Being in attendance on Christmas with my family at Salt and the Cellar was a very special experience. The food was stellar. The service was exceptional. This is indeed about an "experience" and the check at the end of the night will reflect that. Everything we had was amazing and we left wanting more...literally! The entrees are served family style but the dishes aren't really made for "sharing" with a family...a date, yes. If I had any knock...it would be that I wish there was a little more for the money! If you're looking for a beautiful culinary experience with one of the best in the biz, head on over to The Ette hotel and try the tuna pizza (to die for!!!), the lobster, scallops, and the tomahawk...your choice of gold flakes or naked. Don't forget the curd dessert and the chocolate mug are must tried!!!

4.5 !We have been wanting to try salt and the cellar for quite some time and finally did! Overall it was a wonderful experience. They officially did get their liquor license which prior they allowed you to bring your own wine and they would uncork it. We came prepared and brought a bottle but now the uncorking fee is $40 so we decided to try some cocktails instead. They did say they use all unique liquor brands, but even so I found the prices a bit steep.I was also a bit surprised that for an upscale restaurant valet was not complimentary and was $15. We ended up self parking for this reason. However the entry to the hotel is beautiful with very nice decor that leads into the restaurant. It smelt amazing and was a nice entry to dinner. The tuna pizza is a must get! It was so thinly sliced and delicious and is on the menu at every location for a reason! The pop rockin combo of the spicy crab but watermelon pop rocks was delicious! Even with those being delicous, our hands down favorite was the duck! Do not skip this dish! The food was great! Just some missing extra touches for the prices being charged IMO.

My Big Spoon chose Salt & The Cellar By Akira Back as our dinner date for day two of our quick getaway to Florida. It is curated by a Michelin Star Chef, so expectations of the food were already high before coming in. I was able to dress up, which I LOVE to do! I'm a Latina Barbie Girl in a Latina Barbie World so you know dressing up is Fun! Love that the restaurant encourages you to dress UP! The restaurant is located in the Ette Hotel and when we arrived the valet person was MIA. We had a fancy car so our loaner stayed right up front, not sure if she stayed in front because of the wait upon arrival or because she was a brand new 2024 760i. Whatever the case, it was convenient to have her left up front. The restaurant wasn't packed, there were lots of tables open on a weekend, odd. Ambiance is giving sexy, sultry, dim and chic. Our table wasn't comfortable but eclectic furniture never is. I like to be all up on my babe and sit side by side and snuggle but we couldn't do that here with the seating. Let's get into it!Drinks: They only serve their own alcohol, for me, I didn't like that. Don't force me to drink your liquor. I tried a cocktail, it was good but not my favorite. One and Done for the drinks. Lobster was great! NY Strip - Delicious! Kimchi Brussels - Hard Pass they were so spicy you couldn't enjoy. Although very high end, for me, I didn't really like it. My better half did, so I'll be back but not by choice. Prices are way UP there and honestly not sure it's worth it.Service was okay, remember I'm a snob when it comes to etiquette at a high end restaurant, anyone who has experienced true 5 star dining knows someone from management is coming over to say hello, welcome you, etc. That didn't happen here. I know they have high reviews but for me it's just okay.

This was fine Asian Fusion expertly done. Located inside the chic ETTE Hotel Orlando, if you love great food with a sexy atmosphere to match, then this is the place for you.The servers bent over backwards to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was freaking delicious. I had the NY Strip and she had the lobster. Both had us licking our lips. The brussel sprouts were good but super spicy so if you don't like spicy, say no to these. The alcohol is home grown so there were no popular names, however, they could match anything that you wanted.. The signature drinks came out perfect! When we come back to Orlando, this will be on our must do list and yes, valet is complementary which is always a welcomed touch!!

Excellent service, great food and cocktails and the ambiance was nice. I came for my girlfriends birthday and felt we had 5 start treatment for our server, he was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. I would definitely come back.

A hidden gem! Definitely one of a kind! A must try if you are in the Kissimmee/Orlando area! I was looking for an elevate tea experience close to Disney and came across Afternoon Tea at Salt & the Cellar by Akira Back at the Ette Hotel. Wow, I'm so glad that I found this experience, it is a must! Absolutely loved the experience! Every Sunday you can enjoy high tea from 12-5pm. It's definitely a luxury experience like no other! There's even a mixologist to prepare unique mocktails. During my experience I tried the following: Sandwiches-Smoked salmon and caviar sandwiches-Egg salad sandwiches -Cucumber sandwiches-Chicken salad sandwichesScones & Madeleines:Clotted Cream, Fig Spread & Apple JamDesserts: -Pollack Cube-Lemon Meringue Tart-Pistachio Eclair-Saint HonoréMocktail: MoonchildEven though the Moonchild is not apart of a tea experience, you can still order it and add it to your experience, it is a must!! I truly had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and kind. I chose the tea experience for my birthday celebration so our waitress was kind enough to add a candle to the dessert portion and sing happy birthday to me it was so sweet. From the hotel to the restaurant everything was sleek, elegant, sophisticated, classy, and absolutely wonderful!

