Saba Bakes

Needed a sweet treat after a long week and it was still open so I made a quick stop at Saba Bakes. Picked up one for today and one for tomorrow. They sell per pound at $14.99. Got both the cakes for a total of $5 and got to enjoy the coffee cake which is not overly sweet but that is what I needed and wanted. With a large glass of milk and my little sweet snack, it was simply the best step into the weekend.

Amazing. Amazing. I'm half Iranian and these treats are heaven for me. It's a little tough to find but just call and they can help you if you need it. It's within the "warehouse" complex. This is a perfect place to try new things.. if you've never had Iranian desserts and they can also make cakes for events! If you're Iranian and/or already been opened to the world of Iranian sweets, here's where you can get all the things you love. Baklava, nokhodchi, bamiyeh, zoolbia, etc.. and even fresh baked Persian breads like barbari and lavash. Highly recommend. I love the Napoleoni and Rollet, and the Latifeh is delicious too. You can never go wrong with the Noon'e Chamei (cream puffs). Those are an awesome party snack/dessert.

My partner is Iranian and she is family friends with the owner, so she brought me there on Christmas Day (and they were open till 3). Location wise, it's not the easiest to find. The quality of product more than makes up for the size & location of the operation. I couldn't tell you the NAMES of the items (they are Farsi names), but everything we got there was so delicious without being overly sweet or heavy. I would definitely go back now that I know where it's at. They also have amazing bread they bake there. It's flat but soft and delicious.

Great Persian bakery items that Americans enjoy too. Barbary is freshly baked on Saturday mornings, and it's great! Pastries and cookies are also available. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This spot is a little hidden gem... lots of different baked goods. The only thing i dont like is the operating hours because they close at the same time i get off work and i can only go on Saturday. Also i felt kind of out of place there, almost like i didnt belong there and was looked at kinda strange (i think it was because of all the holes in my jeans and i had my fat thigh out... didnt think about where i was going when getting dressed, different cultures lol). BUT the young lady was VERY NICE AND HELPFUL... i will be returning for my Walnut Cookies!!! They are the Best!

Saba Bakery is one of the best persian bakery in town. The verity and selection is amazing . I highly recommend this place. The service is superb .

19 minutes agoThis bakery is a hidden treasure! It is small but the selection is great and everything tastes wonderful. The warm Barbari bread is out of this world. They use real whip cream for pastry filling-- none of that yucky unhealthy sugar and shortening here!! Try their cream puffs, Napoleons, Rolette (jelly roll with whip cream filling instead of jelly) or Zulbia & Bamieh ( fried delicate dough drenched in syrup-- a Persian version of funnel cake and churros )They have freshly brewed hot tea for you to enjoy. This place won't disappoint!Next time I'm trying the jam cookies and other cookies. The young lady behind the counter is most friendly and delightful. Thank you Saba Bakery!

This newly found bakery is amazing. My hubs received, as a birthday gift, an assortment of pastries. Not only were they beautiful but, they tasted like fresh morsels of perfection. In all honesty, I'm not usually impressed with bakery goods because they generally look better than they taste and are cloyingly sweet. This is not the case with these pastries. They were delivered lightly chilled, fresh and moist and lovely. We had so many to choose from! I, of course, went for the chocolate and it tasted like CHOCOLATE. Hubs dived into the cream puffs and Swiss roll, declaring them delicious. We shared a few with our Mid-Eastern friends and poof! Gone! We will definitely shop at Saba when we have dessert needs. VERY impressed. Thank you, Saba, for baking quality products. Obviously, we highly recommend.

This place is highly overrated and overly expensive. The owner and his son and daughter are very rude and disrespectful to customers. I will not ever go back to this place!
