the window, but I was told by the hostess that I couldn't?Through the course of my meal, I saw 2 or 3 tables by the window open up. That was just salt on the wound. Our server, Hana, was dreadful. She eagerly pointed out the most expensive things on the menu when we first sat and suggested we order those items. After receiving our food, I couldn't find her again. Never got the water I asked for from her when our entrees were delivered. I finally had to ask another server to go find her. She didn't seem to care that she'd been neglecting us. In fact, she ended up asking someone else to get us some water. Our food was average. My son enjoyed his beef Yaki udon, but the portion was small for the price. Our server couldn't even answer our question - what cut of beef is in it? She said huh?? I told her I just wanna know is it's going to be chewy. So she said, "yeah, it's chewy". Anyway glad we tried it anyway cause it wasn't chewy. My daughter liked the dragon roll, but it was just a single sushi roll for $28. It's way overpriced. She was still hungry.I got the sushi bridge and the assortment wasn't anything special. No toro. I wasn't wow'd at all for a platter that costs $100. The "love boat for 2" I get back home costs half as much. Interestingly, there was a cucumber roll on it! Why the heck would you put a cucumber roll on a $100 platter?! I'm without words. The bathroom here is about 2 football fields away. You have to walk down a very long hall, out of this restaurant, through the Teppan Edo restaurant and use theirs. lolEven though I never got a table with a window view, I could see the view is a bit restricted during the fireworks show. Despite what you may have read or heard from vloggers, the view here isn't perfect.Overall, horrible experience, severely overpriced food, terrible service, awful hostess. Such better places to eat in Epcot.

My family had an absolutely lovely experience yesterday evening thanks to the excellent food and service at this restaurant. We made reservations and although my family booked our parties separate and showed up early, the hostess and staff was very accommodating. Not only did they seat us early but arranged a single table for us by the window at my request. The view of Epcot from our table was breathtaking and we watched the sun go down while enjoying our drinks. This is the part helpful for those who have a dining plan! Using our Deluxe Dining Plan, we each redeemed 1 Table Service credit for one of Shiki Sai's prefixe multi-course menu options (Omakase). These options include Nishiki, or Gion (there is also an option for Kids). Each of these two options comes with a starter, alcoholic beverage or non alcoholic beverage, and dessert. Where they differ is Nishiki has two small plates (Izakaya and select Sushi roll) whereas Gion has a main entree. For my drink I got the blue ocean drink and my sister got the yuzu lemonade. They were both delicious but I'd reccomend the Yuzu lemonade as it was more sweet and refreshing and you pour the syrup in separately which is fun to watch. For our starter we all enjoyed the miso soup. Nice and warmNow, I won't speak for the rest of my party as we all chose different things (everyone was happy) but I chose the Nishiki option, so I got an Izakaya plate and sushi. I went with the Salmon Miso Yaki for the former. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and gorgeous presentation. The next course was a small basic roll. I got their Snow Crab california roll and using the leftover Miso Yaki sauce as a dip, I was pleased with the flavor and the ginger was fresh too! Finally we got to choose dessert. The Yuzu Cheesecake was delightfully citrusy, sweet and rich! Small portioned as with everything else! We reccommend this spot to those on the meal plan. You won't leave overly stuffed just comfortablely so. Our server, Ukumi, really went out of her way to make my sister feel special and was patient, kind and professional with all of us. She was a big part of what made this dining experience as special as it was! The presentation of the food and ambience of this restaurant was also top tier. But we were as mentioned above blessed with a good table! It's next door to Teppan-Edo so the main entrance and the restrooms are shared which is my only complaint. You have to walk quite some time to reach the restroom as it's located more in Teppan-Edo. Overall it's good! One note: dining plans do not include gratuity, so even if your meal was "covered" by the credits, TIP THE STAFF!

Magnificent dinner with a great view of the lake at EPCOT.The ambiance inside is elegant, and the food is marvelous. Our server took wonderful care of us.We started with the fried calamari that was really good.I had the spicy crunch roll which was so much better than any sushi rolls I've had in the past.My wife had the Ishiyaki-Sukiyaki Rice bowl which came out in a sizzlingly hot stone bowl where the beef strips, onions, rice, and spinach were prepared for her at the table by our server. It was amazing! For dessert she had the Mango Mousse Cake and I tried my first ever "Plant Based Mochi Ice Cream". Strawberry, Chocolate, and Yuzu flavored balls of frozen tastiness wrapped in a chewy shell. Totally wonderful! This was our first visit to this restaurant, but it will not be our last!

Came here for dinner and it was a 20 min wait. Luckily we got seated by the window (which had the lake view of Epcot). We ordered the unagi don, beef omu udon, chicken nanban and takoyaki. The unagi don is definitely not worth the price here. The appetizers were alright. Food was decent nothing spectacular. The Violet Uzu Lemonade was good! Not sure if I would come back here if im back at the park...

AmbianceVery welcoming. Very clean. Grand entrance.Customer ServiceGreeted cheerfully when u enter. Our server Yukina is from Japan, wore a traditional kimono. Yukina made u feel important and appreciated. She was so polite, professional and soft spoken. I don't recall service this stellar ever.Dragon Roll Had generous portions of fresh unagi, I really love unagi. The roll was served over various drizzled sauces, plating was a work of art.Perfection.Ishiyaki Sukiyaki RiceMeat is sizzling in a stone bowl topped with rice. Sweet garlic sauce and seaweed is mixed in table side.Perfection.It was late else we would have ordered more we wanted to catch the fireworks at 9.What an experience.

Booked dinner here as we spent the day at Epcot. We love Teppan Edo, but wanted to give this restaurant a try as we wanted sushi rather than Teppanyaki. The restaurant is on the small side for a Disney restaurant (unless there was an area wee didn't see). The service was friendly with a predominantly Japanese staff (I'm glad the international staff has returned since Covid). The sushi was excellent, and the only item that was a disappointment was the Rock Shrimp Tempura which was a bit too saucy for us. We had a lovely meal and will be back again in January.

We had several dishes, the beef sukiyaki bowl was very good. The eel on rice was good but a bit sweet. Udon noodles with salmon roe was tasty but perhaps a bit too much butter. Everything was good, food, service and the view and ambiance. The best view restaurant in Epcot if you wait for a window table.

Great place to grab sushi at Epcot. We were seated right next to the windows so we got a beautiful view of Epcot. I love how bright and open this restaurant is. If you have picky eaters, this place may be more difficult for you. I decided to chance it with my son, who is a chicken tenders and fries type kid and was pleasantly surprised by what he ate. For the kids, we got the Kara-age Chicken and beef yaki-udon. What's great about this restaurant is they have pictures of all the dishes on the menu, which is super helpful. Then my friend and I got the Hashi for 2-4. If this is your only dish, it definitely wouldn't feed 4. We were pretty stuffed at 2, we also ate some of the kids yaki-udon and chicken. It is pricy at $100. I found the fish to be pretty fresh and enjoyed it. Service was great, our waitress was wonderful and weirdly we didn't have anyone at the tables next to us for a while so it felt very luxurious. They gave us a kids coloring sheet so the kids were entertained coloring while we waited for our food. If you need to use the restroom it's all the way back past the hibachi restaurant. I enjoyed my meal here and would come back.
