Sharon's Homestyle Cookin'

If you like a country breakfast place in a strip mall with good food and friendly service then Sharon's doesn't disappoint. I always get biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage which they have together as a menu item. I usually have to order something off of the sides. So I celebrated by ordering something else off of the sides menu. The dining room was clean and the furniture was in good condition. A big thanks to Lisa for the most excellent service.

Food: Great Homestyle food, feels just like your eating a classical American homemade breakfast! We ordered the country fries steak and Country Biscuits and Gravy Sampler. Favorite bit was the biscuits they were super smooth and melts in your mouth. The sausages and eggs were well cooked and seasoned as well. Service: The service is fast and very friendly with no issues. You do pay at the end when you finish your meal at the front desk. Ambiance: Feels like your right at home eating a home cooked meal. Very homey feel (:

Sharon's Homestyle Cooking, as the name pretty much implies, offers a menu filled with no-frills, comfort food type offerings in a no-frills type atmosphere served by a friendly staff.Sharon's Homestle Cooking is located in a shopping plaza in Pine Castle, Florida, so parking should not really be too much of a challenge.As I said before, the menu offers basic, comfort food type items, but the food is executed relatively well and the prices were pretty much what you would expect.I was here for breakfast and went with an omelet. It was pretty good and I would definitely recommend it.I have had better, but taking into consideration that it is convenient to the residents of Pine Castle, Florida and are keeping it straightforward and while the food is not overly challenging, they do it pretty good. Overall, I will give it four stars.

Food is always delicious snd comes out fast ... we never have a problem with service and love the staff. If ur looking for home cook style meal Sharron's is your place .. the decor is welcoming and makes you feel right at home ... I totally recommend Sharron's restaurant

Oh my Lord! What a fantastic meal!!This is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall Mom& Pop type place. The service was perfect. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The ambiance was homey and comfortable. The menu options were what you expect, which was exactly what I was looking for. And the food. Huge portions. Freshly prepared with extreme care. Delicious! I ordered the fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes and green beans. I paid a little extra for all white meat, expecting 2 breasts and 2 wings. What a surprise - 4 good sized breasts. So hit and juicy. Not greasy at all. Great experience!!

Sometimes, you don't feel like scrambled eggs a la Gordon Ramsey, or fancy garnishes and plating. Sometimes you are in the mood for just solid home style cooking (but too lazy to get in the kitchen yourself). Sharon's is the place to go when you want that homemade vibe.I'm really glad I stayed open minded and gave this spot another try. I saw a new staff member being trained at the register this morning, so being a bit short staffed definitely could have been a factor in some of the minor customer service glitches I experienced on my last visit. (And someone did check if I was being helped while the trainee and mentor were off in the kitchen grabbing my order : ). Today was breakfast: veggie omelette with home fries, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. (Yes, this was for two people). First of all, the price point for all that food isn't that far off from what I would fork out at the window of a drive through, so definitely a lot of bang for your buck. The veggie omelette features both fresh spinach and mushrooms, which are two ingredients I HATE having frozen or jarred. Admittedly, the home fries don't look exciting, but they had a nice buttery and seasoned flavor. Pancakes were big and fluffy, and served with plenty of syrup. I typically see 2, maybe 3 pieces of bacon as a serving, but it was a solid 4 pieces. I fully understand now why this spot is always packed, and I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Our first time at Sharon's while visiting from California. Tesla and Taylor made our experience exceptional! We ordered Liver and onions, Fried Chicken with Black Eyed Peas, Greens, Potato Salad Fried Cornbread! The Lemon Meringue Pie and our meal was outstanding. The prices were great too!! A must try when visiting the area!!

Excellent service and great atmosphere. I had the eggs benedict with a side of collard greens, which i put on the eggs. That was super tasty. My mom had the fried grouper fillet with green beans. It was super fresh and cooked to perfection. The beans and greens were seasoned just right. There's nothing fancy about this place, just good old fashioned home-style meals done right. Definitely recommend.

I used to live off Michigan Avenue, so my family and I used to eat at Sharon's a lot, back when it was located directly on Orange Avenue. We now have an elderly friend who lives in the area, so we decided to take her here today. Overall we were pleased with our meals and felt the prices were reasonable. I ordered the fried chicken and got mashed potatoes and corn for my sides. Portions were big! Along with a side, the dinner plate comes with a choice of bread and half a chicken. The chicken was very tender and much tastier than fried chicken I've had elsewhere in recent memory. Our friend had the same meal and enjoyed it. My dad ordered a breakfast sandwich and said it was delicious. It also wasn't messy to eat because the ingredients were so neatly assembled. I should also note that several of the things we ordered could have come out very greasy, yet nothing was greasy at all. The service was friendly and efficient. The sign listing the specials and daily sides was really shiny, making it hard to read from where we were seated. But our server was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu, so that wasn't a big deal. I just like to plan ahead lol.The only negative part of our experience was that we were given two checks, instead of one. I think our server could have just asked us, instead of assuming that we were paying separately.Still, we hope to return soon so that we can try some of their other homestyle dishes!

Our favorite breakfast place! Breakfast anytime (until 2PM closing, which is sometimes too early for this retiree ).All the servers treat us like neighbors, the food is always good, and locals like us just love Sharon's. Sundays can be busy enough to start a waiting line but we have always had one of our favorite booths on weekdays. The kind of spot we'd all like to have in our community ‼
