Ruby Street Grille

If you're visiting Tavares and looking for a late night spot, with food and live music, then this is the place. You're not going to get amazing food or an upscale/ memorable dining experience; however, it was a good location for a quick bite of bar and entertainment. We ordered the zingers/ boneless wings, a Turkey sandwich, and fries. All of the food was okay; not terrible. They are allowed to smoke on the patio area, so keep that in mind if that's a turn off for you. Otherwise, I enjoyed the band the most.

First time visiting - but was (very) happy to find a friendly attentive wait staff.Small menu but as long as they do it right... *(and for these two orders they did)The beverage was overpriced - but that just "suggests" we stop drinking when we go for eats.Nice outside seating.There were going to be having a band - which I assume may be getting loud (if you like that sort)

This is a cute bar in downtown Tavares. Inside seating and a bar section as well as a large covered patio with an outdoor bar. Live music and a view of the lake. Our server Mindy was great. Had a delicious pear cider (ugh 200 calories though). My burger was cooked well and loaded with mushrooms. The fries are above average too. Limited menu but good options.

We came in for an early dinner today, the 4th of July, and the waitress brought us a special holiday menu. I explained to her that my husband was on a keto diet, meaning almost no carbs, and I saw no sides that worked with his diet. I asked if he could just get a small house salad for an upcharge, as we had no problem paying extra for the accommodation. The waitress was perfectly fine with it, but she said she had to ask the kitchen. Since restaurants are normally happy to work with him, I didn't figure there'd be an issue, but I was wrong. Our waitress was told that was the menu, no deviations allowed. We were surprised they were willing to lose business over it, especially when they had big salads on the menu, which meant they had the ingredients to do it. We ended up walking over to Puddle Jumpers, where they were more than happy to work with my husband.

Great music, good food, good service, fun bar, too much smoking for us on the screened in porch. Need fans going full blast. Had to leave earlier than we wanted.

Food was great service was great and it was a nice atmosphere. My husband got the burger and fries and I got the fish tacos. We both enjoyed our dinners and it wasn't too pricey either which is always a plus!

Excellent food! Steak and blue cheese appetizer in a red wine demi glaze cooked perfectly. Great service. Live music a big plus. Very reasonable prices

Horrible service. Rude waitress. When my pregnant wife asked to place an order for an appetizer, the waitress said "NO" and walked off.

It took 20 minutes to get acknowledgment from any staff. We were literally the only people inside the restaurant. The waitress was super rude slamming our drinks on the table and rushing us to order. Paid for our drinks and left.
