Great diner atmosphere, staff friendly & very responsive to customer needs. Ordered eggs, turkey bacon, & grits, wife had scrambled grits & toast. Generous portions, prepared to perfection. If u enjoy home cooked style breakfast, do yourself a favor stop in & say hi.

We stopped here after a morning at Blue Spring State Park to see the manatees! We were searching for a no-frills diner environment to get a late breakfast/lunch, and Rhonda's delivered.Adorned with typical diner decor and leftover Christmas flair, the staff were friendly and casual and the menu was large and reasonably priced. My breakfast was just what I was looking for - a simple egg breakfast with all my favorite sides. The biscuits were great; the bacon was a bit crispy for my taste, but still great value overall. My boyfriend enjoyed the Rueben sandwich and the chili, and loved both! The chili in particular was a big hit. I love a spot you can have breakfast in the afternoon, and I'd recommend this for people passing through the area as I was.

Dorian and the girls serving are the best part of this establishment. I orders a gyro with out tomatoes no big deal the server sent it back. Waited 10 minutes and the kitchen sent the same gyro out and just picked the tomatoes off. Probably should make sure you don't leave evidence that you picked them off by leaving slimy seeds. The gyro meat is so dry and really can't even put enough tzatziki sauce on it so luckily my server knows me and brought a side. This place has really gone down hill since it changed to Sally's. Not to mention the charge for paying with a card that alters the price even more. Just very disappointed. At Rhonda's this kinda treatment would not be acceptable. Fair warning if you have food allergies you may want to skip this place. I'm officially done eating here with my family.

Heard mixed reviews on the change over from the old to the new so I thought I would give it a try. Awfully quiet for a Saturday morning but it meant I got to sit where I chose. That first cup of coffee (in a tiny little coffee cup) was prompt, the first refill was prompt and then my empty cup sat there on the table, the waitstaff walked by multiple times and finally when my bill arrived I asked for a refill that took another 3 minutes. (Yes by this point I was counting as the cup had been empty for that long). I ordered a veggie omelet (hold the peppers), home fries and wheat toast. Omelet was fluffy and cheesy the veggies though were scarce. And if you like a little hot sauce with your eggs sadly they offer Texas Pete. The home fries were made with onions and had flavor! Seasoning! They were tasty! The toast was a little cold and whoa the butter, it dribbled off. The old vibe wasn't there, the staff some old some new didn't shine they way they used to. I missed the staff walking around with the coffee pot pouring refills and checking in whether it was their table or not. I miss the experience of local and welcoming. It wasn't busy, they were counting the cars driving by, giving more attention to the customers they had would have helped create repeat business.

A group of us went to Rhonda's Kitchen for breakfast prior our weekend motorcycle ride.I ordered a fairly basic breakfast consisting of two over easy eggs, bacon and toast. The yolk was broke on one of my eggs but everything else was great. Two of my friends ordered biscuits and gravy with look good, but both told me the biscuits were hard.Anyway the service and price was good and the food overall wasn't bad. We did get our meals fairly quick even though the place was fairly crowded. Will return in the future.

First and last visit. Husband ordered eggs over easy... served hard. He ordered sausage links..big thick links that were mushy inside. Was told they were deep fried. My sausage patties were big flat patties that tasted awful. Beverages were served with little to no ice.Waitress was friendly enough, but took off before we could say anything. When the bill was presented we tried explaining our issues. She took 20% off bill. One explanation was we have a different cook.Went in hungry, left hungry...

Food has definitely gone downhill, as well as the old homey feel local spot for home cooking.Big personnel turnover, old ones seem stressed, new ones average. Don't have that homey friendly connection.Final Straw: Ordered corn beef and eggs scrambled, grits, toast.Toast WarmGrits Hot No butter offered or servedEggs Scrambled till the serving was smaller than a dollar bill.Corn Beef? It was a slab of a preformed loaf of pressed corn beef about 1/4" thick, dry and the inside cold. Served in a semicircle form as a half a slice of a large bologna type loaf.Told the waitress "The meal sucked". She just shrugged her shoulders and did not offer a refund. This is from a daily regular for the past 2 years or so. I know this restaurant and the people. I've been associated with restaurant personnel and their practices for over 40 years; one of my friends taught at Johnson & Wales, a premier culinary school. Rhonda's deserves better. They do make a decent Gyro, but moist lamb would be better. Gyro meat, beef I think, needed the tzatziki sauce.
