Just reaffirming that 6 years after my first review, Santiago's remains a go-to for me when I want a surefire great evening or afternoon. Today it was last day of Staycation 2025 . Mid afternoon, so place was not yet happy hour packed. I enjoyed pleasant conversation with the people on either side of me both of whom seemed to be of the same mind as me, enjoying g a pleasant afternoon in Orlando. Good tunes . Great bartender while eating at that big beautiful rustic bar. I asked her to make me a nice fruity rum punch and she did that to perfection. Food as always perfectly executed. Shrimp bisque, mini quesadilla, and the amazing beef tenderloin with the bleu butter topping made a great meal.

It's always a pleasure to stop in to Santiago's Bodega. Yesterday was a quiet day at the restaurant but the service and food were exceptional as usual. Our server Taylor was friendly and attentive, making sure drinks weee refilled and nothing was needed. For lunch we had the Trio (Mediterranean dips), French onion soup, croquettes and chicken skewers that came in a lovely lemon sauce that I wanted to drink.I could eat their French onion soup every day.The ambiance is Santiago's... pleasant and comfy. Easy to see how they're a favorite in town.

Love a late night Happy Hour - and Santiago's has it. My party had several different individual apps that lacked flavor for the most part. We tried their chicken lettuce wraps and they were lacking. Expected chicken cubes whereas they provided ground chicken. If you're like me and enjoy salt the edamame lacked in that department - could have used some more flavor. Same with the shisito peppers that are NOT stuffed - they sprinkled it with a little seasoning but also not enough. Good happy hour prices for the area an le the 2 happy hour time periods from 3-6pm and 11pm-1am! Their HH food items vary. None of the listed items are on their regular menu which I found interesting. I would love to see them include descriptions as the chicken lettuce wrap with ground chicken as well as shishito peppers without a filling surprised me. If I would have know I would've made another selection. Would likely return to Their happy hour for drinks only.

I had higher expectations but still had an overall a good dinner.Unfortunately, our server seemed like she didn't want to be there or had a bad day and that instantly made a downcast vibe for our evening. This was for my husband's birthday and he mentioned wishing he would've chosen a different restaurant :(The menu is small, constituted of tapas (small plates). I think it's supposed to be Spanish style tapas but it was not as elevated as other Spaniard restaurants I have visited. The ambiance is dim, rustic, and homey. Definitely nice for a night out, family friendly still but I wouldn't necessarily bring my children. There was soft jazz/piano music playing in the background.Booth & table options with inside and outside seating. Outside warmers were on since it was a cooler night. The star of the night was the beef carpaccio!!I would eat two of these on my own!The avocado and pear salad was very large in size! SHAREABLE for sure. The rest of the items we ordered were good but not great enough for a bday dinner or to convince us to return. (Patatas bravas, Brussels sprouts, Roman Meatballs, croquettas). We did not order alcoholic drinks but they do have a large selection of wines for those interested and a "wine Wednesday" special for half priced bottles!Parking is behind the building.

Santiago's is in a fantastic location in walking distance to many very cool places! I really appreciate that there's a parking lot so it makes it easy to visit. The restaurant itself has a simple and classy rustic look. Staff is friendly and food runners made sure we got our food as soon as it was ready. This tapas restaurant delivered! So, I tried the avocado and pear salad, stuffed dates, beef tenderloin, and shrimp and chorizo. Everything was perfectly cooked and scrumdiddlyumptious!! I wanted to try more on the menu, but I was too full. You know what that means...I will be back! I can't want to try more. However, those dates!!! I will ALWAYS order those. They are incredible!

Service was really good here, came in November during Jingle Eve for my friends birthday and they made sure we were all happy, and the food was delicious. I loved that they had a late night happy hour! I ordered the quesadillas and the prickly pear margarita. I tried other things (not pictured) that were delicious such as the saganaki, beef short ribs, meatballs and a seasonal thanksgiving dish they offered at the time that I wish I could remember what it was called. Still need to try out their brunch.

Santiago's has one of the best happy hours in town! For $4 you can get a delicious sangria (red, white or sparkling) and for $7 you can get some appetizers. I've been a fan of the Santiago's happy hour for years. The sangria is still so good and worth the value but I'm knocking off a star because the food has declined in taste and value and increased in price. I get the price increase, but the quality of the food choices for HH is not worth it. The yuca fries I got were cold and not crispy. The tuna was really mayo heavy and not fresh. I miss the days of the empanadas and other fresh HH tapas. I've had this same experience with the food the last three times I've visited and I think now I'm going to only come for drinks and get food elsewhere.

The brunch here is pretty great!! Santiago's is a tapas restaurant so you get many different small plates. You get a full range of breakfast inspired food including bacon, sausage, french toast, potatoes casserole, etc along with lunch dishes such as peel and eat shrimp, prime rib. Many great drinks including an expresso martini and a above average selection of bourbons. Santiago's is a great place to check out!!

I have been coming here for YEARS, and I cannot believe that I have not yet left a review! I also frequent the one in Altamonte, but on occasion, I come to the original in Orlando. So, I am very familiar with Tapas, I have been to Spain many times, and I absolutely love Tapas. Tapas consists of small dishes of food, not much more than a bite or 2, and you order a beer or a glass of wine and select Tapas, and eat it with your friends. Now, having said that, Santiago's Bodega is not exactly Spanish Tapas, the portions are larger, BUT- the whole point of here is to share with your friends. Still, the portions, while larger, are not full portions, but are meant to be shared, allowing you to order more off the menu. My favorite dish is the Beef Tenderloin, so incredibly tender and tasty! Other items I always order are the Meatballs, Shrimp & Chorizo, and the Croquettas. Word of warning- the salads are HUGE, so definitely plan on sharing those. They also have an amazing wine list, and on Wednesday night, they have half-price wine night! The decor and ambiance are excellent and the service is also fantastic, attentive without being overbearing. Be aware parking nearby may be an issue, but if you drive around, you will find a spot on the street. Highly recommended!
