Rufus Ribs

Yesterday I called to place my order for a slab of ribs. She told me it would be ready at 2:30pm. Got there a little early so I ordered me a rib sandwich with sauce on it and it came with a drink the cost was $9.00. I set me in car and waited until 2:30 pm I paid for my Slab of ribs ($33.00) with sauce on the side and a large potatoe salad ($8.00). My husband also wanted a cup of peach cobbler which is so good. The ribs was so tender omg! I was so satisfied. The owner and his wife are so nice their customer service is amazing. We go there so much tell she remembers us. They are located next to a fruit stand and we always purchase items there. Not sure what the name of it. The location is easy to locate also across from racetrac gas station. They only take cash! I did not take a picture of the slab of ribs because my family tore it up. It is a must to pay them a visit.

Delicious rib sandwich but you better get there early!!!!! This is a food trailer on a heavily traveled road. We stopped for lunch around 2:00 on a Friday afternoon and they were out of pulled pork and bbq chicken. So I had to settle for the rib sandwich. Which was delicious by the way. The sides were Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, baked beans etc. I had the Mac and cheese and it was delicious! Cheesy creamy goodness and the pasta was not over cooked. The small size was a 12 ounce styrofoam cup so plenty for 2 people. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they were out of 2 of their main meats. This is definitely tops for bbq.

HIGHLY recommend this road side bbq spot in Lake Wales on the 60. If you see it you must stop. Best ribs and chicken I've had in so many years! Greens are so good! So is potato salad and Mac and cheese! Cornbread is so good too! We were looking for a good bbq spot and we deff found it we deff will be back! Don't hesitate just get some bbq from them! Hands down delish!

Friendly people serving tasty food on the way through Lake Wales, FL. They offer your sauce on the food or on the side, which I prefer. Mac and cheese was good but needs cheesy topping. The full rack was meaty and made a great meal.

This food is so amazing! This Florida girl is so happy! The ribs fall off the bone and every bite is delicious! The baked beans, collard greens, and cornbread were fantastic! When you take a guy that can cook ribs and a gal that can cook the fixins, that's a match made in heaven. Very evident in the food. The portions for the price also great! So glad we stopped here, we will be back! I think I would drive here just for the food and I'm more than an hour away!

The best ribs for the money! This is a must stop. Their advertising is simply the oh-so-delicious smelling smoke wafting from their smoker. Great customer service! Do it!

Rufus sure can cook! Love those ribs. Be sure to bring cash because I'm pretty sure that's all they accept. I usually smoke my own, but when I don't want to go to the trouble, I know Rufus is holdin' it down! Get that sauce on the side cause those ribs are melt in your mouth delicious.

Cleanliness flys were in their environment and landing on the food. The taste was good but I was apprehensive about eating the food.

Absolutely the best ribs I have ever eaten! Full rack can easily feed 3-4 with sides. Great smoke, but not overpowering. I even liked the BBQ suace, which I normally avoid, but this was not too sweet with a nice spicy kick. Mac and cheese was gooey and cheasy but the macaroni wasn't over cooked. Great roadside stop.

Great food and service. Large portions and modest prices. Fast friendly service and don't forget the deserts
