Ruthy's Kozy Kitchen

Greek omelet w crispy hashbrowns. . Sautéed nicely. Crisp and tender.Feta and spinach and tomatoes. Forgot what the other one was . It's topped with gravy.Sliced potatoes light fried.Coffee was my least favorable again. It's only pink or white.I wish they had blue or yellow also.

We've been patronizing Ruthy's over the years and have always had very excellent & friendly service and tasty food but that wasn't the case on 02/11/25. I ordered the cheeseburger wrap with the "special sauce". After eating a portion of one half of it I discovered that I wasn't tasting any "special sauce". I unwrapped it and examined the insides and didn't see any evidence of sauce. I asked the waitress if she could get me a small container of sauce. She went to the kitchen and was told that I would have to be charged for it. I said I shouldn't be charged if it's not on there. The kitchen manager Erica then came charging out to our table and told me that "Just because I couldn't see it or taste it didn't mean it wasn't on there"!. My husband and 3 waitress witnessed that the sandwich didn't have the sauce. She then took the sandwich out to the kitchen and smothered it in sauce and slapped it back on the table. When I pulled the wrap back and saw the amount she had put on I became quite upset and said I'm not eating it or paying for it. She then stormed back to our table and said quite sternly "What's wrong with it now?"! I said is that the way you speak to valued customers? I told her what was wrong and she grabbed the plate and stormed off into the kitchen never apologizing. Not really sure why the kitchen manager felt she had to come out and get involved and show me who was the "Boss." I don't think that a couple of tablespoons of sauce is going to break the bank especially when it wasn't on there in the first place.It's a first I have never been treated so horrifically by "the kitchen staff". The waitresses were all very kind and I think they were quite shocked and taken aback by Erica's nasty mean actions.I tried to call and speak with the owners but they only have voice mail. I left a message to call me and as of yet haven't received any response.

I spent many years being a waitress. Today me and my husband came in to get breakfast and instead we watched a young girl with short brown hair bring silverware up to the front and get yelled at for helping. The lady who yelled at her we had never seen before but it brought tears to the young girls eyes. It broke my heart. We will not be coming back after witnessing her being treated like this even though every weekend when we come in she always greets us at the door. I did not leave with a full belly or a "kozy" heart.

One of Mom's favorite restaurants! It was good; reasonable. Super friendly staff; quick service. The Benedict was quite good; thin ham and the home fries were crispy. The avocado toast & egg sandwich was a bit underwhelming. Sausage gravy & biscuit was also tasty - and the basic big breakfast was just as it should be.

I love diners! I was happy to see this one close by as we were traveling. The inside is so cute, and all the servers were so pleasant. Everything feels clean and bright. There is a board full of specials on the wall in addition to a full breakfast and lunch menu.I settled on a chicken salad sandwich on rye toast and it came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. Food arrived promptly and looked great. Sadly, the chicken salad was super bland and didn't even taste like chicken. All I could taste was celery and toast. The French fries were hot and good. I was bummed, as my husband got something that he truly enjoyed. I picked the wrong thing.

Atmosphere - Excellent. The restaurant is bright and cheerful. The decor is makes you feel at home. There are lots of four tops and booths. Service - Great. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon entry. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.Food - Great. I had the Patty Melt, which came with French Fries. The burger was cooked to the exact temperature ordered. The sandwich was ample in size and it tasted great. The fries were very good as well. FYI, a large breakfast menu is also available for order anytime. Overall Value - Great. This is a restaurant every should try. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food and service is excellent.

Well it's been eight years since I've walked through these doors and wow how things have changed, thanks to a business associate I had breakfast here today, yes I was a little reluctant to attend a breakfast meeting here when I got the invite - but he convinced me and I'm so glad I took him up on it.This place has undergone a beautiful makeover, it's well lit and the place looks amazing with all the new furnishings since my last visit I am totally impressed. He was seated when I arrived so I walked in without talking to a hostess and within a minute our server Amanda arrived with a giant smile and a wonderful good morning greeting. As she took my request for a cup of coffee we had both decided on our breakfast choices so off to the kitchen she went.I have to take a moment to compliment the owner Ruthy, she has really taken this place to a new level, this is a nice clean restaurant that I am sure I will return to many times in the future - the service was exceptional and the food was delicious and presented well. I definitely will add this back to my list of local restaurants and at the top of the list for breakfast service - I hated writing a poor review but my previous review was truly my experience as is this one today and it makes me extremely happy to see the transformation and there's no doubt in my mind that this place will continue being successful since the bar has been raised...

Food and service was great. Recommend the country fried steak and eggs I also enjoyed the biscuits

Driving by from out of town and saw this cute place. Walked in on a Sunday and got the last free table at the height of the breakfast rush. Our waitress was at our table within 30 seconds taking our drink order and back within a couple minutes with coffee. We placed the order and the food came so fast I thought they had someone else's order! We adjusted a couple menu items but zero issues... food was hot and fresh and delicious! This is on my top 10 old school diners for food quality (for what it is ) and service. We live 90 minutes away but will plan another exploration trip and stop here for breakfast again!!

Great atmosphere and food! Our waitress is newer and so sweet, Jessica. If you go there ask Jessica to describe the soup.
