Sazon’s Restaurant Buffet And Grill

Great place to grab several plates of spanish food! Mofongo, san cocho, maduros...There was not a long line at all and I was happy to see that the waitresses eagerly refilled my drink there were a lot of choices including some Chinese food options. When I left I was staffed I had at least three plates of food definitely worth going to if you're in the area. I believe they were a few cakes and ice cream for dessert as well

It's unfortunate that this restaurant does not live up to their words and presentation on Facebook! We were very disappointed that they did not have what they advertised. They advertise that they have Steak made to order which is not true because after speaking to the cashier which very well could have been the owner said that they will never have what they advertise! They have everywhere on their windows the pictures of the desserts but they don't exist So what are you doing? Lying to the customers that see you on face book!!! There was not one piece of steak in the place and the buffet was terrible to the fact that they gave us a full refund! Stay clear of this place! I'm feeling a bit peekish from what we tasted! Not at all attractive. Floors were sticky place was dirty as well!

I came to this place after major overload of promo. It seemed interesting given the lack of Latin food buffets in the area. Also came out of curiosity after hearing the ownership of Sazon was a former owner/manager at El Palacio. Pros: Relatively clean, organized, polite, and efficient staff.Cons: Inconsistent with their food, disheveled dessert area, do not bring out fresh trays of food often enough.Bottom line: They REALLY need to work on the quality of their food. You cannot have the audacity to serve cold frituras (pastelillos, cold french fries, mozz sticks, empanadas etc.) and have nearly empty food trays during a dinner rush. It's very lazy and doesn't make you look better than your competitor. If they manage to get it together with the variety they currently offer, then I suggest bringing more variety. Ceviche would be nice (done by a Peruvian), sushi, more empanada variety, more meat or soup offerings. Overall, decent but needs much improvement.

This place was very promising, super hyped up after the disasters of both the roach infested El Palacio on Lee Rd and the very unsanitary El Palacio on OBT I had Hope's for this bright and looking place. We entered greeted with smiles arrived at around 5:45 on a saturday noticed it wasn't busy at all (from that point I should of ran like hell). We were sat server asked what we wanted to drink and was eager. Food was some very inconsistent, cold, questionable and overall not well seasoned at some points. Honestly those are things I may overlook at but for me the tip of a big screw you was the total disregard for sanitation at this place literally every Single thing except maybe the sodas.No tongs for most things, Salad bar looked like it had ice at some point for the dressings I'd say at least 2 hrs.(Salad bar was quarter filled the rest had pan covering). Rice pudding was swimming in lukewarm water literally no condensation even insinuating it had been held under the required TDZ. Ice cream cooler was the the incorrect cooler for buffets which caused ice cream and freezer burn to be everywhere and was disgusting. Ice cream scoops were sitting in a grotesque stand still water in a pan with Suppose to be HOT FOOD sitting in and pans right next to it. With no care in the world. Plates were sitting in a holder that probably wasn't cleaned that entire week. And for le grand cherry on the top the flan had mold in it (my gf proceeded to run to the bathroom to puke) then when I complained to the Server she had the audacity to defend it saying it was prepared fresh every single day total BS barely an apology or take it out of the buffet BUT HEY IF YOU WANT DIRTY COLD FOOD with a side of I DONT CARE CUPCAKES come yea don't waste your money or risk your health here PLEASE don't. Visited: 2-22-20 Disgusting I give it a few months before they get shut down!

What a slop fest. Save your money. Plates are dirty and floor is sticky. Anything worth trying was empty and most other items were dried out from being out too long. I bit into an onion ring that almost broke a tooth. I went to get some sancocho and all there was in a huge pot was a few overcooked boiled potatoes rolling around. Tried to get some ice cream but there were no scoops. When I found a large spoon I reached into the case only to find other disgarded or dropped food particles next to the containers. The health department could probably have some fun here. Steer clear.

Really good Latin food, good selection and very good price . It's a buffet and they offer carry out that works perfect for me since I have only a short lunch.

This restaurant needs cleaning.The area underneath the food line is dirty. There was flys on top of the pastries. The buffet line is dirty and some of the food is very salty. And the floor and restroom is dirty.

Very good selection of Latin food great flavor and nice atmosphere, we'll definitely come back and the waiters are really friendly

Pro: The place had lots of food to choose from, was organized, and staff was polite and attentive .Con: The floors were all sticky, my silverware was not clean, the freezer that held the ice cream had freezer burn everywhere. The empandas were okay, the cheese ones were made of cheap cheese (probably from the can).End Result: Its a buffet so peoples hair is bound to drop in food. Plus the quality of food was moderate, not the best the area can offer.

Had to update my review sadly,Even tho I love the customer service,sadly their food has gotten even worse,when to eat yesterday and was so dissapointed to even see empty dirty trays,my partner got a slice of pizza and it was burnt..I seriously don't recommend eating here anymore,even if the customer service is good the food seems to kill it as even an option.
