Robinson's Restaurant of Apopka

I have passed Robinson's restaurant several times and it is usually busy, so today we decided to stop on to grab breakfast. The restaurant is an older A-frame building with wooden cross beams and an old-fashioned inside. I started with a chocolate milk and my husband got a coffee. For breakfast I got the eggs, 2 cakes and corned beef hash meal with a side of bacon. My husband got fried eggs, 2 chocolate chip cakes, corned beef hash, and a biscuit. Our order was taken and arrived quickly. Everything was hot and cooked appropriately. The pancakes are HUGE and big enough for two people to share. The eggs were perfectly scrambled, the hash had a nice crisp outside and was juicy inside. The bacon is thick, but crispy, and hickory smoked. It did get busy and toward the end of our meal we had to ask twice to get a to go box, which was not a big deal. With tip our meal cost around $50, which is a little bit steep for breakfast.Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+.

I have lived in Apopka for over 30 years, and Robinson's Restaurant has always been here. You can tell it's a local favorite by the locals that fill the parking lot. The current owners are mixing Korean flair with traditional American cuisine. It's an interesting mix. We stopped in for breakfast, and it was an OK meal. Nothing outstanding. I had two eggs scrambled, two sausage patties, biscuits, and cheese grits. I was disappointed that the grits literally had a slice of unmelted American cheese in the middle. Not what I'm used to at other breakfast spots. My friend had the Country Fried Steak with hash browns and toast. She said it was very good and there was so much that she took a box home to eat later. The coffee was served in a huge mug! We will definitely be back again.

Robinson is a great place for home style country cooking. They have great grits, great country fried steak, great biscuits, and giant pancakes. This is one of our family favorites. The servers are all so incredibly friendly and nice. We have been going for over year and have never had a bad experience. From the outside I get the restaurant could use some work but I think it gives it charm and character. It's super warm and welcoming inside.

My mom and I drive past it all the time going out to Renninger's in Mount Dora. We finally decided to give them a try and they didn't disappoint! The biscuits & gravy were delicious! Everything was! I wish they were closer, but, we'll definitely be back when we're out that way!

Great food & customer service! but, this is no gourmet restaurant! Good ol inexpensive, down home cooking

The turkey and the bacon on the club tasted delicious & fresh.The best of the meal was the cheese & broccoli soup. It wasn't too liquidy and not a thick mess. It tasted so good. The owner came to our table to say hello, I loved that. The wait staff was terrific. A big thanks to Theresa for being so friendly and attentive!

Went with friend for breakfast....DELICIOUS!!!! 10 OUT OF 10...and the ambiance is adorable ...excellent friendly service...will be going back soon

Walked in, immediately noticed the terrible smell. Sat at one table, it was dirty. Moved to another and it has duck tape on top of the table. Walked out five seconds later. This review is just on the ambiance, didn't stay to try the food.

We sat down and literally the waiter threw the menus down on the table , she was rushing us didn't even let us look at the menu talking about are y'all ready to order , she was quick to help other people around us and greet them in a nicely manner , as for us it was almost like she didn't want to help us . Won't be coming back . First and last time

The owner was very sweet & friendly. My family and I will definitely be visiting again. food was hot and very yummy , i highly recommend
