I've tried a lot of NY style pizza in Central Florida, and Sal's is hands down the best I've had in a long long time. It's been so hard to find a decent slice of NY pizza for us in Central Florida until I recently started to see this spot popping up on IG.So glad to finally have a new spot to grab a slice or whole pie.I only had the plain cheese, vodka sauce, and buffalo chicken slices but all three were fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try more!

My friend recommended we try this restaurant and I was not disappointed! I'm originally from NY, so you know we take our slices very seriously. I have to say that both the pizza and garlic knots were very tasty. The dough was very light and airy and the pizza had the perf crust.Unfortunately, we had limited options for the slices since we came pretty late in the evening, but that just means we'll have to come back to try the others! Service was great, friendly staff, and cozy/rustic ambiance.

Sal's Pizza earns a solid 4 stars. I've heard great things from so many people, and it really is the closest you'll get to authentic NYC pizza in this area. The Margherita, spicy vodka, and Caprese pizzas all had great flavor, but I found them to be a bit too oily. Additionally, it seemed like some of the pizzas had been sitting out too long, which detracted from the overall experience. On the bright side, the garlic knots were incredible--fresh out of the oven! Service was fast, which is always a plus when you're craving pizza.Overall, Sal's is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're on the hunt for NYC-style pizza and amazing garlic knots.

Excellent pizza and worth the drive. We have gotten their eggplant pizza many times and it is always good and has consistent quality. Since I live twenty minutes away I do have to reheat it but it tastes good reheated. It is very similar to NY pizza. The parking is easy in their free parking lot.

Last night we came to have dinner to "Sal's", we enjoyed it very much. Some friends recommended us this place, so we decided to give it a try. For our luck, they had all the pizza slices available, and we needed up trying the Vodka and Cheese slice as well as the pepperoni and some garlic knots! They were excellent!! Since we sat at the bar, we even spoke for a while with Gaspar (the main Italian chef) he was so nice and so knowledgeable. We loved the experience, the environment and vibe of the whole place. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is a pizza lover (I HIGHLY recommend the garlic knots too!)

I had high expectations for Sal's due to the good reviews, but unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience. First. They made our pizza wrong and acted like we were dumb for expecting them to remake it. Their solution for us was to put cold pepperoni on top and reheat it but burn the rest, or let the cold pepperoni heat up on the warm pizza in the box, or have them heat up some premade pizzas. I was shocked that they didn't offer any sort of extra food, a remake, or dessert or something. On top of that, the pizza was not good either. The chicken tastes like cheap Chinese fried chicken, and it's so odd. I've never had anything like that on a pizza before. The sauces aren't good, the dough wasn't good, the Caesar dressing isn't good, the marinara isn't good. Nothing was good. It's hard to mess up pizza, but they've messed it up here.I wouldn't recommend this place at all unfortunately.

What can I say about Sal's Pizza Bar... well after 3 years of living in Orlando I finally found my pizza spot! Sal's in my opinion is one of the best NY style pizza I've had in a LONG time. The dough is perfect and the sauce and cheese are delicious. Also ordered some Garlic Knots and mozzarella sticks, I could've ordered another serving that's how good it was. It's dangerous how close it is to where I live but I'm not even upset about it. I even got the chance to chat a little with Sal himself and he was so nice and friendly. Told him we'd be coming back very soon. Overall if you just want a slice or a whole pie there's a spot for anyone. What's cool about this location is that there is a literal bar where you can enjoy some draft beers and a slice of pizza. They do have tables available inside and outside. 5/5 pizza spot! See ya real soon..

Best pizza by far in Orlando. I love how you can purchase just one piece if you're in a rush or the whole pie for the whole family.

At 4.3 stars place is clearly underrated. I had the NY style yesterday and it's was outstanding. So good that I came back today for the brick oven style. Also 10/10. Crust sauce and cheese are all excellent. Pepperoni and the sausage were delicious. I eat pizza in NY and NJ a dozen times every year and this place is as good as any of them. I've been looking for a place like this in this part of Orlando and I'm super happy to have found it. Also the brand or cane sugar soda they sell in the bottle is really good. I went with the Rootbeer. I'm sure I'll try them all as I'll be here once a week
