I had not been here for dinner in years and to be honest I thought it was closed when we pulled up. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot and when we walked in maybe 3 tables had guests. I'm glad we didn't let that deter us because it was a nice evening with good food.They offer a bread service with oil and different Italian seasonings. It's hard to not to eat too much of that before dinner. We also started with the "Choose 2 Antipasta" and chose the Signature Mac & Cheese Bites and Crispy Fresh Mozzarella. Both were absolutely amazing, especially with the sauces they came with. I had the Penne Rustica which had roasted chicken, shrimp, and prosciutto in a rosemary cream sauce. I was good, but not as great as I remembered from years ago.I would definitely come back and probably stick with doing appetizers for the price they offer and the portions being good.

After a DIFFERENT location gave us a..."less than stellar" experience, we decided to try the Oviedo location. It was just a GREAT night all-around. The dining room was immaculate. Every table looked spotless and meticulously prepped. Management was great. Our server (Becca) was on top of everything. The food was perfect. It looked great. The portions were big (when even my son has extra to bring home...that's just sayin' something). The woodwork and walls look like they've been so well taken care of. It felt...RIGHT...like we remember Macaroni Grill being. Now, if Macaroni Grill would only bring back the old citrus vinaigrette from years ago...and that chocolate ganache (it was soooo freakin' good). WELL DONE! We'd go out of our way to head to this location.MINOR UPDATE: Weeks after posting the above AND sending separate, very positive notes to BOTH corporate and the area manager (which took a good amount of my time), I received absolutely NO reply. Hmmm...Kinda undermines the experience and makes me think that we only had good service because the store was aware of previous issues. Gotta say...this actually kept us from going back tonight.

The food is absolutely tasteless. :( Such a shame because the restaurant is beautiful. The staff is nice. Wonderful ambiance. But no flavor in the food whatsoever. The place was almost empty when we were there and now we know why.

I met a friend for lunch at Romano's Macaroni Grill and it was great! Service-just right. We felt welcome and the server was there at exactly all the right times. Atmosphere-so nice, right by the fireplace! Food-perfectly cooked and delicious pasta with shrimp. We had a wonderful lunch. Thank you!

Romano's Macaroni Grill is a national chain restaurant that offers an Italian inspired menu in a pleasant enough ambiance. With it being a national chain restaurant, I am not expecting the most authentic of Italian food, but it was good and the service was definitely top-notch and was both personable and professional. Romano's Macaroni Grill is a good option if you are looking perhaps for not the most authentic Italian meal, but a place with a friendly staff and an overall positive experience. I will give here four stars overall.

We went to this location for the first time since moving to Orlando in 2020 but remembering we used to frequently go when we lived in south Florida. Good news is service, food, and house wine is as good as we all remembered it!Let's start with the house wine: this is a 1.5 Lt of house wine, easy to drink and enjoyable (just don't expect Penfold's Grange!) at $25! I think its a current promo but wow! Awesome value and you can take it with you if you don't finish it.Appetizers: we ordered the 2 for $13 option, bruschetta and fried Mozzarella and both were delicious!Entrees: everyone LOVED their entrees! They were flavorful and well cooked. Dessert: we all shared a Tiramisu, it's big enough to share.Overall we all agreed that we will be back. Our server Tyler was fantastic. Easy parking outside and great service and food!

Food tastes just like it did back when they had multiple locations in Central Florida. I wasn't sure it would be worth the hike to Oviedo from my house but it was delish. I've stopped in twice, once for dinner date and once for take out. I apologize I didn't take any pics but we dug straight in as we went HUNGRY! On both occasions the dining room was pretty empty so it's a nice quiet date spot or just pleasant if you like a nice peaceful dinner. However I have passed by and it was a full parking lot so prime meal times, especially on weekends may be busier than I experienced. They have plenty of parking so no battle to enjoy good food . On both occasions the food was fast and delicious! First meal we ordered was the Penne Rústica and their version of the Olive Garden "Tour of Italy" called "Mama's Trio" which included Chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo and lasagna bolognese. Both were delish, I'm a sauce snob and it was solid, lots of complexity in the flavor as if they keep it simmering and add meat and veggies lots of good seasoning. Not as good as mine but lol it's really good for restaurant quality. Their olive oil dipping sauce is my favorite I've had at any restaurant to date. The crusty fresh baked round loafs of what I think is focaccia that the dipping sauce is served with is always a perfect complement and I have to control myself not to OD on it and then can't enjoy my food when it comes. No room for dessert but they do have some tasty options for dessert as well. They also have adult beverages available especially wine if you wish to enjoy a nice glass with your meal. If you are looking for good Italian in a nice upscale Tuscan Villa setting this is your spot!

Haven't been to a macaroni grill in years and decided to stop in for dinner. First off we were greeted by a friendly staff who accommodated our request for a larger booth even though there were only two us us. We told them we sit next to each other and they were totally into that plan. Our server was fast, friendly, and extremely attentive. He stopped by very frequently and checked in. The food came hot and fast. Had the rice balls as an appetizer and they were really tasty. Then we had a build your own pasta dish. This was really cool because we got to pick exactly what we wanted. Food was great, service was exceptional, atmosphere was very nice. For a chain style eatery, this place is awesome.

I ordered from Romano's at 5:30--my order was cancelled at 6:36 and I have a hungry 3 year old and an elderly diabetic waiting for their food. It is very inconsiderate for a place of business to cancel an order after having waited for it for such a long time.
