Sal's Market Deli

Visited Universal on the weekend and decided to try Sal Market at Potorfino Bay hotel. It is convenient to grab quick snacks.They have snacks, salad, pizza, tiramisu, etc. The salad was good, got pesto farm pizza (diced chicken, red onion, pesto sauce), did not have much flavor. The restaurant is cute and cozy Italian vibe.

Call me biased, maybe a bit of a fanatic but I've been to this resort four times now & Sal's is a treasure. If you're staying at the Loews Portofino Bay Resort consider yourself lucky because they put all the other escorts to pure shame. Sal's food is #1 AMAZING, #2 Economical BUT #3 and most importantly PHENOMENAL. Arugula Prosciutto pizza is a hard yes and that Meat & Cheese Sal'Zone is a no brainer. Another great perk is they have non-alcoholic, and alcoholic beverages available in coolers. It makes for a nice "while waiting" beverage. Just saying for all those chill vibes drinkers out there.

Decent deli style , casual place to grab a pizza or sandwich . Service was kind of slow even though there was 5 people behind the counter they seemed preoccupied. I got the chicken parm hero which was pretty damn good for a mediocre place. Kids got pizza which was a disappointment.

Great pizza! Such a cute little area and good sandwiches too (sis had tuna). The cheese pizza was fresh and flavorful. They were constantly cleaning and very friendly too!

We ate at Sal's twice during our stay at Portofino Bay. Both times I ordered the portabella mushroom sandwich with a side salad. That balsamic dressing is EVERYTHING! So freaking good. Could eat it every day of my life. The sandwich was also tasty (obviously since I ordered it twice). My husband ordered the calzone and my daughter had the pizza. She liked the pizza- it was thin crust. I thought it was just okay. They have a drink machine that we used a lot to fill up our water bottles. If you are in a rush, I wouldn't suggest eating here because both times it took awhile to get our food. It was worth the wait though and we would definitely go back.

My sister and I were looking to eat something relatively light since she had already eaten earlier. Thinking the 12" Margherita pizza and Italian sub was going to be small, we were sorely mistaken. Each half of the sub was a single serving in itself! There was also a huge portion of freshly made chips on top of that. Taste wise, I thought both the sandwich and pizza was pretty good given the portions. I liked the fresh lettuce, banana peppers, and tangy vinaigrette dressing toppings. The pizza dough was chewy and soft. Overall, we enjoyed Sal's relaxing and comfortable environment. Staff were kind and on top of keeping the tables clean. Would come again the next time I'm in the area!

Overall it was a good quick meal. I ordered the sals classic on wheat . It was good. They put all the veggies on the side due to the size of the bread which was actually preferable. The sandwich tasted good and the dressing was delicious. The chips it came with were definitely stale

Enjoyed these pizzas for a hotel pizza joint. Super accommodating, the manager was very kind and showed great customer service. Nice clean atmosphere. Italian sausage on the pizza was really delicious and a nice bite. We both truly enjoyed our pizzas.

We are only half-way through our stay at the Portofino Bay Hotel (Universal Studios Orlando), but I did not want to delay my review of this wonderful dining spot.The casual nature of the place suits our needs perfectly. The food has exceeded expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices...no gouging here!Everything we have ordered (salads, pizza, breakfast wraps, sandwiches) has been absolutely delicious and the portions large. The service is extremely warm and gracious. Feels like a family-run business (although it's not...I inquired). We'll be dining here a few more times before our departure, I am sure. Grazie, Sal's!!

Amazing Pizza, seriously some of the best I have had in a long time. Nothing like a delicious pizza after a long day in the park!