The environment is amazing, beautiful.Staff were friendly and our server Sky, was very professional and great!Food for the price and proposal was just ok. When I think in waygu, I imagined something medium rare, to taste the flavor and fatness of the meat, but the taco was just a ground beef in a fried dough. The NY steak was beautiful, with the pairing salta on the side, gorgeous!Scallops was good, the combination was very nice. The shimeji was missing on the plate, I talked with Sky, and she gave me the shimeji to go, it was delicious, probably on the plate it would be delicious!Chocolate on cup, delicious, very cool idea and tastes combined in the mouth.Room service, rum cocktail, very good also.

I've been wanting to dine here ever since I tried some samples at a Yelp Elite event back in March. We sampled the tuna pizza and it was incredible. I came in tonight and sat at the bar. We ordered an old fashioned and smoked espresso martini. I loved the presentation but I have to say the service was very apathetic. The bartender was very robotic and not friendly or personable. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and my date ordered the duck. Our entrees did take a long time but I don't mind waiting for a fresh meal. The sea bass was great but I feel like it was missing a little something. Overall I just have to say this place fell a little flat from my expectations. And the restaurant was VERY empty. Maybes it's busier on the weekend but it kind of killed the vibe.

Bougielicious. The last time I ate this bougie was in Paris, France at a restaurant called Tour D'Argent.Came with a friend who was visiting from out of town. I thought we were going to stick to the Magical Dining menu but instead we delved right into the actual menu. A real treat! The ambience was nice, chic if you will. The location of the restaurant was just off the lobby of the Ette Hotel. For a restaurant of this caliber I thought that it would be a little more private and secluded. I was a bit confused about the location and walked down the hallway past the actual restaurant area which looked more like an extension of the bar/lounge area just off of the hotel lobby.Another reviewer bitched about the caliber of the people there. Most people were dressed smartly but there were a couple of tourists from off the street just vacationing in the area. I think it would be wise to say that one should never judge another book by its cover. Some of the wealthiest people I know are extremely low key salt of the earth people. That being said... if you want to be seen this is less of the vibe than Ava Mediterranean but it certainly has the same caliber of food. The prices are much higher than Ava so it's no surprise that there are those who are angered by the 'riff raff'.I did not see any children. Mostly couples so yes, a great place for a date or to celebrate a special event with friends. The dining area is very small so I can't imagine that it would be a place for larger parties although, they may be able to accommodate parties of more than 8 people. In short, call. We got several dishes- AB Wagyu tacos- Tomahawk Steak- Duck- Tuna CarpaccioWe tried 3 out of 4 desserts- Yuzu Curd- Cigar Chocolate- Vanilla Ice Cream with ChocolateMy favorite dish was the duck. Hands down. The rest were impressive. Exquisite plating and presentation. I little bit silly at times with the flashing colored lights. I would have preferred something that looked more elevated but that may be my personal preference. The desserts I would skip. Not my cup of tea. My friend repeatedly asked for coffee but they kept on forgetting to get him one. Not sure why... but overall the service was good. The server was very nice and friendly. The food arrived promptly.I admit I had a bit higher expectations having dined in some fine establishments. The ambience didn't real make the cut. The food was delicious but something was just off in the experience. I can't say. Overall, I would say definitely try it. Save this one for a special occasion. The menu on the website is not the same as the one that is there. You'll come out with dollar signs for eyes but is it worth it? Yes, decidedly yes.

Service was absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful restaurant for a special occasion. Went for my boyfriends birthday and so glad that we came here. Our server Elizabeth took the time to explain each dish and each cocktail. Some of our favorites were the oysters and the Tuna Pizza. The Tuna pizza has this thin crispy crust with the freshest tuna on top and white truffle oil added. It's delicious. Drinks are a bit pricey but they are phenomenal. The tacos were also a favorite. A little spicy but just the perfect touch of spice. The filet mignon was also very good. I honestly cannot wait to be back and try the rest of the menu.
