I had the most incredible experience dining at Sear + Sea! We had a reservation for an outside table, and the atmosphere was perfect - live music inside that we could still hear from the terrace. Also, make sure you ask your waiter to validate parking!! Self parking is $38 but they will provide a voucher so parking will be free for you. The service was exceptional, and our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we had a great time. My boyfriend and I shared a dry-aged porterhouse steak (24 oz), and it was simply outstanding. The steak was incredibly flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. I loved that it was cut for us, it made it easier to enjoy! The portion size was more than enough for the two of us to enjoy together! We also tried the Mac n Cheese, which unfortunately was not the best. It wasn't very cheesy! I would suggest trying another side, though all of them are large enough to share! Sear + Sea is a splurge but definitely worth it for a special occasion. The overall experience, from the food to the ambiance, was unforgettable. Highly recommend!

My better half and I took our foodie talents to Orlando for a quick getaway for SUN and FUN! We had to try a couple of Michelin recommended restaurants. First up, Sear and Sea located inside the JW Marriott. Stunning hotel! The restaurant is to the right upon entrance! Super easy to get to. Service at the host stand was excellent. The gentleman greeted us with a smile, was courteous, and made friendly conversation. We walked through the dimly lit restaurant that was decorated with modern decor. We got seated outside, the weather was humid but refreshing with the breeze. The view overlooked the pool area of the hotel. Our waitress was excellent! Let's get into it! Appetizer: Seafood Platter - The king crab was bland. There was no taste, luckily the cocktail sauce was there because it needed it. The lobster also lacked full flavor, it seemed as though perhaps the seafood was in water too long. I wouldn't recommend. I've had better, this was not what we expected. Side: Truffle Fries- To die for! Made to perfection! Now $12 for fries may seem a bit too expensive but they were GOOD! $12 good! Main: Red Snapper was made with a crispy top, perfectly seasoned. This was delicious. Drinks: Cocktails were scrumptious! We headed to the bar after dinner to get more! Score on the drinks! Can't Elope was my favorite. Name was catchy!Overall just 4 stars for me, the 5 star factor just wasn't there. Seafood platter lacked flavor and no manager presence. To be recommended by Michelin I had higher expectations. Still worthy of 4 for me! Sexy restaurant.

Let me start by saying they had an Excellent ambience & duck for thanksgiving dinner. We unfortunately were seated on time per reservation but were not served for practically 45 minutes! Kids of course were hungry & angry. Other food items were not bad but for the price we paid for this thanksgiving meal we expected more. Pictures of duck & dessert here.

We had dinner with a reservation on a Sunday night.. it's a dark and moody vibe which I liked. Didn't feel like a hotel restaurant. The food was excellent! I ordered a few sides.. the pasta for the Mac and cheese was so fun, the brussels were amazing, broccolini was good and he loved his filet. The server was a little over the top but it was fine. Overall really enjoyed our dinner

Had an amazing dinner! Service is what made it for us, JP is an asset to your restaurant. Friendly, attentive (without being overbearing), and had great knowledge and recommendations. We enjoyed the buratta, wedge and Caesar salads and filets as our entrees (hiring I know), but steaks were amazing!! Overall an amazing f experience!

I had high hopes for this upscale restaurant but it honestly was disappointing. We had a party of 8 and all 8 of us were not happy with our meals, not enough to return.Lack of flavor on the meats. Service was okay. The restaurant itself is beautiful! The best thing we had was the bread and maybe second would be the Mac & cheese. That says a lot considering a finer dinning type of menu.

Service and ambiance was good but I was wildly disappointed with how expensive this place was. 6 cocktails and 2 appetizers cost us nearly $300 and parking for 90 min was $47.

Although I was staying at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek, I decided to dine on property at Sear + Sea since I had read it was a Michelin recommended restaurant. Not sure what qualifies a restaurant as recommended, but it's not the same standard as a restaurant that receives a star or two. I had a 7pm reservation for one and it took over 90 minutes before I paid. In looking back over the evening, there was a 30-minute wait between my appetizer and steak being served. There was no recognition of the delay by my server or his assistant. There were other gaps at the start and end of the service. What surprised me was seeing guests who arrived after me leaving before me.For cocktails, I highly recommend the Flor-De-Mule. The strawberry-hibiscus cordial was the difference maker.Having had octopus at a sushi restaurant, I found it to be excessively chewy. Sear + Sea soaks their octopus in brine for three days before a light grilling. A little chewy, but great flavor. For my steak, I went with a 16-ounce Ribeye. It was prepared as I requested, but I found it to lack the tenderness I'd expect. To pay $75 for a steak, I should get the same quality as the Capital Grille or Ruth's Chris. The Potato Puree was insanely good. It was like eating a buttery potato soup. Yum.Having read other Yelp reviews, I was expecting better service. That would warrant five stars

Excellent restaurant in the JW Marriott at Bonney Creek in Orlando. We had dinner and brunch as part of a birthday celebration weekend and everything was excellent - the menu, food quality, service, ambiance. It's a no-regrets choice when you need a sure thing to have a great experience.
