This place seemed perfect for us--nostalgic Southern comfort food, woman-owned, local. The menu had me grinning like a possum eating sweet taters, especially at the Minnie Pearl and the Dirty Bird.We expected a wait and slow service--hey, great brunch spots are worth it, right? But instead of Southern hospitality, we got a masterclass in squeezing every dollar out of diners. Before you even sit down, they want your order and your tip up front (20-30%, please!)--oh, and don't forget to "buy the staff a beer" for $5. Then, it's seat yourself, shout over blaring music, and hope your server doesn't roll their eyes at you when they bring the wrong order. And the food? Lukewarm, bland, and far from the "best 7 bites you ever had." That "almost Famous" fried chicken is going to need to work on its seasoning and retaining moisture if it ever wants a shot at fame.We left feeling rushed and unwelcome, like we were overstaying at a crabby neighbor's house. Trina built something special here, but the charm and hospitality have since taken a backseat to the cash register. The recent negative reviews hit the nail on the head, and the TV appearances and awards reflect a restaurant that is now 4-8 years in the rearview mirror. Consider yourself forewarned--and forearmed.

$40.21 spent on breakfast food items that were meh at most. We went in on a weekday maybe 1045/11? And they were out of a couple of key items that were in their butcher paper menu by the register. I'd order something "sorry, we don't have that." Okay, order something else "we're out of that too" by that point I'm like okay, just pancakes for me. They're just pancakes. Nothing special. And the bottom of the pancake was burnt. Did ask the cashier what they recommend and even she didn't know what to recommend. Basically read everything off the menu. Ummm... I can read on my own just fine, thank you. It was the talk of the town. We won't be coming back here. Not worth the drive and hype for us. It was busy but I've seen places that have been busier and still got serviced. I needed a refill on my drink and tried to flag/wave someone down and then I got tired and walked to the drink station and asked for it myself.

I came here on a Sunday morning just before they opened and a line was already formed outside. The delicious smell of breakfast hit me right when I walked in the door. The employee who took my order was quite helpful. We ordered the signature chicken biscuit and the morning smash up burger. The biscuit on the chicken sandwich was so fresh and fluffy and the red pepper jelly made all the difference on this sandwich. The chicken was perfectly fried to a golden brown. The smashburger was actually one of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time. The beef was seasoned perfectly, and the hash brown casserole flavor brought it to another level. I loved it. Definitely worth the wait in line.

So, this experience was delivery. I have been to Seven Bites a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it! I remember the fried chicken being absolutely incredible, probably some of the best I have ever had. Therefore, when tasked with the duty to find a great lunch spot and I saw Seven Bites, it was a done deal! This time, I had to try a true comfort food, the Chicken Pot Pie. Ah, yes! The crust, ooohhh the crust. Flaky and buttery...sheer perfection! It came with a leafy green salad, as well. I was worried how the crust would travel and hoping it wouldn't be soggy by the time I opened it. No worries! It was wonderful! Seven Bites was as delicious as I highly recommend!

We have been to so many brunch places all over Orlando, but time and time again Se7en Bites remains our favorite!! It is located in one of our favorite areas in Orlando, the Milk District, and has amazing brunch and lunch items with a Southern flair. The service is always great and the staff is so friendly. The chef/owner is always walking around talking to the tables and she has such a fun and positive energy to her. My favorite menu item to get is The Minnie Pearl. It is two pearl sugar waffles with buttermilk fried chicken, hot honey, and an over medium egg topped with vanilla bean butter syrup and served with a side of cheddar chive grits. YUM!!! If you are looking for the best brunch in Orlando it is here!

Perfect post pickleball brunch! The menu is very carb focused but it's delicious & flavorful! The seating at the restaurant is family-style so you may have to sit with random families at a long dining hall style table but it's refreshing in this society. Service is quick & they have a DELICIOUS looking bakery as well! They also have outdoor seating

Se7en Bites is SPECTACULAR! We got the mini pearl and shared it. The syrup with the hot sauce in the chicken sandwich was such a delicious and amazing taste. I absolutely loved this dish. The service here is tremendous. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. They go above and beyond to make your experience great. The vibes of this restaurant is welcoming as well. Se7en Bites is a staple in Orlando and I recommend that everyone, either a local or tourist, give this a place a visit as soon as possible. Try to get their early because it does get packed!

We waited in line outside for about an hour and it was worth the wait. It was an interesting concept of ordering as soon as you walk in and they brought the meals to your table. The place was decorated with simplicity. The staff was friendly. We ordered the Minnie Pearl, the 7th Trimester, and the Brunchy Smash Burger - each one a unique and flavorful experience.Starting with the Minnie Pearl, it was a standout: a southern-style waffle topped with buttermilk fried chicken, a perfectly fried egg, and drizzled with a vanilla bean butter syrup and a touch of hot sauce. The balance of sweet and heat was addictive; I couldn't stop eating it.Next up was the 7th Trimester, which featured a warm garlic biscuit with egg, five cheese creamy mac & cheese, bacon bits, and potato chips. It was delicious, but we felt it could use a bit more protein - a touch more bacon would've enhanced the flavors even more.Lastly, the Brunchy Smash Burger did not disappoint. The juicy burger was flavorful, the bun soft and perfectly toasted, and the egg was cooked just right. Paired with a side of grits, which were surprisingly rich and savory with hints of chives and thyme, this dish was a winner. We wrapped up with a lavender peach mimosa, made with freshly brewed lavender peach tea and topped with cava, which added just the right touch of dryness to balance the sweetness. It was an excellent choice to round out the meal. This is definitely a spot we'll return to for brunch or breakfast!

I had to leave before I tried the food. The gentleman greeting customers as they walked in was immediately rude and let me know I can wait outside like everybody else when I was unsure how the system worked. If he had been more polite I would've given this spot a chance. However, the inside looked great and the food also looked amazing. Hopefully next time I am greeted by someone with a smile and who had manners.
