The picture doesn't due justice but these were some of the best wings I've had in sometime (in the area). I ordered through door dash, they came fresh and fried crispy, just how I like. The teriyaki flavor was really good and the fries were nicely seasoned. I'll definitely be ordering again.

While I feel it is important to support black business in Sanford, Hygiene must be taken seriously. One, I found hair in my grits and two, my salmon patties were hard as a rock.

I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and it really reminded me back home ! The workers were really nice and they made sure your food is cooked fresh to order. I got the chicken wing plate and the Serena Williams lemonade and they both were good! The chicken was fried just how I like it and the lemonade is so sweet which I love as well!! I will definitely be back to try their other stuff one day

We had a few hours to kill before a flight out of Sanford Int'l Airport, and we were looking for a decent, low key place to eat. My sister found Roni's on Google, and the solid 4.7 rating gave us enough confidence to make the trip. Turns out 4.7 is not *nearly* enough. That day we were a group of 4 native New Yorkers, now scattered in the Bronx, Las Vegas, and Asheville NC, and we are all serious eaters who get around. We each ordered different dishes and sides, and not a single one was disappointing. Some paraphrased quotes: "This is the best fried chicken I've EVER had. So juicy, and the batter is light and not greasy." -- From my sister, who's a real foodie and knows her stuff. "This is the best shrimp and grits I've ever had." -- From someone who's had a LOT of shrimp & grits and loves them. "The waffles are so light and fluffy! Everything is perfect." -- My picky aunt As for me, I ate a double order of powdered french toast with maple syrup, then snatched one of my aunt's waffles. Hot coffee kept coming. We definitely could have eaten more, if we had enough time. Finally, a note on the service. Miss Betty was our kind and lovely waitress, and she is an absolute treasure. She certainly made these 4 white folks feel like part of the family. Everyone we met in the building was warm and friendly. If we're ever in Sanford again, we'll be back. I was a bit skeptical at first considering the environment but it's so pleasant inside. The young girl who took my order was so sweet and professional. The extensive menu has food options for just about most. Including, chicken breakfast meat aside from the usual pork. I can't wait to try the Chicken and Waffles!Support Black Businesses

After traveling a short distance from Orlando for an event in Sanford, we were searching for a newly recommended breakfast spot. We were grateful to experience the small and quaint southern flavors of Roni's! Our waitress named Nigeria was a young girl who was very attentive to our needs! Before I could finish my cup of coffee, she immediately served me another fresh cup. They even had an assortment of tasty creamers. I enjoyed my order of fried fish and grits. The fish was just like I was hoping with crispy edges! There was a variation of orders placed at our table such as the Bokey breakfast, chicken sausage and waffles, salmon patties, and a pancake breakfast that was just the right amount for my great niece who is a toddler! We're so glad that we found this little gem! The food was delicious! I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Food was absolutely delicious! & Lebron James drink is soooo delicious. I will definitely come back more often. 10/10

If you want authentic southern cuisine, check out Roni's. Located in the Historic Goldsboro area of Sanford, the food is tasty and affordable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was quick & the food orders were accurate. We will make Roni's one of our usual places to eat out.

Customer service is always #1 everyone knows this in any food chain. The energy i get from the heavier set woman in the kitchen is not good, the way shes talking to her employees around her just not good energy overall, me personally i wouldnt wanna work with anyone like that. The foods is good but portions could be better, but all in all food is great but the customer service can be a lot better...

I was looking for a new breakfast place and decided to try Roni's based on the great reviews. The reviews were accurate about the food being good and excellent service. The atmosphere was quiet and clean. The location wasn't part of the mainstream of Sanford, so I would say it's a hidden gem. Parking on street or across the street. I noticed while dining many pickup orders for Door Dash and Uber and many walk ins for takeout. I know you are curious about what we had to eat so here goes: chicken wings and waffles both delicious cooked perfectly. Salmon Patty breakfast also good. Coffee served in smallest coffee cup I've ever seen but free refills. Orange juice bottled Minute Maid brand, love this!! Young female server attentive as we were the only ones dining in. Prices were good and serving portions as well. I will return and try lunch soon. Black owned business handling their business!!!
